Q: How Can Spending 30 Percent More Be "Austerity"?
A: It can't, of course.
But in a nearly fact-free 4,000-word thumbsucker in The Nation, deep thinker Ari Berman manages to avoid any mention of how much the Federal government is actually spending. Instead, Berman draws on comments from some of the most discredited retreads in government to make the case that a vaguely defined "austerity class" is in control of the U.S. capital.
Berman lets the deficit hawks have it right in the kisser:
[H]ow, in the midst of a massive unemployment crisis — when it's painfully obvious that not enough jobs are being created and the public overwhelmingly wants policy-makers to focus on creating them — did the deficit emerge as the most pressing issue in the country? And why, when the global evidence clearly indicates that austerity measures will raise unemployment and hinder, not accelerate, growth, do advocates of austerity retain such distinction today?
An explanation can be found in the prominence of an influential and aggressive austerity class—an allegedly centrist coalition of politicians, wonks and pundits who are considered indisputably wise custodians of US economic policy. These "very serious people," as New York Times columnist Paul Krugman wryly dubs them, have achieved what University of California, Berkeley, economist Brad DeLong calls "intellectual hegemony over the course of the debate in Washington, from 2009 until today."
Whoa, Krugman and DeLong are in agreement? Well that settles it!
But Berman isn't finished working his way through the roster of the perpetually wrong. He also draws on such luminaries as former Council of Economic Advisers chairwoman Christina Romer and Jared Bernstein, former chief economist to Vice President Joe Biden. Joe Stiglitz gets wheeled in as well.
Now there's nothing wrong with citing Romer or Bernstein, because unlike nearly all the austerity hawks Berman alludes to, they actually held real power and were given a chance to put their ideas into action. If you've been reading the newspapers over the past three years, you know that their ideas failed. That's why the word "former" figures in both their titles.
The iron test of reality, however, is not as attractive to Berman as the doubly hypothetical plan to eat Irish babies concocted by big nothing Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin). You'll remember that Ryan had a deficit reduction plan that would have balanced the budget in – I'm not making this up – the year 2063, the same year that humanity will make contact with Berman's Vulcan descendents.
Berman, who wants to make our flesh creep, carefully avoids noting that Ryan's plan, like all the best-laid schemes of the austerity class, came to nothing. Here are total federal outlays [pdf] since the beginning of the long-overdue correction in real estate prices began:
2008 $2.9 trillion
2009 $3.5 trillion
2010 $3.5 trillion
2011 $3.8 trillion
Here are revenues, spending and deficits, respectively, over the same period:
Do I expect the anti-austeritists to be persuaded by these facts? I do not. I predict the "austerity class" will become a popular trope, repeated with knowing nods among the 99 Percent.

To liberals, cutting next year's budget increase is "draconian".
Never mind that the budget goes up... if it isn't going up the amount they want, it's "austerity" and Joe Biden gets to say that crime will go up - as if he can tell the future.
We are soooooo fucked.
I'm pretty sure to a liberal if government spending isn't at least 70 percent of GDP, then it's considered austerity.
You're being very generous, Jebus.
I'm pretty sure to a libertarian if big-government restriction on free movement of people isn't at least 97% of "arable" land, then it's considered wasteful to "production."
Officer, am I free to gambol about plain and forest?
The Lone Ranger rode me longer, harder and more often than he did that bitch, Silver.
Oh, it's true.
Shut the fuck up, White Idiot.
If they don't increase the budget men will be raped too

STEVE SMITH LIKE AUSTERITY. STEVE SMITH ALSO LIKE RAPE. WIN WIN FOR STEVE SMITH!
To libertarians, the restriction of free movement of families across the Land to freely forage and hunt is "freedom".
To Libertarians, the genocide of millions of Native Americans is "self-defense."
We are soooooo fucked.
Officer, am I free to gambol about plain and forest?
I have a gamboling problem.
I would have revealed that earlier... but: I had some reservations.
Libertarians didn't exist in those days, White Idiot. We had nothing to do with it.
Then again, no one alive today had anything to do with it, so fucking deal with the past.
Plus, once you factor out disease which killed off 80% of the population before Europeans even had much interaction with the native population, it also hyperbole.
Indeed.
You should be a spokesman for Stalin.
Weird how this country's founders are considered "libertarian" until FIFY declares them not. Libertarians speak with forked tongue.
It takes constant threat of aggression to enforce your big-government lines upon the earth. Deal with it FIFY. You're a STATIST at heart.
Officer, am I free to gambol about plain and forest?
I don't get it, are you a Hindu?
Am I free to gambol about the shire?
Am I free to time-gambol across plaincube and forestcube?

Remember that horrible show Home Improvement? I always hear Tim Allen saying "More Spending!!{grunt, grunt, grunt}" when reading these arguments.
Home Improvement was a good and successful show until it was undermined by the crypto-Yehudim of Seinfeld.
Quickest way to identify an idiot is to find the person saying how much the federal government has cut spending.
Screw the topic. That's right, screw it!
I need a little help. The next time I'm at some article where the comments make some mention of "evil corporations" I'm going to copypasta this list of inconvenient corporations:
American Civil Liberties Union
Sierra Club
Planned Parenthood
AFL-CIO (Teamsters)
Service Employees International Union
United Food and Commerical Workers Union
United Auto Workers
Center for Science in the Public Interest
MoveOn.org
The New York Times
American Trial Lawyers Association
Can anyone reply and add their favorites? I'm sure I'll think of more as well. Thanks!
Is PETA incorporated?
You should also show that list to all the lefties who complain about lobbyists.
Thank you, I will add that.
?
Here's a few.

...corporations. Please make a note of it.
If you have to start moving goalposts, you lose. Make a note of that, then roll it up and shove it up your diseased twat.
If you deny the difference between profit and non-profit corporations, you lose. Make a note of that, then roll it up and shove it up your diseased twat.
Ooooooh, someone's mad. Scary!
This troll could make it's own list. But it's easier to WAAAAHH!
Either corporations are good, or they are bad.
Either sex is good or bad.
I know exactly the difference between profit and non-profit corporations (as a lawyer for a non-profit). In its entirety, it is this:
Non-profits may not, directly or indirectly, distribute their net revenues to individuals.
This does not restrict their ability to pay their employees/contractors market rates (which is to say, what for-profits pay their employees/contractors) for their services.
Obviously, retaining earnings rather than paying dividends is an ample hook on which to hang broad moralistic distinctions.
Plus I thought the argument was that limited civil liability was infinitely corrupting, so wouldn't that lead all non-profits to corruption?
Does your butt hurt, Danny? You sound like your butt hurts.
I work for one ... for a couple more weeks ... then I am gone ... can't take the ethically challenged anymore.
The only difference is that non profits don't have to pay any taxes on the profits that they make - like Blue Cross
that and they don't have to pay property tax or sales tax.
IMHO they should have to pay property tax at least, as in many cities the tax base has been decimated by land being bought up by deep-pocketed nonprofits like hospitals and universities during recessions, and it never makes it back out of the nonprofit sector.
You're thinking of churches.
Non-profits have to pay property taxes plus pretty much all taxes that for-profit corporations do except corporate income tax since by definition they have no profits to pay tax on.
"except corporate income tax since by definition they have no profits to pay tax on."
Oh there are plenty of them that actually do make a profit - in the economic sense. They just don't have to pay an income tax on it.
Non-profits most definitely do pay sales tax - at least in my state they do. They also have to collect them on sales of anything to the public.
ya, varies state to state. Might be exempt from property tax in one state but subject in another, exempt from regular sales tax but subject to motor vehicle sales tax, w/e state legislators dreamed up at the time
The NEA (National Education Ass.) was incorporated 141 years ago.
Oh, so you want us to differentiate between non-profits and for-profit corporations, yet give the OWS clowns a free pass when they don't even know how the Fed works or who the chairman is?
You hypocritical buttonhole.
Oh, so you want us to differentiate between good government aggression and bad government aggression, and give the Libertarian clowns a free pass when they don't even know that agriculture creates government?*
You hypocritical buttonhole.
"Agriculture creates government." ~Richard Manning, Against the Grain, p. 73
There is no such thing as "good government aggression," dickface. When are gonna get that through your thick skull?
He's a liberal. You'll never get a sufficiently logical answer.
Liar. Not a liberal.
GE was a non profit corporation last year.
Team Obama saw to that, Maxxx.
Thanks, Sloopy. I will add that.
American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Workers
Carpenters and Joiners Union
Laborers Union
Communications Workers of America
American Federation of Teachers
Teamsters
I will add those. Thanks, George V!
sage, I am sure there are more, but you will have made your point. Oh...AARP!
YES! Added.
OK, but AARP actually is evil.
Corporation for Public Broadcasting
Greenpeace USA
The IRS list of charitable--as in contributions are deductible--organizations (which is presumably smaller than a complete list of non-profit corporations) is here.
Link got eaten.
Solyndra!!
The Nation Company, L.P.
That one's added too. Thanks, The Federalist!
Be sure to add Dartmouth College as that was the Supreme Court case that granted corporations fictive person status.
Ok here goes:
Kemari footbags (they make hackysacks)
Latin Percussion (bongos)
Fender/Gibson
Nothface/Patagonia (might get a "fairtrade" rebuttal)
Its good to know and may help in a pinch that Hitler played an integral role in the development of the VW Beetle.
Even better factoid is that Hillary Clinton was on the board of Wal-Mart.
Three hummers and a facial.
Most of the above organizations I, as a libertarian dislike, especially with their collusion with big government spending. The ACLU, even though it has an agenda and is not always objectively defending the constitution for everyone is in no way as evil as Soros' Moveon.org or the UAW.
My 2 dollars worth. (What I did there is take 2 cents and added inflation since the term was coined. Get it...coined.)
Quickest way to identify an idiot is to find the person saying how much the big-government restriction of free movement of free families to freely forage is "liberty."
Officer, am I free to gambol about forest and plain?
Officer, am I free to take all the things that WI is not currently consuming, via his vague notion of property rights?
[libertarian] vague notion of property rights ~[fixed]
Restricting the free movement of families across the land requires an egregious breach of the non-aggression principle.
Ah, right, libertarian "principles" are merely debate conveniences to be discarded when inconvenient to their accumulation of more stuff.
What are you talking about? Because we don't think anyone should be allowed to come into our homes uninvited and use our things without asking?
You really don't understand individual property rights.
You really don't understand individual property "rights." But this attorney does, as follows:
The abstract notion of ownership serves as the single, greatest perpetuator of hierarchy. When one steps back and examines the notion of "owning" something, the abstraction becomes readily apparent. Ownership represents nothing more than a power-relationship?the ability to control. The tribal institution of "Ownership by use" on the other hand, suggests simply that one can only "own" those things that they put to immediate, direct and personal use to meet basic needs?and not more. A society crosses the memetic Rubicon when it accepts the abstraction that ownership can extend beyond the exclusive needs of one individual for survival. (Read Jason Godesky on Ownership(*)) Abstract ownership begins when society accepts a claim of symbolic control of something without the requirement of immediate, direct and personal use. Hierarchy, at any level, requires this excess, abstract ownership?it represents the symbolic capital that forms the foundation of all stratification.

