City Settling With Cop Fired for Police Brutality
Charges were dropped when man who needed ten stitches after being handcuffed wouldn't testify. He's suing the city now too.
NEW BRITAIN — City attorneys have settled years-long litigation with a former police officer who was terminated following allegations he roughed up a suspect in 2007.
Jeffrey Walsh has been in litigation with the city in one form or another nearly since his arrest on charges he struck a handcuffed suspect in the face with a nightstick while responding to dispute between two brothers in June 2007.
