"Here's a Car That Any Young Technocrat Would Be Proud Of"
Friday fun link: In 1969 the Firesign Theater made a series of TV commercials for a Volkswagen dealership in Los Angeles. If you've been waiting your whole life to see a pitchman say he's not going to talk about value "because values are different from culture to culture," this is your chance.

What do you guys think of this commercial from the 50's?
Wow. Was this how people really perceived teh gheys back in the day?
I wrote a bit about the guy who made that film here.
Thanks, Jesse. That was just a bit before I started reading H&R, so I had never been introduced to Sid Davis. Nice article.
"Oh Nicky are you alright?"
"Yes"
"Then STOP slapping me."
"How come yours is so much louder than mine?"
"Simple. I'm pissing on your briefcase."
That was seriously great. You made my week. Thanks, JW.
"What is reality?"
Um, I went through it twice, and only heard one reference to "value and judgment", not a thing about values being different from culture to culture.
Ah, I see now - the link is not to a commercial but to 8 related commercials, and that reference was to the 8th one, "Hoedown".
One should not make any payments online until you carefully check everything related to your used car purchase, it is a fact that used cars are sold online just like anything else but still one should do careful assessment of everything otherwise it might be scam and you will end up wasting money.Used Subaru Legacy | Honda Odyssey For Sale
