Feds Seize Tons of Pot in Arizona
Bundles found all over the place near the border
More than 5,600 pounds of marijuana worth nearly $3 million was seized by Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents in three separate incidents over the weekend.
Ajo agents operating mobile surveillance equipment observed a group of suspected narcotics smugglers just north of the border Saturday morning. Agents found 11 bundles of abandoned marijuana weighing nearly 594 pounds and valued at $297,000.