...whatever you want to guess, big-government Statist.
Dude, what's with the ad hominems?
Not when Libertarians use it.

Yes, because I bow down before von Mises and Ayn Rand. More primitivist straw men for the burning, I suppose.
Nuh uh, you are!
That's why attorneys like that don't last long in the wild, they don't seem to understand the concept of food.
If only they could get those pesky animals to open some star bucks and to appreciate the enlightened principle of sharing! Damn those libertarian animals for not appreciating the clearly enlightened animals that practice utopian property sharing schemes!
White Indian's ways are real -- 99% of your ancestors lived them -- unlike your Libertarian utopias that have never seen the light of day.
For more than 99 per cent of human history people have lived in groupings that social scientists call "non-state societies."

"Try to imagine a way of life where land, shelter, and food are free, and where there are no leaders, bosses, politics, organized crime, taxes, or laws. Add to this the benefits of being part of a society where everything is shared, where there are no rich people and no poor people, and where happiness does not mean the accumulation of material possessions?
"The life includes?for about four hours of work per day?a ready supply of food, along with good fellowship, music, dancing, singing, and a pride and pleasure in one's family. For those so inclined, free love is openly enjoyed and even ritualized among the young people, yet marriage, when it occurs, is generally monogamous and permanent."

Libertarians and other Statist apologists seem to gravitate to known liars for their sophist pap.
"Among the Mbuti pygmies principally studied by Paul Schebesta, on days when the women did not fetch a supply of fruits and vegetables from the gardens of their village-dwelling neighbors, their gathering excursions in the forest lasted between five and six hours. Apart from their food-gathering, the women had considerable additional work to do. Each afternoon, for example, a woman had to go again into the forest and come back to camp panting and bowed under a huge load of firewood. The women worked far more than the men, but it seems clear from Schebesta's account that the men nevertheless worked much more than the three or four hours a day claimed by the anarchoprimitivists. [13] Colin Turnbull studied Mbuti pygmies who hunted with nets. Due to the advantage conferred by the nets, these Mbuti only needed to hunt about twenty hours per week. But for them: "Netmaking is virtually a full-time occupation... in which both men and women indulge whenever they have both the spare time and the inclination." [14]"

No that can't be true someone posted a link that says otherwise and said their are anti-dogmatic. So you must be wrong.
Did White Indian just quote the Unabomber?
Children of the Forest; Africa's Mbuti Pygmies
Yeah, because as we all know, African tribespeople had an average life expectancy of 75 years, before the Berbers brought their evil shovels, rakes, hoes, and seedcorn.
And don't forget their evil western medicine, that put the pigmie MRI centers out of business. Damn the west and it's antihuman science!
Your notion that any human society can be free of leaders or politics is laughably naive.
Your notion that any human society should have to put up with its leaders being unaccountable tyrants is laughably...no wait, it's not laughable, it's just cynical and complacent.
Of course, I would never turn off my computer and move to utopian Africa. I'm a hypocritical pussy and I don't really believe the bullshit I copy and post.
LALALALALALALA I CAN'T SEE YOUR ARGUMENTS. HERE'S ANOTHER STOCK POST SAYING THE SAME SHIT.
Of course, I would never quit paying taxes and move to utopian wherever. I'm a hypocritical pussy and I don't really believe the bullshit I copy and post.
What libertarian utopia? Libertarians are trying to create a new society, not go back to the one you have a particularly retarded case of Golden Age Syndrome for.
Who on here said they were going to stop paying taxes and move to some utopia?
First of all, one doesn't exist yet.
Keep conjuring. Maybe next year, you'll conjure up a utopia. Or the animated dead. Seems so likely, dontcha know!
Maybe next year you'll convince everyone that technology is lame and root vegetables are fun and delicious.

Why I good sir not on buy gasoline and burn it up in my unpc SUV, I also have stock in petroleum companies! So clearly I am a statist propagandist, that argument follows and isn't hypostatic at all. You said it so it must be true!
"The tribal institution of "Ownership by use" on the other hand, suggests simply that one can only "own" those things that they put to immediate, direct and personal use to meet basic needs?and not more"
And that isn't one damn bit less abstract than any other notion of property ownership.
You aren't the least bit capable of proving that concept of propery is one iota more valid in any way than any other one.
Actually, something you have in your hand is a pretty concrete example of ownership.
You saying you "own" Land where other people live, and they must pay the "landlord" rent is pretty abstract.
Stay in denial, Gilbert. Libertarians are the strongest proponents of the big-government program of drawing lines on the earth to restrict people's free movement.
You're a statist.
"Actually, something you have in your hand is a pretty concrete example of ownership."
Actually it is no such thing.
It is not one iota less atribtary and abstact a distinction than you trying to claim no one can own land.
And you aren't the least bit capable of proving the case is otherwise.
So, you if you don't own anything that isn't put to immediate, direct and personal use to meet basic needs, then could you please give me your address so that I can come and pick up all those things that you don't own? You obviously aren't putting "your" computer to constructive use so I thought I'd give it to some primative for more immediate use like clubbing squirrels or something.
Why even restict it to that?
You are quite free to snatch food right out of his hand if you please.
After all, if he considers himself fit to judge your concept of property to be invalid, you are perfectly free to do the same to him,
ALL concepts of property are an abtract construct. He isn't the least bit capable of proving his preferred one is more legitimate than any other.
Actually, something you have in your hand is a pretty concrete example of ownership.
You saying you "own" Land where other people live, and they must pay the "landlord" rent is pretty abstract.

Soros is a proto-communist pig-fucker.
IOW, when the shithammer drops and freedom is eradicated, he and other rich liberals will be well-situated while the rest of the "workers" get their weekly loaf of bread from the state-run food dispensaries.
Spending has clearly been cut to the bone and there just isn't anything left to cut.
Baseball history was made last night:
ARLINGTON -- It would not have been unreasonable to think Albert Pujols had nothing left to accomplish in baseball. It just would have been wrong.
Add one more line to the r?sum? of the greatest hitter of his generation: Pujols turned in the greatest individual hitting performance in World Series history on Saturday night. The Cardinals superstar pounded three home runs among five hits, driving in six runs and amassing 14 total bases, as St. Louis obliterated the Rangers, 16-7, in Game 3 of the 2011 World Series.
Pujols equaled World Series records for hits, homers and RBIs, set a new record for total bases and became the first person to get anywhere close to combining all of them in the same game. No one had ever had four hits, two homers and five RBIs in a Fall Classic game, never mind five, three and six. Pujols joined Reggie Jackson and Babe Ruth as the only players to homer three times in a World Series game (Ruth did it twice).
You know why? because people love to say poo-holes
Where do you think we end up ranking Pujols all time? Ahead of Jimmy Foxx maybe? Behind Williams? Maybe alongside Williams (better power)? Seriously, it is going to be a great debate
You can compare him to Williams when the Dominican Republic goes to war with Korea and he goes and kills a bunch of Norks from the sky.
That's true, Williams lost several years in his prime to WW2 and then later Korea .......
Plus 1B is a little easier to field than the outfield. Baseball-reference has Pujols's WAR with Ripken, Boggs, and Brett, which seems silly until you consider that he's done it in half the time. Greatest similarity score is Jimmie Foxx, and I can get behind that.
If you look at what he has done (all without steroids by the way), he already is mentioned in the top 3-5 names in many categories. Up there with Lou Gherig, etc. Even this year, the worst of his career in many areas, he hit .299 with 99 RBI's and just missed having his 10th or 11th straight year hitting .300 with 100 RBI's. He also only strikes out 50-60 times a year and even this year when they hardly intentionally walked him at all he had the best walk to SO ratio in baseball (with >450 at bats). He was 9/10 in stolen bases and goes from 1st to 3rd very often so is a smart baseball player since he is only average speed and has had heel issues for years. His lifetime average is still like .320 I think ....... Plus after moving to first he now has a few gold gloves.
Disclaimer: St. Louis is my hometown although I have not lived there for 20+ years.
If he played on one of the coasts, we would be sick of hearing how good he is ....
Jesus, if Pujols played for the Yankees or the Red Sox, we would be tired of hearing about him. We'd also be hearing about how he is the next Ruth
Frak, execute Frank McCourt, get a new Dodger owner, and put Pujols in the lineup 4th behind Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp.
He would have hit .500.
And yes, Pujols is a monster at the plate.
Spending has clearly been cut to the bone
That govt isn't fat, it just has big bones.

