Most Americans Predict an Obama Victory

Only thirty six percent of Americans think Romney will win in November

PRINCETON, NJ -- Most Americans believe President Obama will win the presidential election this fall, even though the race has been highly competitive for most of the year. Americans' expectation that Obama will win has been remarkably consistent, virtually unchanged since May despite three intervening months of campaigning.

I believe that if Romney wins it will let steam out of the libertarian machine that has been moving through middle america over the last 4 years. Strange as it feels to say this - I think the cause of liberty is better served, in the long and short run, if Obama gets re-elected. Romney is just awful. What I am describing here is similar to what happened to the anti-war movement after Obama was elected....It essentially disappeared. The tea party needs all the steam it can gather.
