Police in New York State Shoot and Kill 64-Year-Old Rampage Suspect
After a 19-hour standoff
Police swarming an abandoned building in an Upstate New York village Thursday morning shot and killed a 64-year-old man suspected of killing four people and injuring two others in shooting rampage at a barber shop and a car wash.
Kurt Myers, of Mohawk, N.Y., died after officers went into the building around 8 a.m. EST after a 19-hour standoff, State trooper Jack Keller said.