Its about the jobs, people. Ideology can wait.
Mr. Shit for Brains:
This "JOBS,JOBS,JOBS" ideology should certainly wait.
What's "draconian" about it, asshat?
Or do you think we can just increase spending until the economy collapses into a singularity?
No don't you see they want that so we can all live in stone age societies and work 4 hours a day with free food and love for everyone! Haven't you been paying attention to white indian?
Um, yeah, I'm gonna quit my jobs and sell my house and live with the pygmies!
Not.
They don't want your sorry ass anyway. Stay home.
"Its about the jobs, people"
Which no government on earth has ever created.
Because government is so good at creating jobs.

Reason Magazine: Rugged, individualist independents with loyalties that lie with no major political party...who just happen to always attack Democrats and defend Republicans.
Must be new here. Reason lays out Republicans all the time.
They do, and those articles inevitably have comments identical to Aarons's save the political parties are reversed.
Also, 'cosmotarian', put that in there somewhere.
When we were bitching at the previous administration for doing this exact same shit, we were secretly aligned with the republicans. On the other hand, when democrats do the exact same shit as the republicans, the democrats are somehow not aligned with republicans.
Start advocating policy that doesn't greatly lessen our general welfare, and stop acting like bat shit morons, and democrats might get a hearing from us again. Really, you've gone collectively batshit. You would be embarrassed by Berman's writing instead of trying to win penny ante points against us if that wasn't the case.
What the fuck are you talking about?

It was towards Aaron R but there's no reason not to spread it around.
BushPig Obama, Father and Son.
Wrong, Aaron... I'd just as soon punch a social conservative as a liberal.
But the liberals are in charge now, and those in charge always deserve derision.
...and they oddly seem to do a lot of same things as the SoCons, DOMA aside.
Good call, Cy. Team Obama's been gettin' pretty ballsy in the war department and the snoop-on-people department as well.
Ryan had a deficit reduction plan that would have balanced the budget in ? I'm not making this up ? the year 2063,
Assuming the Bush tax cuts would expire, and what, 2% GDP growth? 3%? 4%?
There's a lot of "ass" being made out out "U" and "Me", there.
Seriously, people we need a white indian embargo. Like we did with rather and her incessant blog whoring. If we ignore his tiresome shit long enough, he might go away. Or at least you can scroll past him.

His empirical data regarding Non-State sociopolitical typology reveal Libertarianism for what it truly is: government for me, but not for thee.
"government for me, but not for thee"
Wait... aren't we anarchists? Anarchists HATE government!
White Indian is rectal. Is it any coincidence that when she's being a manic fuckard, so is White Indian...always?
Epi, I refuse to believe your radical troll singularity theorym
Think about it. Two trolls who use the same disconnected logic, are obsessive to the point of psychosis, just educated enough in libertarianism to be able to throw out some buzz words and names, and has really lame insults and come backs, has to be the same dumb cunt.
Also, they both use the "anon pussy" technique of changing their handle.
Banjos, woman who hate themselves make me sad.
You make very sad
All real women always agree with me!
Is this for Berman, sage's list, or the smell of rather's rancid cunt all over this thread?
Real women love their cunts, and their sisters
Only I am qualified to pronounce women's legitimacy.
It is absolutely her; as Banjos says, all you have to do is pay attention to posting patterns. When rectal is absent, so is White Indian.
This isn't rocket science.

Unable to counter White Indian's challenges and debunking of Libertarian contradictions, a diversion to obsession over who's who is attempted.
It's sad. So very sad.
He is my Sgt. Price
I'm sure of it. He's on every White Indian thread, and accuses me of a style that quite frankly, I don't understand. I'm not sure what his angle is because I am writing full-time
Actually, I'm well versed in libertarianism, and thus debunk it so easily with clear, precise logic.
You hate that like any Marxist would (whom I can also debunk as easily.)
You can't claim to debunk Marxism, while embracing it at the same time.
Sure they can, that's what all propagandists do.
One minute: WE HATE GOVERNMENT blah blah blah
[Enter the White Indian]
Next Minute: WE NEED GOVERNMENT TO PROTECT OUR blah blah blah blah
Such is the propaganda of those who have a religio-economic faith in "necessary evils."
Sort of like those who think they can conjure an animated dead.
"Limited government" is the libertarian Zombie. Never have seen one, have you?
LOL, I think you need to take your crazy pills. Can I get a copy of the people's dictionary so I know what he hell the words coming out of your mouth mean the next time you change their meaning?
For the record you private property rights is not a statist position. It's a libertarian position held by some libertarians, although some disagree with this. Private property rights is quite libertarian. Gets your nouns straight.
There has never been privation property in land without the State.
Rent-seekers need the State to enforce their trolling for money.
You can't claim to debunk Statism, while embracing it at the same time.
And apparently you can't use the English language, put chairman Maos dictionary down and learn to speak proper English.
I agree, that much stupid would violate the very laws of physics.
Fuck off pee water
You are a POS dipped in urine
Well, logically, I can be either shit or pee. But I can't be both. If you are a writer, ya gotta brush up on logic and insults
You are the chameleon of waste

I'm confused. If someone is pee water, they they are dipped in urine, wouldn't they still be pee water but with a higher concentration of piss?
Bank of America received a $1.9 billion tax refund from the IRS last year, even though it made $4.4 billion in profits
Whar is reason outrage? Whar?
Over the past 5 years, while GE made $26 billion in profits in the U.S., it received a $4.1 billion refund from the IRS.
If only our tax code didn't have a variety of loopholes lobbied from corporations. Also, which CEO is on ObamaKs job council? Oh, right, GE's
HeartWallet-warming stories. Keep 'em coming, Aaron.
Aaron R, you are right in that libertarians attack progressives all day long, and some of them have conservative political alliances but they are a party of 'outside society' .
We don't care for social conservatives, either, rather.
Besides, what is there to say about progressives that is positive?
Exxon made $19 billion in profits in 2009, paid no fed income taxes & received a $156 million rebate from the IRS
Tax favors for wealthy businesses are inevitable in whenever government gets so big that relief from its tax burden becomes worth pursuing.
Money and power will always find each other.
Experience has shown this is true in even the most impoverished societies. Thus, if you want to keep the malign confluence of money and power to a minimum, you should address yourself to reducing the size and power of government.
Aaron, your Team is in charge now. Write your (D) Congresspeople and demand that GE and Exxon pay 101% of their gross in taxes.
is at B of A, should this make me feel good or bad?
Why would anyone be outraged? The law allows for tax carrybacks and carryforwards for corporations and individuals. What they did was perfectly legal.

It is self evident in the letter that the retards in question are politicians. Dipshit.
Totally irrelevant quote, as usual per White Indian.
Of course, a further reading of the letter suggests von Mises is referring to the masses dependent on the welfare state. Not that I totally agree with him, anyway; like I wrote elsewhere, he and Ayn Rand are not my intellectual masters, much less anyone else.
Capitalism and privation property is dependent on State aggression.
Our system of private property in land forces landless men to work for others; to work in factories, stores, and offices, whether they like it or not. wherever access to land is free, men work only to provide what they actually need or desire. Wherever the white man has come in contact with savage cultures this fact becomes apparent. There is for savages in their native state no such sharp distinction between "work" and "not working" as clocks and factory whistles have accustomed the white man to accept. They cannot be made to work regularly at repetitive tasks in which they have no direct interest except by some sort of duress. Disestablishment from land, like slavery, is a form of duress. The white man, where slavery cannot be practiced, has found that he must first disestablish the savages from their land before he can force them to work steadily for him. Once they are disestablished, they are in effect starved into working for him and into working as he directs.

Nope.
The only thing that counts as force is - actual physical force.

That's a great idea, Gilbert. I'm going to get my Top. Men. to look at implementing your plan.
Gilbert, actual physical force is what is used to enforce those abstract lines drawn upon the earth to restrict the free movement of people across the land.
Officer, am I free to gambol about plain and forest?
"Gilbert, actual physical force is what is used to enforce those abstract lines drawn upon the earth to restrict the free movement of people across the land."
Completely irrelevant to the claim made in the post. It said men were FORCED to work for other people.
The ONLY thing that would ever count as forcing someone to work is explicit, direct physical force used to make someone immediately engage in a specific task.
And you aren't the least bit capable of proving the case is otherwise.

No beer either. The other thing consistently overlooked is that four hours of work a day collecting the "ready supply of food" only works in places that don't have a season like winter when there isn't a ready supply of food. Squirrels don't store food for fun and bears don't hibernate because they take propofol. It's a lot of work to store enough food for the winter, not to mention maintaining and heating a shelter.

Why does the NFL still insist on playing a game in the UK?
Because there is a fair amount of demand for tickets, and if they can expand the franchise overseas, they stand to make a fuckton more money.
That's why.
Oh, and after losing the touchdown and not challenging it, there was an immediate interception.
Why the fuck is Whitehurst even being used? He has managed to lose the ball in 20 seconds or less for most of Seattle's possessions.

