Reason Writers on Russia Today: Matt Welch Talks Rand Paul and More on The Alyona Show

Geez, Matt. You look like a giant compared to that chick.
If Alyona keeps talking about things that are "a pain in the ass" or "sexy", I won't accomplish anything productive today.
How old is Alyona?
Old enough to breath, old enough to cleave.
Matt Welch: Secessionist.
Welch gets to be on all the fun programs.
Fuck all of you!
When is Reason going to stop appearing on this Kremlin biased, government funded station? Seems like a pretty clear violation of libertarian principles.
Are you from Concord, MA?
For one thing, Alyona is hot. For another, what principle is this violating? Matt is walking on to the set and arguing for libertarianism right in their face. We should be thanking them for having him on.
Matt--
Get your hands out of your pockets! Weak body language, especially for TV. I know it was probably motivated by a (possibly unconscious) desire to not seem like an imposing giant as you directly addressed a tiny little person, but it actually comes off making you look scared and insecure, as all "making yourself smaller" body language does.
Your hands should be at your sides, hanging freely and confidently. If you want to present a less threatening presence, show your palms, like Jesus.
But don't put your hands in your pockets on TV! Seriously. Also, stop swaying and fidgeting.
You're good on TV. Improve your body language and you could be great.
