Michigan Casino Proposals Put to Vote

State Supreme Court will allow voters to decide whether to allow eight more facilities.

The Michigan Supreme Court ordered state election officials Friday to put a proposal on the Nov. 6 ballot seeking eight new casinos in Michigan.

The high court overturned an earlier ruling by the Michigan Court of Appeals, which bumped the issue off of the ballot.