OMG. Are you really that unself-aware. See, the way the world works is this...when there isn't one central government in control you get plenty of people ruling and forcing their rules on others. This total civil war usually resolves when one of them gets big enough to establish a central government. Government is an emergent property of anarchy.
So... if we keep making government bigger... eventually, nothing bad will ever happen.
Brilliant!
So... if we keep making government bigger... eventually, nothing bad will ever happen.
Brilliant!
No. That is why you want government to have clearly defined & limited powers, and to be rooted in the citizenry. And even then, if the government that is put in place becomes a burden on the citizenry, they should shit can it and institute a new government that more appropriately protects their interests. They'll want to be sure to organize its powers so that it seems likely to them that it will secure their safety and happiness. I mean, once you've set it up and things have been well established, you shouldn't get rid of it for trivial reasons.

A more nuanced completely insane view is that Somalia has been awesome-ized by Anarchism, not Libertarianism. reason.com/blog/show/117519.html.
First of all, we are libertarians, not members of the Libertarian Party.
Second, Somalia is stateless. That does not mean it is an example of libertarianism. The same retarded assertion you keeps copying and pasting has been made by just about every amateur critic of libertarianism, and it has been refuted every time.

Why? There is no claim that Somalia is an example of libertarian society in either of those articles. Only that it is an example of a stateless society.
Just as the US is an example of a society with freedom of speech. Yet I would not call the US "libertarian," since libertarianism involves more than freedom of speech.

I seemed to have missed the gamboling meme.
Why agriculture? In retrospect, it seems odd that it has taken archaeologists and paleontologists so long to begin answering this essential question of human history. What we are today?civilized, city-bound, overpopulated, literate, organized, wealthy, poor, diseased, conquered, and conquerors?is all rooted in the domestication of plants and animals. The advent of farming re-formed humanity. In fact, the question "Why agriculture?" is so vital, lies so close to the core of our being that it probably cannot be asked or answered with complete honesty. Better to settle for calming explanations of the sort Stephen Jay Gould calls "just-so stories."
In this case, the core of such stories is the assumption that agriculture was better for us. Its surplus of food allowed the leisure and specialization that made civilization. Its bounty settled, refined, and educated us, freed us from the nasty, mean, brutish, and short existence that was the state of nature, freed us from hunting and gathering. Yet when we think about agriculture, and some people have thought intently about it, the pat story glosses over a fundamental point. This just-so story had to have sprung from the imagination of someone who never hoed a row of corn or rose with the sun for a lifetime of milking cows. Gamboling about plain and forest, hunting and living off the land is fun. Farming is not. That's all one needs to know to begin a rethinking of the issue. The fundamental question was properly phrased by Colin Tudge of the London School of Economics: "The real problem, then, is not to explain why some people were slow to adopt agriculture but why anybody took it up at all."
~Richard Manning

Agriculture wasn't begun because of hunger; that myth has been long debunked with the last several decades of anthropology, ethnology, and archeology.
Better start reading instead of parroting shit.
But for them: "Netmaking is virtually a full-time occupation... in which both men and women indulge whenever they have both the spare time and the inclination." [14] The Siriono, who lived in a tropical forest in Bolivia, were not pure hunter-gatherers, since they did plant crops to a limited extent at certain times of the year. But they lived mostly by hunting and gathering. [15] According to the anthropologist Holmberg, Siriono men hunted, on average, every other day. [16] They started at daybreak and returned to camp typically between four and six o'clock in the afternoon. [17] This makes on average at least eleven hours of hunting, and at three and a half days a week it comes to 38 hours of hunting per week, at the least. Since the men also did a significant amount of work on days when they did not hunt, [18] their work-week, averaged over the year, had to be far more than 40 hours. And but little of this was agricultural work. [19] Actually, Holmberg estimated that the Siriono spent about half their waking time in hunting and foraging, [20] which would mean roughly 56 hours a week in these activities alone. With other work included, the work-week would have had to be far more than 60 hours. The Siriono woman "enjoys even less respite from labor than her husband", and "the obligation of bringing her children to maturity leaves little time for rest." [21] Holmberg's book contains many other indications of how hard the Siriono had to work. [22]"

Earlier conclusions about life span have also been revised. Although eyewitness Spanish accounts of the sixteenth century tell of Florida Indian fathers seeing their fifth generation before passing away, it was long believed that primitive people died in their 30s and 40s. Robson, Boyden and others have dispelled the confusion of longevity with life expectancy and discovered that current hunter-gatherers, barring injury and severe infection, often outlive their civilized contemporaries. During the industrial age only fairly recently did life span lengthen for the species, and it is now widely recognized that in Paleolithic times humans were long-lived animals, once certain risks were passed. DeVries is correct in his judgment that duration of life dropped sharply upon contact with civilization.

Cuba average life expectancy: 78.9 years
Sweden average life expectancy: 81.4 years
Sweden's economic system is not much different from the US. It's their welfare and taxation system that's different.
Okay, I coulda sworn it was .1 years' difference, but is it REALLY worth trading .2 years for virtually all personal liberty?
You go first, White Indian. In fact, we'll pack a bag for you and set you afloat for Cuba. Get crackin'!
We don't to set him afloat. He'll just sit on the beach and wait for a piece of driftwood to present itself for his use.
I dunno, sloopy. Sounds like a bit of a gambol.
Also wouldn't know what to do with driftwood anyways.
Swedish life expectancy was higher by the exact same amount for years before they went semi-socialist. And swedes who live in the us have same lefe expectancy as swedes who live in sweeden. Its genetic.
And Cubas numbers are cooked. Duh.
That would be too much work for White Idiot, sloopy.
"Libertarian-type authors generally hold US capitalism up as an example of the ideal society"
LOL. OK buddy, if you want to make shit up, that's fine.
Shhhhh.... his stealth stawman crashed, look away!
My secret wisd is to do a round of LSD and ecstasy with Natlie Portman. Then go to a rave. Then, after three or 4 hours, retire to a nice privated king size bed with lots of pillow and lubricant with said Ms. Portman. I find that wish very life affirming.
African pygmies do that all the time.
"Try to imagine a way of life where you do a round of LSD and ecstasy with Natlie Portman. Then go to a rave. Then, after three or 4 hours, retire to a nice privated king size bed with lots of pillow and lubricant with said Ms. Portman.

Libertarians don't tell you what happiness should mean.
Libertarians love the state and slavery. My computers copy-paste functions are no longer working because of excessive use, so I can't explain why.
African pygmies rule!
Hidalgo: Libertarians don't tell you what happiness should mean.
Two things, it appears, are needed to increase the supply of happiness: freedom and money.

LULZ. You're always good for laugh, Hidalgo. Ever consider that you're totally insane?
Discussing how to increase the supply of happiness is not defining happiness. I know African pygmies can't read, but that doesn't excuse you from doing it.
Egalitarians/socialists/Democrats sure bitch about largesse, yet they put a lot of faith in Bill Gates and Herr Soros.
dumbass. Jesus this is getting easier and easier.
Also, what liberal site linked to us? Tons of trolls
You mean one troll posting under different names.
You must stop your stubborn refusal to understand that it's all rectal. She's in her manic phase and this is what happens then.
I hate to believe that mongoloid could be that coherent, but it admits it below. Maube multiple personality disorder?
I'm thinking extra chromosome.
MEGATRON for 6!!!!!
Also, what liberal site linked to us?
To you liberals coming from elsewhere, "fuck you." Now go home.
After some thought I've decided SugarFree is right. They're never gonna ban rectal so long as you guys keep responding to it.
What I don't understand is why anyone would respond to the retard, other than to mock or insult. What do they expect to gain?
Yes Sgt. epi Price.. One day, my Sgt. J.J. Sefton will burst some bubbles....it will be interesting to see who is smart here
some squish mitten time?
I thought you were more of a "Peanut buttah Tulpa time...Peanut buttah Tulpa, Peanut buttah Tulpa with a basball bat" Rule 34 kinda guy. Your Shit Flopney fetish notwithstanding.
Whatever ambols your gambols, Tulpa.
Peanut butter only complements women, it does not replace them.
So many ways to dissect this one, Tulpa, and so little time. Far be it from me to go Full Metal Glibertarian and mock your Jif-tafarianism.
It still doesn't explain your Grand Coiffed Tarkin fetish, my friend.
I'm way more courteous than the foul mouthed regulars here.
I challenge the religio-economic dogmas of the libertarian faith.
I am way more consistent and non-contradictory regarding the non-aggression principle and freedom of movement across the Land.
I am way more consistent in advocating Non-State society.
I have good empirical data in scholarly references.
What's not to love? That I'm right and you're confused and dazed? LOL
I'm way more delusional too!
...to Libertarians.
Because the truth is inconvenient when you're trying to perpetuate the religio-economic scam of government for me, but not for thee.
Scholarly data created by biased people. Look they only work for four hours a day (excluding the gathering of firewood, butchering and preparation of meats and hides, child-rearing, net-making, etc.) Utopia!
Well they only work 4 hours a day, but the other 99% of the village puts in a double shift. Some are more pygmie than others.
And, if they're not tired from all that, there's free love afterwards!
How can anyone possibly turn neo-primitivism down?
libertarian told me so
can you just tell them I'm not you...pretty please?
I don't think they are ever gonna ban rectal or Douche Indian (assuming they are not the same person). If Reason didn't ban Warty after that whole sheepfucker escapade, I can't imagine them banning Rectal.
Warty made one (outstanding) comment that ballooned into hillarity, despite the idiot lawyer getting all butt hurt. Warty also has something to say now and then. On the other hand, rectal posts the same tired crap again and again and again despite being refuted a thousand times over.
It is pretty hilarious watching her deny being White Indian in one post and admitting it in another. Schizophrenia sure is funny.
Hey, maybe it's Rosie O'Donnell?
She's fat enough, that's for sure.
Fat, diseased, ugly, dumb as a rock, and incapable of shutting up.
The combination of retardation and bipolar disorder is particularly brutal.
Do you think she eats a lot of paste? I'd bet on it. Used cat litter too.
I'm not taking that bet. But I would add boogers to its menu.
Scabs as well. Never forget the scabs. Of which she has many, as she...itches a lot, and scratches a lot.
What about jars of urine? Nail clippings?
Fuller Torrey, M.D. states on page 75 that schizophrenia does appear to be a disease of civilization.
Schizophrenia and Civilization

