Wilmington Couple Suing Cops for Reckless Use of Taser
Fourth suit in four years filed over stun guns in Delaware
A Wilmington couple, with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union, is suing the city and several of its police officers in federal court over a January 2011 incident that they allege involved reckless use of stun guns.
The plaintiffs, Matthew Dixon and his wife, Rosalyn Henderson-Dixon, filed suit earlier this month in U.S. District Court in Delaware. They are seeking damages and reform of the city's use-of-force policies in regard to stun guns.
