Man Claiming to be Suing Cops Charged with Bribery
Told cops he was suing the Chicago PD and that he'd give them $5,000 if they let him go.
Boasting he was "going to make lots of money" from a lawsuit against the city, a man offered officers $5,000 let him go after he was arrested for public drinking in the Little Village neighborhood, authorities say.
Michael Torres, 24, was charged with bribery and ordered held on $80,000 bail, officials said.