"The myth of progress may not yet be dead, but it is dying. In its place another myth has been growing up, a myth that has been promoted especially by the anarchoprimitivists, though it is widespread in other quarters as well. According to this myth, prior to the advent of civilization no one ever had to work, people just plucked their food from the trees and popped it into their mouths and spent the rest of their time playing ring-around-the-rosie with the flower children. Men and women were equal, there was no disease, no competition, no racism, sexism or homophobia, people lived in harmony with the animals and all was love, sharing and cooperation.
Admittedly, the foregoing is a caricature of the anarchoprimitivists' vision. Most of them ? I hope ? are not quite as far out of touch with reality as that. They nevertheless are pretty far out of touch with it, and it's high time for someone to debunk their myth. Because that is the purpose of this article, I will say little here about the positive aspects of primitive societies. I do want to make clear, however, that one can truthfully say about such societies a great deal that is positive. In other words, the anarchoprimitivist myth is not one hundred percent myth; it does include some elements of reality."

FAIL. The etiology of schizophrenia has never been qualified nor quantified; most of the current theories WRT the psychopathology of schizophrenia have little in common in both the nature and nurture aspect, save temporal lobe anomalies and disruption of dopamine reuptake mechanisms and these are far from conclusive. Dr. Torrey is shooting blanks in the dark.
I'm so obscure, even my own family didn't know I existed!
Warty, should pay their legal bill.
It's called responsibility in the real world
you aren't really a scientist, are you?
You must stop your stubborn refusal to understand that it's all rectal.
I hate to give her that much credit.
Me no likum rectal either.
In the post just above, she just admitted to being White Indian. Of course she's the retarded troll. It's what she is.
In the post just above, Episiarch just admitted to being both rectal and White Indian. Episiarch is what it is, the sock puppet master.
The feigned obsession is a smokescreen.
I am not epi...call me anything but!
She finally admitted it?
Yes, she admitted it. But it's not like we needed her confirmation to know it's her.
WTF< John!!!!

Then think of a WW2 prison camp: who keeps accusing me of being the traitor, and acts like he was a victim of the bad guys girl?
Are you sure it was her and not a spoof?
Yes. Do you doubt it, Commodore?
FOR FuCK SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shit, yesterday was the 200th birthday of Franz Liszt. Les Preludes anyone?
So it was! Perhaps a viewing or re-viewing of Lisztomania is in order.
I highly recommend it, as I am big fan If Ken Russell's work.
Franz had Kieth Richards beat by about 150 years.

I hear Warty was the stunt cock.
Piffle! I feel so...dirty and filthy now.
I think the Republicans have played a big part in helping to perpetuate this myth. When they spew out rhetoric about how they are fighting for limited government and then make deals like the debt limit one they are setting the bar very low. Just look at the presidential field, they are all completely unserious about addressing our spending problems. It allows the Democrats to set that as the bar for cutting spending and make the claims above. I think Romney becoming the president will destroy any movement we might have in the right direction.
"I am super super SUPER cereal."
Why does mike martz hate running?
Philip Rivers didn't know it was 4th down? LOL
An increase of nine hundred billion dollars a year. To put that into perspective, that is more spending each year than the entire eight years of the Iraq war cost. A new Iraq war every year.
How can people like Krugman and Delong be this disingenuous?
I'm sorry, but this is terribly off topic. Is Paul Krugman free to gambol about the plain and forest?
Sure he is. They repealed the laws against sodomy and that kind of thing back in the 80s.
STEVE SMITH LOVE CUT OF KRUGMAN'S JIB! KRUGMAN AND STEVE RAPE PLAIN FORESTS!

What in the hell was Fox thinking when they decided to broadcast the Shehawks-Shitcolors as the only 1PM game in Pittsburgh?
and it was such an exciting game. It doesn't get any better than six to three.
Did you see the offensive possession time comparison? I think it was about 12 minutes Seattle, 40 minutes Browns.
The Seahawks are just so, so terrible. Whitehurst needs to be benched for the rest of time.
What is more remarkable about that is the Seahawks. How the hell do you have the ball for 40 minutes and score only six points?
2 blocked Field Goals
Well, it is the Browns. Also, the Seahawks defense actually played quite well. It was their offense that was abysmal.
I'm just curious what you have to send to Warty now since his team won. A jar of salmon?
Warty doesn't eat people food.
Besides, was that a "victory" for the Browns? It was more of a "we should have lost, except it was against the Seahawks" moment.
A pyrite victory, as we scholars call it.
You wouldn't have wanted to watch that great San Diago Jets game anyway. Better to watch a low scoring game between two also rans than a high scoring exciting game between two good teams.
I wanted to watch the Chiefs.
They are playing now
Don't you want to watch me?
I wanted both the Jets and Mike Francesa to lose.
Here's the coverage Maps.
Aren't the zones set by the NFL?

Steelers-Cardinals is on NBC this week, so I don't know why they're listed for us. This week we have no games on CBS.
Never mind. My cable guide is screwed up, the Steelers are on right now.
Why the hell does Austin get a different game than the rest of the state?
Austin is weird.
Fox is punishing them for reasons deep and inscrutable.
Mike Judge.
Colt McCoy.
Shehawks
The proper nomenclature is the Suckhawks.
Why does the Vice President have a "chief economist", which would imply lesser economists, on staff? Can he not read the reports the President gets? Is he unable to sit in on the briefings? Is he formulating his own policy behind Obama's back?
The VPOTUS' chief economist is analyzing the economy of the reality Joe Biden perceives, which has little to do with us.
I think rectal, White Indian, and Aaron are all the same troller.
Discuss.
rectal and WI, yes. Aaron R and Sam B, yes. But rectal/WI and AaronR/SamB I'm not so sure about. I mean, I know rectal is huge, but how many personalities can it fit in there?
I need a fucking chart; what part of 'I always use my fucking handle do you not get?'; and half the time Sgt. epi Price spoofing me
What's hilarious are her denials. I mean, really? Really?
Also hilarious is how she loves to talk to herself with different handles. I can't even imagine how retarded she sounds when she's muttering to herself on the bus.
I think I found her photo.
"I dropped my smartphone in the mayo"
Nevermind. It turns out that's her hotter sister.
If that were a peanut butter jar I'd hit it.
"You got your Reese's in my mayo!"
That's before she gained weight.
"I don't care if it was the gold pen your father got for 50 years of service, I'm not going after it."
My first Reasonable-induced vomiting episode. Lovely.
I'm concerned that rather is much like the bug lady from FO3.

