Actress Charged for Ricin Letters
It's her biggest role so far
A Texas actress has been indicted on three federal threat charges for allegedly sending ricin-laced letters to President Obama, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Mark Glaze, head of a gun-control organization.
The indictment, made public Friday, charges 35-year-old Shannon Guess Richardson of New Boston, TX., with threatening the President of the United States and two charges of mailing threatening letters. If convicted, Richardson could be sentenced to five years imprisonment for each charge. The mother of five remains jailed.
Richardson, a former Dallas beauty queen who has had minor roles in TV series including The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, and All My Children, was arrested June 7.
