Fortunately, Carly Fiorina was running, so my soul is intact."

Too little, too late, bi-atch.
I vote with my fists. So Diebold machines or not, they're all punchcards to me.
Dude, you're on fire today. 🙂
Everyone who comments at 4:20 gets a free spliff when Prop 19 passes.
Who was running against that haircut, Newsom? He's been yet another shitty mayor for SF.
Am I to understand that someone actually thought it was a good idea to vote for Gavin Newsome?
I mean, in any capacity??
you have obviously not heard anything about Abel Moldenano, he makes Newsom look intelligent.
Secondly, he's a major fucking tool who was one of two hold out assholes who worked a deal to fleece Californians of billions in tax increases.
Him and Mike Villines both on the ballots this year, both as payback for fucking over the GOP, which in and of itself could be a good thing, unfortunately that fuckover, double fucked the residents of the state.
Perhaps, but there were plenty of other people running, including a libertarian.
United States Representative
Stephen C. Smith, Republican
GASP!
Hide yo kids, hide yo anus!
STEVE SMITH WANT MEET NANCY PELOSI IN WASHINGTON! ENJOY FALL OF POWERFUL! SASQUATCH RAPE DESTROYS POWER!
In other news, it turns out I'm not very good at STEVE SMITH jokes.
No threat against Pelosi's dumb ass is meant here, of course.
No threat against Pelosi's dumb ass is meant here, of course.
We're not the like the pansies at Pajamas Media. Get your threat on, chum.
Advocacy for violence is generally not this funny.
I've posted this before, but since he's running for office, more people need to hear it: Steven Smith.
As I was saying - I know
That I've been one of the few who walked away from you
Steven smith , we all lose
One look at you -And they're suddenly covered in shrapnel too
It's true, most die in your bedroom
All the time I'm getting shot
Oh, barrels roll and hammers drop
Come on now, grab that gun and we'll
Go drive around - until there's no sound
PELOSI DUMB ASS NOT AS TIGHT AS HER FACE!!! STEVE SMITH NOT CARE!!! RAPE ANYWAYS!!!!
What the fuck is the "State Board of Equalization"?
They make sure the swift never win the race.
Kinda like the Robin Hood Agency.
Is it run by Diana Moon Glampers?
Sales taxes, booze taxes etc.
Re: Spoonman,
It establishes the official state standards for balance of bass and treble.
Sounds like the white man's bullshit.
It's obviously racist - biased against bass-heavy music like reggae, hip hop, drum'n'bass, & reggaeton.
+1
It's the real-life Handicapper General (from Harrison Bergeron).
Original Name: The Committee to Ensure No Poppy Gets Too Tall.
It's important to not damage the self-esteem of the plodding.
That flag in the first picture is backwards, the stars always go in the upper left.
No love for Gail Lightfoot? I understand voting against Boxer, but for Fiorina?
I've voted for Gail Lightfoot so may times I can afford a bye.
I know Fiorina sucks. But God let Boxer lose. I would vote for a member of the Manson family to get that bitch out of government.
That's Senator Bitch to you, peasant.
Squeaky Fromme is free. But according to the imadeitupapedia, she now resides in Marcy, NY.
I'd still have voted for a Libertarian were there one running, but I understand. I almost voted for Webster, the (R) running against Alan Grayson.
Excellent, Tim!
GO AHEAD! THROW YOUR VOTE AWAY!
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
Would you like to exchange some long protein strings with me?
No homo (sapiens).
I am looking forward to an orderly election, which will eliminate the need for a violent blood bath.
YOU MADE SERAK THE PREPARER CRY!
For a superior race, they really rub it in.
'da voted for Satan, if he was running against her. Fortunately, Carly Fiorina was running, so my soul is intact."
Ummm, yeah . . .
Gavin Newsom
What is this I don't even
I'm sure the other guy sucked, too, but...duuuuuuuude.
Newsom did the fake Kyoto signing, banned cigarette ads, started the calories-on-menus shit, [more creepy Whitey culture-Nazi shit here], and he's a testifyin' religious loon.
There aren't many shittier fucks on earth. He's not going to do nothing as LG. There are millions still free.
I don't really care for the lead singer of Bush either, but you guys are being way harsh.
the guy managed to bang Gwen Stephani. He must have something going for him even if it is just having the nickname Tripod.
His daughter is fairly hot as well, especially if you like girls with severe daddy issues.
Yeah she is smoking hot. Apparently Stephani threw a fit and made him cut off contact with her. She was the result of a liaison that happened before he ever met her. It is not like he cheated on her and knocked up his mistress. What a bitch.
Every time she has a fight with her current boyfriend, she writes a song about it. I mean, something like Rumours was one thing - they were trying to deal with the painful breakups that were still fresh, and after the album, they got over it.
Would you want to date some woman who wrote lyrics about what a dick you are whenever you refuse to move the furniture for the third time this month because she's already getting bored with it? Jesus.
When you post comments about the desirability of semi-celebrities, a link to pictures is always appreciated for us lazy fuckers.
Also: Gavin.
He also banged Marilyn. YMMV.
I think there's a decent case for Newsom:
1. He's an actual liberal. He pushed the gay marriage thing when Fabian consensus still said it was too soon. His homeless plan -- which the left condemned as heartless -- was actually focused on helping people out, as was his support for Arlene Ackerman (who was also vilified by the left). This year he is the only Democrat running for major office who supports Prop 19.
2. He's an actual wonk who spends a lot of time on nuts and bolts governance stuff. I was in San Francisco through most of his administration, and while he didn't have Willie Brown's awesomeness, he was competent. The badly timed traffic light at my corner finally got fixed during the Newsom admin.
3. He gets unfairly (though understandably) tagged as a well-born fancy lad when in fact he has actually worked for a living and is usually more of a self-made person than the candiates he's running against.
4. He's honest, and we can't have enough of that. Even when he got busted screwing the wife of an underling, he came out and admitted it without prevarication (though he did subsequently use the old in-treatment-for-substance-abuse dodge when the media wouldn't let it go).
5. He's just so goddamn handsome.
This year he is the only Democrat running for major office who supports Prop 19.
That is all you really had to write.
It doesn't let him off the hook for his nanny bullshit especially since Prop 19 is up to the people, not him.
Sure, but is he black?
Thank you for supporting the system! The plutocracy thanks you!
"I'da voted for Satan, if he was running against her. Fortunately, Carly Fiorina was running, so my soul is intact."
Cthulu will be displeased.