Just an observation...from the perspective of this thread taken in isolation...it would seem Episiarch is the most likely candidate to be "White Indian."
Not that I am gonna do a careful analysis of the white indian posts...but the narcissism has a very Episiarchian feel to it. I would guess a careful cluster analysis of posting patterns here would find two things. 1) Episiarch posts on every thread where White Indian appears in any guise. 2) That Episiarch posts about rather outnumber rather's own posts nearly 2 to one.
Come on NM, are you serious right now?
It is far too trivial a topic for me to say I am "serious" but he's as likely a candidate as any...if you believe it is a a sock puppet.
Nah. It doesn't wash. Episiarch has a better sense of humor than that.
That would mean rectal read some crappy anthro books. I don't think it reads.
He's more consistent with the Non-Aggression principle and Non-State societies. Why do you call him names? Is it because you're a Statist at heart?
Oh, isn't it darling? White Indian's gone and got himself a blindingly obvious sock-puppet!
Why call WI a troll? Troll's don't make sockpuppets and post the same text over and over again. Refuted!
This name was created solely to back up White Indian and create the illusion that he has support here on this forum.
In other words, sockpuppet.
Your sarcasm meter is due for a tuneup buddy
Sorry. My mistake.
Refering to ones' self in the third person, WI?
You've jumped more than one shark, pal.
Here's something I don't understand about government spending - why is my Federal tax bill 10 times larger than the one for my state?
If I'm supposed to be grateful for all the things government provides me through taxes, well roads, police, fire and emergency services, city planning, schools, welfare and unemployment insurance are all provided at the state or lower levels of government.
What do I get directly from the Feds? Foreign diplomacy and national defence. Every other "service" the federal government provides is just taking money from me and funneling it back into my state where it has to trickle back down to the actual service providers.
If we need to get rid of austerity why don't we start with changing this so that the money we're already spending is going straight to the places that will be using it rather than letting multiple organizations handle it and take their cut.
Because the feds need to wet their beaks.
why is my Federal tax bill 10 times larger than the one for my state?
Easy peasy, Aga: Both state and local government don't want to be totally on the hook for making those budgetary decisions, particularly being forced to prioritize which services are paramount, and the inevitable negative fallout when some services are scaled back (read: being thrown out of office).
As RC Dean has stated:
If everything is a priority, then nothing is a priority
And Bob's your uncle!
If I'm supposed to be grateful for all the things government provides me through taxes, well roads, police, fire and emergency services, city planning, schools, welfare and unemployment insurance are all provided at the state or lower levels of government.
I'm not sure exactly when the Feds decided it was their imprimatur to both subsidize and de facto assume more and more responsibility for your observations and concerns. Personally, I think most of it can be traced back to LBJ and his "Great Society" claptrap.
I'll also throw Reagan under the bus since he signed the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1986 in which EMTALA was a key provision and is affecting EMS services today with more and more local govs consolidating private EMS and public FD services. And not coincidentally, this consolidation has seen proliferation under the Stimulus Act (CRIA).
Or to Occam this down further: Voters want services with the illusion of lower local taxes, yet the costs are subsidized nationally.
Trouble in paradise. Apparently, the 99% has spawned a 1% of its own.
'F**k Finance. I hope Mayor Bloomberg gets an injunction and demands to see the movement's books,' Bryan Smith, a 45-year-old protester who joined OWS from Los Angeles three weeks ago told the New York Post.
'We need to know how much money we really have and where it's going.'
--------
One rainy night last week, someone stabbed holes in many of the protesters' drums with a knife, Elijah Moses told the New York Post.
The 19-year-old, a founder of the Pulse Working Group, asked for $8,000 to replace the drums, and build a small shed to lock them up.
'They said no - they turned us down. I'm really frustrated,' he told the paper.
Bummer, brah.
Wreckers, kulaks, etc.
Methinks they are ripe (ha!) for a good, old-fashioned beer putch. Will they also be passing out Little Red Books, too?
And how by how many factors will they keep reducing this 1% business?
'They said no - they turned us down. I'm really frustrated,' he told the paper pauper.
Corrected for posterity.
The 19-year-old, a founder of the Pulse Working Group, asked for $8,000 to replace the drums, and build a small shed to lock them up.
Better make sure you get every last cent, too. The heartbeat of the movement will flatline without its drum circle.
Apparently these people were never required to read during their formal education. I can think of any number of books out of several genres that would've prepared them for how human beings behave in such circumstances.
Why White Indian is a troll.
1: White Indian does not understand what he is arguing for.
How do we know this? He has not argued for an agriculture-and-civilisation-free society in his own words. All he has done is repeat what some other "intellectual" has already said. If you can't argue for something in your own words, then as far as I'm concerned you don't understand one iota of what you're talking about.
You are nothing more than a parrot or a tape recorder, and neither of these is known for understanding whatever it repeats back to the listener.
2: White Indian does not understand what it is he is arguing against.
If you're going to argue against libertarianism with libertarians you'd do well to understand what libertarianism is and what it is not.
What White Indian has done has created a caricature of what he thinks libertarianism is, and as a result has created himself a straw man political to argue with and beat up.
Failure to understand what it is you are arguing for and what it is you are arguing against makes you a troll?especially if you are not interested at all in learning anything from those you think you're the intellectual superior to.
White Indian?
You are an idiot.
You are a troll.
You are a one-person parade of stupid who doesn't know when to stop marching.
And that is why you suck.
And it's rectal. Which is the most damning thing of all.
Ovation, JMW. I was briefly willing to give WI the benefit of the doubt, but WI almost never responded to the most cogent arguments that refute its worldview. So now I write it off as a troll.
You are an idiot.
That's one of several "cogent arguments" that just don't seem to be so effective, except to libertarians.
LOL
Libertarians can't even decide from moment to moment if they are for the State or against it.
We're anti-STATE!
WE NEED GOVERMENT to protect...blah blah blah.
Which way do you roll, JMW?
OK, a minute is up. Did it change?
LOL
It's Carson Palmer time
Well, I NEVER!
The California High Speed Rail Authority, the agency trying to build the bullet train, couldn't have found a more politically sensitive target. The school is where House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Bakersfield), one of the project's staunchest opponents in Congress, sends his children.
Critics say such blunders are routine for the rail authority. Across the length of the Central Valley, the bullet train as drawn would destroy churches, schools, private homes, shelters for low-income people, animal processing plants, warehouses, banks, medical offices, auto parts stores, factories, farm fields, mobile home parks, apartment buildings and much else as it cuts through the richest agricultural belt in the nation and through some of the most depressed cities in California.
Although the potential for such disruption was understood in general terms when the project began 15 years ago, the reality is only now beginning to sink in.
The potential economic, cultural and political damage may be an omen. The Central Valley, where construction could start next year, is expected to be the politically easiest and lowest-cost segment of the system, designed to move millions of passengers between Southern California and the Bay Area. The project's effects could be even greater in more populous places like Silicon Valley, Orange County, Burbank, San Francisco and downtown Los Angeles.
How can this be? Bullet trains are awesome. I'm sure the limousine liberals in Palo Alto will be falling all over themselves to lure this technological marvel to their town.
15 years ago? How much progress have they made so far? By the time they actually finish it, we'll have teleportation machines.

