Medical Marijuana Is Up to States, Says Paul Ryan

That's ... pleasantly astonishing

In an interview with Colorado station KRDO-TV, Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan says he believes it's up to the states to decide whether to legalize medical marijuana.

"My personal position on these issues has been let the states decide what they want to do with these things," he explains. "This is something that is not a high priority of ours."

If this is official Romney campaign position (and it is or Ryan wouldn't have shot his mouth off) they need to target it to the right audience. Dopers, med mj types, and Loserdopians. If they're sincere it would be a nice little bomb for Mittens to drop in a debate. With a little Bush-bashing of some policy Obama has continued or increased and some Wall Street-bashing it just might be enough carpet bombing to flip a state or two.
