German Politicians Make Move to Ban Bestiality
Sex with animals was legalized in 1969
Germany's ruling coalition is calling for a ban on bestiality—or the practice of having sex with animals.
The German parliament's agriculture committee is considering a legal amendment to describe sex with humans as "inappropriate" for animals. A hefty fine could be imposed on offenders.
A final vote will be held in the Bundestag (lower house) on 14 December.