I'd rather scoop my own brains out with a melon baller than read the Kos Kids Koffee Klatch.
I'd rather scoop my own brains out with a melon baller than expose myself to different opinions
FTFY
Nice try, White Idiot.
I expose my mind to many alternative ideas. What YOU want, is for me to embrace them. Not the same thing.
So apparently the GOP Presidential primary candidates are outraged - just OUTRAGED - that the Obama administration is honoring the Bush administration's agreement to withdraw troops from Iraq by the end of this year.
Apparently we should have just forced the Iraqi government to let us stay instead.
It's nice to say that the same collection of scumbags that wanted to talk about the "honor" of the United States in 2008 now want us to crush a foreign government that has the temerity to expect that we'll honor our agreement with them.
Nice definition of honor they've got there.
Which candidates?
That would be your dreamsicle, The Well-Coiffed Flop.
Only Romney could succeed in making Obama look like the sensible one. God what a fuckhead.
He's not perfect by any means, and of course there's little the next prez will have to do with Iraq.
I'd prefer to live in a world where Ron Paul or maybe Gary Johnson could win, but my mother squirted me out into this one instead.
Stockholm Syndrome does not become you, Tulpa. In terms of proposing big government solutions to societal ills, there is little to no discernable difference between Obamney and, well, Obamney. Remember now, he went to the left of Teddy Kennedy when campaigning against Ted's Senate Seat and if you think for one banana laden second that those core beliefs have changed one iota, then you truly are easily bedazzled by the Grand Coif just on so-called "electability" because his idea of big government is merely less in degree than The Zero.
Austerity under an Obamney presidency, don't make me laugh.
He's not perfect by any means, and of course there's little the next prez will have to do with Iraq.
That's true, but the statement he made belies a disconnect and exposes his big government proclivities and hawkishly wastrel tendencies, which strengthens inductively arguments against his so-called "fiscal conservative" platform.
Escape from the hostage situation means moving from the US. Got any suggestions for liberty-loving, developed countries out there? The alternative to Stockholm syndrome is either fleeing the country or learned helplessness. The "principled non voters" and LP voters are examples of the latter; not something I strive to.
That "dimes worth of difference" crap convinced me not to support McCain back in 2008. Never again. Nothing is worse than BO. Nothing.
Never say never, Mr. Tulpa. You know things could always be worse.
Nothing is worse than BO. Nothing.
Wrong.
Mitack Obamaney doing the same shit, without any opposition from his right would be much, much worse.
Ah but the beauty of our system is that Team Blue will immediately leap into the role of critic, conveniently forgetting how much they adored that position when it was their team in power.
if you think for one banana laden second that those core beliefs have changed one iota
He doesn't have any core beliefs, he just does whatever necessary to get elected and keep in the good graces of the people who elected him. (Do recall that in former days he was running in Massachusetts, not Utah.) That means he can be controlled.
He doesn't have any core beliefs
Which is precisely why I believe he is way more dangerous than the current occupant of the WH, and that is saying a lot. There are plenty of perfectly good flights of stairs and stairwells lamenting the lack of a high velocity face plant from The Flop.
(Do recall that in former days he was running in Massachusetts, not Utah.)
Huntsman's healthcare chicanery is virtually indistinguishable, not to mention most of his other record, from Flop's sans that pesky mandate so that "He was governing in a Blue State," trope doesn't wash. Huntsman's at least honest and upfront with his big government stances. The Flop's argument that he offered a smaller and different species of excrement sandwich than what the MassHole legislature wanted doesn't change the fact that they got an excrement sandwich, and that was before Deval Patrick got his grubby mitts (ha!) on an already deeply flawed, heavily federally subsidized plan.
That means he can be controlled.
Control is the ultimate myth. You mean he can be influenced, which requires willingness on his part, which I do not believe he possesses. Give him and a moreso Establishment TEAM RED Congress as opposed to a Congress with more TEA party legislators will make GWB's tenure and most likely The Zero's look like pikers.
No way he would be worse than BO. BO, Pelosi, and Reid are everything you accuse him of being and more.
And of course the bottom line is, you're not offering any plausible alternatives, just complaining. Ron Paul is not going to win; neither the GOP nor the US population in general is buying what he's selling.
No way he would be worse than BO.
I'm not convinced that's true. Pelosi, Boehner, no difference besides plumbing, and that one is also open for debate.
Reid truly is an interesting bag of shit, but he would have no problems with a Flopney in the WH, assuming Reid maintains Senate majority leadership.
And of course the bottom line is, you're not offering any plausible alternatives, just complaining.
I sent money to both Cain and Paul; they are plausible alternatives and I resent this notion of Flopney inevitability. I hope they stay in the race as long as possible, if nothing else to influence the debate and expose The Flop's numerous inconsistencies, something MoneyBags Perry's media campaign is doing.
Ron Paul is not going to win; neither the GOP nor the US population in general is buying what he's selling.
That's probably true, but I do believe the "Anybody but Flopney" contingent will cling to the bitter end. I personally am an "Anybody But Romney" first and "Anybody But Obama" second.
If worse comes to worse, medical tourism is burgeoning in NZ and India and holders of a US medical license are looked upon quite favorably.
Maybe you should teach Physics and Linear algebra and number theory in New Delhi.
get some tannerite and find your local alphabet soup branch....
America expects every citizen to do their duty.
And I'm not sure where you're going with the Huntsman angle. The fact that Huntsman tried to sell a similar plan in Utah only shows that Huntsman really believes in the shit, not that Romney does.
That's like saying that because some reprobate sells condoms in a church, that means the guy selling them in a bar parking lot must be a scumbag.
That's like saying that because some reprobate sells condoms in a church, that means the guy selling them in a bar parking lot must be a scumbag.
If the condoms are past expiration date and full of holes, it doesn't matter where they are sold, be it a RED state or BLUE. That's the point, Tulpa.
One huckster believes the swill he's shoveling as much as the other guy, but the former is openly honest about it as opposed to the deceitful, duplicitous, donkey punching, douche swilling, defecated pile of dreadfully diseased dromedary dicks, since they are both selling defective condoms.
There once was a jazz guitarist (Howard Roberts, I believe) who said he would put on records of Buckminster Foley lectures and improv to them because of their rhythm, beauty and tempo was like a music from an alien civilization, and it would inspire him to riff in new ways. That's kind of how I felt after reading Groovus above.
... who said he would put on records of Buckminster Foley lectures and improv to them because of their rhythm, beauty and tempo was like a music from an alien civilization, and it would inspire him to riff in new ways.
What? No love for MY lectures? I never get any respect.
Ha!
Weird thing. I corrected a spellcheck override on Buckminster and Fuller, and it still snuck in Foley.
Christ, that's a blindingly stupid statement from Romney. Three years based on an agreed-upon SOFA isn't long enough for an orderly withdrawal?
I'd hate to see what kind of crap he'd throw us into during his term.
Romney just sounds ignorant here. He's apparently completely unaware that the military has been preparing to leave by the end of the year for a very long time. Likewise, the Department of State has been preparing to take over for a very long time.
But Art, he's so smart, polished, nay, dreamy and the only candidate fit to lead, since just about every other candidate is considered a foreign policy dunce.
Like or not, The Zero is looking competent here, albeit in a falling bass-ackward way.
If you haven't noticed Art, I completely, bone-crushingly detest Flopney.
I don't blame you at all, GM. Romney and Santorum are the two candidates from the GOP field that I simply would not vote for. Romney's comments on this matter pretty much seal my distaste for him.
Maybe?
Maybe this is all really about disappointment. I spoke to a young woman who had clearly bathed more recently than most. I asked her why she was at OccupySF. She told me she'd done all the right things. Studied hard. Graduated college. (She was an art major.) And now she can't get a job. It didn't matter. It's all messed up. She was lied to.
Of course she was. She's a member of the Trophy Generation. Win or lose, you get a trophy.
"WHERE'S MY FUCKING PONY?"
Hard to reconcile "done all the fight things" and "she was an art major."
She told me she'd done all the right things. Studied hard. Graduated college. (She was an art major.) And now she can't get a job. It didn't matter. It's all messed up. She was lied to.
Yeah, you were lied to. Most Phaggot Striver Poors are.
Even though I was an art major also, I agree with this.
Billy Jack: Bernard, I want you to know... that I try. When Jean and the kids at the school tell me that I'm supposed to control my violent temper, and be passive and nonviolent like they are, I try. I really try. Though when I see this girl... of such a beautiful spirit... so degraded... and this boy... that I love... sprawled out by this big ape here... and this little girl, who is so special to us we call her "God's little gift of sunshine"... and I think of the number of years that she's going to have to carry in her memory... the savagery of this idiotic moment of yours... I just go BERSERK!
-- Billy Jack
WI is Tom Laughlin?
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.
Pop culture reference...is that you Epi?
Alright, 'twas me.
For that post only, so don't mistake this for a broader confession! The first time I saw the name White Indian, Billy Jack sprung to my mind. Meant to do it weeks ago.
This one is for MNG.

Seriously, click on it. You'll love it.
Another thread ruined by White Indian and company.
For Christ's sake Matt (or Nick or whoever): I know that HR's free-for-all feel is part of the appeal, but posting walls of irrelevant text under random names really needs to be bannable.
Yeah this quasi-anarchy thing isn't all it's cracked up to be.
What part of libertarianism says that a private website has to tolerate trolls?
What part of intelligence says to feed them?
this troll doesn't need food. food is an evil invention of civilization.
Q: How Can Spending 30 Percent More Be "Austerity"?
Easy. The true austerity kicks in later. If you want austerity faster, spend more than 30 percent more.
Saints are wrecking the Colts. I hate the Colts so much, although in recent years the Jets have reclaimed their rightful place at the center of my homeric hatred.
For me, I've grown weary of hating the Eagles, now they are just an object of scorn. My new hatred -- The Brancos. His first start and I'm already tired of Tim Tebow. He barely squeaked by Miami and the sports pundits are shitting themselves while straining to sing his praises. This time next year, mark my words, he will not be a starter.
Broncos! Damn it, Spell checker, you are suppose to save me from myself.
That would be the team name in the age of Idiocracy. You are just ahead of the curve.
Thanks!
I want to see Tebow succeed but I agree that today was not a good showing for him.
I want to see him succeed as a motivational speaker and Subway pitchman to replace his fellow hasbeen/neverwas Reggie Bush. NFL QB ain't in the cards, I'm afraid.
I don't think that sloppy, seat of the pants style of his can be unlearned. John Fox has another Jake Delhomme on his hands but without JD's massive forward arm motion attack.
Let's see how he fares with his new friends Kyle and Ndamakong next week.
And it doesn't get any easier from there. They are all lined up thinking, 'come on, Tebow, run, Tebow, run! Just try that college shit in MY lane.'
Suh is becoming more and more a thug. Did you see him taunting an injured Matt Ryan?
I was relieved when the Colts got on the board at least. For the first quarter and a half Saints averaged a TD every 5 minutes. I don't know if I have the heart to watch the 2nd half of the slaughter.
This is getting a bit less satisfying now that it's 54-7. I guess I hated Manning more than the Colts.
Ouch. TD offa the interception. And they've got at least one more in them for sure. Trainwreck. Can't. Look. Away.
It's so beautiful. I take back what I just said.
Who booked the Colts? I wanted the Packers.
Get me the 67 Packers!
Reminded me a bit of the Oregon-Colorado game - where the Buffs only score was the Duck punt returner insanely running back into his end zone. (45-2)
I'm sick of hearing the phrase "Revis Island".
I want that sonofabitch to have to switch jerseys with Quentin Jammer - and let's see how much shit he gets away with. Yeah, the Chargers deserved to lose, but OMFG what was the ref looking at?
It could be worse. If you're in the New York media market, you get both the Jets fans and the gratuitously nasty Jets haters, which prevents any sane conversation.
I hate the Colts so much, although in recent years the Jets have reclaimed their rightful place at the center of my homeric hatred.
You'll hate them even more when you realize that Polian's having them tank the season for their shot at the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes.
They still have to beat the Dolphins for that.
I'm pulling for the Dolpins to go 0-16 so that all the shit about their other perfect season will die.
Root for the Packers.
I for one would love to see a shot of a sour-faced Mercury Morris holding a bottle of champagne with the cork still in it on February 5.
Wait, how many teams are tanking simultaneously?
Sadly, if more than one of them wind up at 0-16, they have to hope for their scheduled opponents to tank also.
I'm making myself eligible for the CFL draft first.

