$1.2 Million in Cash Lost from Swiss Jet at JFK Airport
All in $100 bills
The FBI says $1.2 million in cash was discovered missing from a Swiss International Air Lines jet after it landed at John F. Kennedy Airport.
Agency spokesman J. Peter Donald says the plane arrived at the New York City airport on Saturday. He says the money was in $100 bills.
The FBI is investigating whether the cash disappeared from the cargo hold in Zurich, Switzerland, where the plane originated, or after it landed.
