Mitt Romney and Barack Obama may have come close to brawling at yesterday's "town hall" "debate," but only one would-be president got arrested:
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein and running mate Cheri Honkala were arrested outside Long Island's Hofstra University ahead of tonight's debate.
After being denied entrance to the campus because they lacked credentials, the two candidates sat down in the street in front of the university with an American flag on their laps, the Long Island Report explains. They were led away by police officers after refusing to move.
Score one for Stein. If there's one thing I want in a president, it's a willingness to go to jail.

Progressives who really care about the issues will vote for Stein.
The downside of voting for Stein, however, is that if you vote for Stein, you're not really part of the Obama personality cult, and being part of the Obama personality cult is what gives a lot of progressives a sense of identity, belonging and meaning.
Damn, when I first saw the headline I was hoping that maybe Gary Johnson had managed to disguise himself as one of the allegedly "normal people" who were hand picked by the campaigns and the the debate commision to lob pre-scripted questions at the candidates, and then got arrested when he proceeded to go off script. I would have watched that.
Hell, if the debate had actually been spontaneous questions from non pre-screened honest to God normal people, I would have watched it just for the lulz.
A few weeks ago I signed a petition attempting to get her on the ballot in PA. She may a filthy pinko hippie, but she deserves a fair shot.
I would love to see Nobody on the ballot!

I wouldn't want the job.
That's why you're the best choice.

LOL I saw Wavy Gravy at a concert this past summer; he wasn't looking too hot.
Finally, a nominee who won't waste our tax dollars on extraneous things like web design.
Obama is trying to defeat the Republican War on Women, and this bitch is getting in his way.

Presidential Candidate Arrested At Presidential Debate
Why am I really disappointed that that candidate wasn't plural?!
Gary Johnson is a sissy compared to Badnarik.
You know how hard it is to arrest a white man in New York?
...the two candidates sat down in the street in front of the university with an American flag on their laps, the Long Island Report explains.
Wrapping themselves in Old Glory. Panhandling and pandering.
Those women should be in the kitchen handling pans, not out in the street panhandling.
Flag aprons optional.
"Cheri Honkala" sounds like something that Barry inhaled in the Choomwagon.

Jill Stein compares herself with Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson starting around 4:50 in this video:

A demonstrated ability to seek free publicity.
Defiance of authority isn't exactly unlibertarian.
Free publicity, that's something you just can't buy.
Because there is no justice in how the CPD conducts itself.
