Nick Gillespie Talking IRS, AP Scandals w Ezra Levant on Sun News
Yesterday, I talked about the IRS hearings and Obama's War on Journalism on Canadian television with Ezra Levant of Sun News. It's about 6 minutes.
If Levant's name sounds familiar, it's probably because of the insane legal situation he found himself in years back as the publisher of the Western Standard. In 2006, Levant published several of the infamous Mohammed cartoons that originally appeared in a Danish newspaper. As a result, Levant was brought up on charges that he had violated Canadian laws against religious discriminatin. Levant wrote about his travails - and eventual legal triumph - in "The Internet Saved My Tongue" in the June 2009 issue of Reason.

A bunch of people who smell of stale patchouli?
First I've heard of it. Looking outside my window it does not appear that the world has changed yet. I'll keep checking.
Sounds like a plan to me dude. Wow.

The band cuts Gillespie off. I couldn't tell if it was Rush, Barenaked Ladies or Nickelback.
Sun News? WOW
They want to use the power of the CRTC to make carriage of their fledgling network mandatory for all cable systems.

Various reasonoids have also appeared on Russia Today, which is a propaganda arm of the Soviet Russian government.
Where (RT) you might get light shed on things webcast here. Same as the Pravda-like NY Times and WP if they have webcasts in Russia.
When you take a job with the government, you give up some of your rights in the course of your job function. The first amendment is one of them, for sure - shouldn't the fifth be as well? If she wants to invoke the fifth if a congresscritter asks her "do you contract prostitutes" let her take the fifth, but if it's 'what happened under you watch', no way.
Gotta love those bought and paid for politicians.