I really liked this article.
Over 400 comments.
I thought maybe this time there would be something to learn/read about.
Personally, I generally love off-topic comments....but this Reason troll who inexplicably gets generous amounts of attention is boring and tiresome.
I mean really...every fucking thread?
Ahhh. I feel better now. Carry on...
(On the upside, it only took about 10 minutes to scroll through 400+ comments)
I'm with ya. The only reasonable (drink!) policy is ignore, ignore, ignore. I really can't imagine how they haven't banned all its available IP addresses yet.
They tolerate trolls because they hate us. Or at least they hate you. I'm betting this is your fault.
Did you enjoy the Browns limping to an impotent victory over the weakass Seahawks? You're Captain Cleveland, aren't you? Nice moves.
In the near future, "You lost to Colt McCoy" will be the worst imaginable football insult. And I'm the Bone Lady, retard.
I did revel in the repeated sackings of lil' babyface Colty. He'll probably be ready to start shaving any day now.
I don't understand why Colt seems to be regressing, but yes... .500 ball!
"The only reasonable (drink!) policy is ignore, ignore, ignore."
Food, vermin = vermin shit. Do NOT feed.
Burn it!! BURN IT!!! BUUUUURNNN IT!!!!
Trolls have freedom of speech just like everyone else. Once you start silencing minority viewpoints you've taken the first step to fascism.
Just because people question your beliefs about capitalism and your adherence to the slippery slope fallacy doesn't give you the right to ignore them.
Yes, mustard... even YOU have the right to spew socialist bullshit.
At least you don't do it all the fucking time.
In fact, make it less often.
Oh, and that slope is no fallacy... it may be a shallow slope, but it is a long one.
And you and your Team - with help from the other Team - will do their fuckednest to get us to the end of it.
"doesn't give you the right to ignore them."
So free speech means I have to pay attention to your bullshit?
I think you have more problems than your love of murderous socialism:
You're stupid.
Speech is pointless unless someone listens to it. So when you don't listen to a speaker you are preventing them from having free speech.
So, if someone is talking, and you walk away... you're infringing on their rights.
Got it.
My God, the stOOpid is strong in this one.
"Speech is pointless unless someone listens to it"
Yes it is. And you're a prime example of speech that is pointless. And should be ignored.
His version of the First Amendment sounds like fascism to me.
Fuck off, slaver.
Nice try, fucktard, but only socialists are slavers.
LISTEN TO ME ASSHOLE!!! I DEMAND FREEDOM OF SPEECH, OR ELSE!!!
I'm going to advise my client to keep silent until the trial.
Sincerely,
A.A. Wolk
Standing at his neighbor's door.
Neighbor: Hello.
White Indian: I'm going to use your toilet.
Neighbor: Don't you mean, 'may I use your toilet.'
White Indian: I have The Right to Defecate! You have no say in the matter!
Neighbor: All right, all right. Second door to the right.
White Indian shoves his neighbor aside and proceeds to shit on his living room carpet.
Chris,
WI's 'arguments' have been debunked more times than WI can count.
You might think you're delivering the fatal blow, but WI will ignore any rational argument and respond with totally irrelevant crap.
You haven't done anything of the sort; you've fed vermin. You (and we) will get vermin shit in response.
Every molecule in your body has been eaten and shat out millions of times since life on earth began.
We may be made of star stuff, but the stuff we are made of was shit stuff much more recently.
Why won't people listen to you, sevo?
Jeeze man, enough already. Ignore the goddamn thing already.
Your instincts were correct. This was the fatal blow. From here on end, anything else you hear from him is just a death rattle.
Chris|10.23.11 @ 11:25PM|#
Don't get pissy with me, sevo. I did not in anyway address WI. Like you, I'm commenting on him.
BTW, I've left Hit'n'Run for months at a time before out of despair for it being over run with trolls. I'm the last guy you should be lecturing.
Hold on a damn second . . .
sevo|10.23.11 @ 11:03PM|#
"Speech is pointless unless someone listens to it"
Yes it is. And you're a prime example of speech that is pointless. And should be ignored.
See what you did there, chief? You did what you accused me of doing, but that which I did not.
I demand a full pardon, guv'nah!
You're supposed to demand satisfaction
Libertarians think calling names and howling like baboons is "debunking." Funny stuff here.
If you use Chrome, search Reasonable extension from the Chrome store. Lets you ignore users. Of course when Rectal changes her name constantly it misses a lot, but better than nothing.
I just come here for the articles, so the trolls don't bother me

"And why, when the global evidence clearly indicates that austerity measures will raise unemployment and hinder, not accelerate, growth, do advocates of austerity retain such distinction today?"
History has shown that unrestrained government spending in pursuit of economic growth does no such thing, it is simply a source of corruption and misallocated resources, The government has no driving incentive is politics, not to grow capital, so it's first priority is pay off it's cronies, real economic success is a secondary concern if it exists at all.
"[H]ow, in the midst of a massive unemployment crisis ? when it's painfully obvious that not enough jobs are being created and the public overwhelmingly wants policy-makers to focus on creating them ? did the deficit emerge as the most pressing issue in the country?"
One could ask the same thing about how raising capital gains tax rates became the most important issue for the administration. Especially when they seem to be rightouesly indignabt about the reluctance to make capital investments by the private sector.
"when the global evidence clearly indicates that austerity measures will raise unemployment and hinder, not accelerate, growth"
Don't ya just love how liberals can foretell the future... regular Nostradamuseses, they are.
when the global evidence clearly indicates that austerity measures will raise unemployment and hinder, not accelerate, growth
Girls just wanna have fun.
Hard to believe.
Four or five supposedly intelligent people feed the vermin and then gripe about vermin shit.
Is this a mystery?
Now you know how people who want to use a city park feel when they see homeless-feeders.
And law-abiding drivers when they see bad drivers get away with running red lights because there are no cameras.
Nope.
I don't encourage them.
We vermin have the right to say whatever stupid shit we want!
You're an angry little man. Why?
Because you fucking capitalists piss me off, that's why.
I was talking to sevo
Oh, a fellow traveler! Wanna fuck?
How ya doin'?
Want to make it a three-way, comrades?
Don't get pissy with me, sevo. I did not in anyway address WI. Like you, I'm commenting on him.
Do NOT feed vermin!
But the book says "TO SERVE VERMIN"....
I think sevo has anger management issues.
If people ignore what you're saying, they're infringing on your right to speak.
So... what are you wearing, Grant?
sevo doesn't realize that a comment like
Don't feed the vermin will sustain your average troll for about 16 posts.
Haven't waded through 500+ comments yet so maybe someone's noted this, but Ari Berman looks more like Sarek than Spock. (Although not really a Trekkie [No really], I am a fan.)
NERD
I'm gonna need you tire up the chopper and take me to Brandenburg, pronto.
[smacks the language chip in the back of his skull a few times]
Fire up the chopper, get me to Brandenburg.
Look, there's NO WAY.. NOPE, I'm not cleaning this mess up even if you pay me overtime.
Not going to happen.
Wow, another beshitted thread. This sucks.
I blame Episiarch for this one. He needs to put his White Indian sockpuppet to bed. It is beyond old.
It isn't Epi, and that accusation is already old and frankly inflammatory. Shame on you. I am not Epi's biggest fan, but for you to claim that sans evidence is shitty of you.
The evidence is only circumstantial, of course, but he has tried just a bit too hard to pin WI on "rather"...maybe I am wrong.
No shit.
I can't figure out why?
The style isn't even like mine; I don't care about the subject, and really I'm not sure what it is.
Be careful you don't go into "doth protest too much" territory. That would be what Episiarch is hoping for.
I already have ..what 4 or 5 spoofs? I don't comment for weeks at a time, and I'll read some 'arguments' that I never had.
My style is self-evident, and I use my link most of the time, and always when I 'spoof'
I don't get his game but I do think it is epi because he's on every thread with WI that I have seen.
#W.In.ning
Epi may be demented as fuck, but to come up with something as diabolically stOOpid as White Idiot...
Epi may be demented [something more mundane] as fuck
I never got a "demented" vibe from Epi.
He's too fucking retarded to fake "white indian". The original was/is likely an editor* or a left-anarchist he has linked in the past. A clever commenter may well have taken over and spoofed the original troll persona.
*(the "likely suspect" should be obvious.)
I may have been too hasty. "White Indian" is just the sort of shit they would've taught in the Johns Hopkins Anthro department so it would be easy to regurgitate as a spoof.
As I hope I implied upthread, I doubt WI is a spoof. But, who knows, clearly many folks around here DO have that kind of time on their hands.
Yes, if you google White Indian, you'll find that he has trolled more obscure libertarian sites in the past, saying the exact same things. He's not a spoof, he's a true evangelical retard.
Has he trolled LewRockwell yet?
Don't you mean "has he started writing for Lew Rockwell yet"?
Bet Whitey would fit right in over there.
Sick burn.
Please make a note of it.
please make a note of it
FIFY is a stoopid statist.
FIFY loves big-government enforced lines on the earth to restrict free movement of free people.
Fuck you all! I must INSIST THAT YOU LISTEN TO ME, because that's what free-speech rights are all about! READ MY POSTS YOU FUCKING PIGS!
You're doing it wrong, mustard. Christ-Fags don't respond to all-caps.
Shit, everyone's forgotten about me already. I may as well kill myself.
ARFARFARFARFARFARFARFARF!!!!!!!!!!!
I came back just long enough to support my fellow travelers above.
Are you able to inform me easy methods to subscribe your blog?
Psychopaths appear to view the world and others instrumentally, as theirs for the taking...
How to Spot Psychopaths: Speech Patterns Give Them Away
by Wynne Parry, LiveScience Senior Writer
Date: 20 October 2011

When the Republican party isn't psychopathic enough.
Libertarianspsychopaths attempt to dehumanize their victims by manipulating them into thinking of humans as property to be owned.
"Do you own yourself?"
Once a human is regarded as property, it can be sold and bought, even enslaved.
Here's one psychopathic libertarian (sorry for being redundant) on whipping slaves, as follows.
Voluntary Slave Contracts
by Walter Block
http://www.lewrockwell.com/block/block134.html
Note how they whitewash their psychopathic sickness with the word "voluntary."
If you don't own yourself then SOMEONE ELSE DOES. It's very simple.
It seems almost a bit of a joke but there are lots of people who sincerely believe spending more but at a slower growth rate of spending equals austerity.
Ban White Indian already.
I'm beginning to think Episiarch must be playing it like the FBI and inventing his own villians, and using his IT skills so the squirrels can't figure out how to ban him. It's the only imaginable justification for not banning the fucker.
I see somebody made this argument seriously upthread. Huh.
Not Spock. Stonn.
deep thinker Ari Berman
More "Jewish genius".
