Three Officers in Kelly Thomas Case to Return to Job

They will be patrolling desks.

Three of the six police officers at the scene after a confrontation with a mentally ill homeless man will be returning to work, said Cpt. Dan Hughes, the acting police chief.

The three will be assigned to desk duty and not on patrol, the captain said.
