Fugitive Arrested After 34 Years
Convicted of rape, man used fake name, started new life in Maine
Massachusetts State Police finally arrested a convicted rapist named Gary Alan Irving last night in Gorham, Maine, reports Boston Globe on March 28, 2013.
He left Massachusetts in 1979 and his name appeared on the Massachusetts State Police Most Wanted list for last 34 years.
Reportedly he began a new life with a fake name and lived with a wife, two children, and a granddaughter.
