Hodor!
Malcovich?
Arguing with a shrieking woman, that's some great video alright.
I love Peter Schiff.
I love myself. And my mom. But mostly I love Ben Affleck.
I'm pretty sure that subjecting anyone to a video of Cornell West is a violation of the Constitutional prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment.
I couldn't finish it. West is a classic example of an imbecile posing as an intellectual. The way he tilted his head when Schiff spoke as if he was listening and then responding with shit that could have come off of cue cards made me want to puke.
^Amen+plenty^
There are few faux-intellectual celebrities of the academic class I find more distasteful than Cornel West. Since everything he says and does has a race-stick planted firmly up its ass and average teevee-watchers can't see his face without thinking "black PEOPLE", that guy's position is an insult to intelligent black people. What a fucking joke he is.
On a side note, there's a pretty bizarre interview out there somewhere with Cornel West and Tavis Smiley visiting Bill Withers at his home in West Virginia. Kinda fun, because it's obvious that Withers - who essentially went overnight from semi-happily building toilets for airplanes to being a recording star, made his fortune, left his industry with the proper fuck-yous, and settled down in blissful obscurity to raise a family - wasn't jivin' with Cornel West. Hm, I wonder why they didn't relate so well.
That occurred during the middle of Still Bill. Great film outside that forced meeting with the distinguished professor.
Thanks. I need to finally watch that film.

Brian Lamb is a national treasure.
A national treasure, you say? Then we shall protest and defecate in the streest until we are given at least 50% of this treasure to use for our personal use!
He's amazing. I can't believe how he twisted the entire story of labor as if the free markets actually gave us better working conditions.
The free market that Brian is talking about could NEVER exist without regulations. Free Markets require limited regulations. And, these limited regulations should ABSOLUTELY include labor laws.
*barf*
The free market my ass.
If you leave to the people that have all of the money and so the so called job creators, you'll see the working class standard of living (especially educational standards) go down to hell. Just like it is in Guatamala, Domin Rep, Mexico, and various other parts of Latin America.
I don't care what any of you people say, anyone that is Libertarian/Republican/Conservative that is NOT RICH and buys the FREE MARKET CRAP is JUST as much of a STOOGE as the JESUS FREAKS that believe the SAME PEOPLE.
I have perhaps too much respect for LIBERTARIANS. You guys hold on to your FREE MARKET DOCTRINE just as those who take the BIBLE literally.
The Free Market is BEST for Merchants and would just not be a good idea for many things.
We all agree that Government has to play some role. And, government usually steps in after a series of ABUSE by the MOST POWERFUL and the MOST RICH that tend to be BULLIES.
So, when the little guy was able to come together and demand fair treatment via the government ATLAS was Strugged by these powerful people in the form of OUTSOURCE, demanding the destruction of all institutions that stand for any fairness in employment, etc. It's to the Point that the MOST powerful at this point has taken over the institution that use to protect the working class (the Government).
Outside of an apocalypse (you pick, meteor, dollar crash, nuclear bomb, or another civil war) , I think this country is DONE !!!
Atlas Shrugged? You mean those who carried the worthless got tired of doing so and told them to go fuck themselves? If only.
Who is worthless? Those stooges that work that make the rich richer? Who's to say that either is worth more than the other.
"...the MOST powerful at this point has taken over the institution that use to protect the working class (the Government)."
At what point has any government specifically protected the working class? And if you want an explanation as to how the American federal gov't has been essentially taken over by powerful commercial interests, look no further than the marriage of business and gov't that is our vast economic regulatory apparatus. Sheesh.
