Barrett Firearms Joins Gun Companies Boycotting NY Police
Growing list of firms spurns government business
Police departments and other government agencies throughout New York state will no longer be able to do business with Murfreesboro's Barrett Firearms Manufacturing Co. – either to purchase guns or have them serviced.
Owner Ronnie Barrett, in a letter posted on his company's website, said he was taking the action because of New York's recent passage of stricter gun-control laws in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., school massacre.
The ban on sales and service to New York government agencies also extends to state legislators who voted in favor of the new law, which Barrett characterized as "unconstitutional."

Barrett was the one who actually started this eight years ago with the State of California: http://www.thegunzone.com/rkba/rkba-50.html. The man's a real deal stand-up guy.
This is great.
