Obama and Romney Sidestep National Security in Second Debate
Will have to answer at next one
President Obama and GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney largely avoided defense and national security issues in their second presidential debate, setting the stage for the third and final face-off between the candidates next week.
While Tuesday night's town-hall-style debate was billed as a mix of domestic and foreign policy issues, Obama and Romney spent most of the hour-and-a-half exchange aggressively attacking each others' positions on the economy, healthcare, immigration and energy issues.