The Yutes are apparently showing up to vote for Prop 19 in California.
No threat against Pelosi's dumb ass is meant here, of course.
Nobody's ass is safe when STEVE SMITH is in town.
And not a single fuck was given that day.
Thanks for this, Tim, I'm still two hours away from going in and needed some 'tarian guidance.
(Terry Colon's still my favorite Suckster, through....)
Proposition 21, Vehicle Fee for State Parks
No
What the FUCK???!?!
You don't believe in user fees for public services!??!
What kind of fucking monster are you?!?!
Not sure if yours is a serious comment or not, but I'll answer it seriously. It proposes that everyone who pays an annual vehicle registration fee pay for state parks. So, it's not a user fee for only the people who actually go to said parks.
Ah that makes sense...Ok Tim gets to live...for now.
No rationalizations given, though I like this one from Mike "The Wine Commonsewer" Snell: "I'da voted for Satan, if he was running against her. Fortunately, Carly Fiorina was running, so my soul is intact."
Link or it didn't happen.
You can vote for people from different parties for Gov and LG in CA?
I was briefly considered for running for governor in Hawaii for the Libertarian party, but we couldn't dredge up an LG LP candidate.
Not a lot of libertarians in Hawaii.
Haven't most of the native Hawaiians been turned into government loving statists?
I kind of thought the locals were US government hating monarchists.
+1

what's with the suspicious package in the foreground of the picture? Someone call the bomb squad yet?
Kittens or puppies.
I don't know how you can call yourself a libertarian and vote for Newsom.
Oi-vey.
Governor, Sec. of State, Treasurer, a couple locals, Prop 19.
If this is a recall vote for his decoder ring, I vote he keeps it.
And I thought I was the only one who voted no on all 16 judges.
my vote:
State rep position 1
Cary Condotta (R) (no opponant)
State rep pos 2
Cliff Courtney (R) (Ran against Republican. Washington state is now weird. in the general the top two vote getters in the primary run in the general in this case two Republicans got the highest votes...so two republicans run against each other in the general.)
Assessor
Vicki Griffin
District 2 Commissioner
Keith Goenher (r) (Ran against independent)
Treasurer
David Griffiths (R) (No Opponant)
Supreme Court Justice Pos 6
Richard B. Sanders (Don't tell anyone but this guy is a libertarian)
District Court Judge pos 1
Alicia H. Nakata (no opponent)
District Court Judge Pos 2
(I wrote in a friends name and he will remain nameless)
PUD commissioner district 3
Jenae Pape-Miller (i voted against the incumbent)
PUD Commissioner District B At-Large
Stan Morse (again voted against the incumbent. Fun fact the Incumbent was Vice Principle at the High School i went to.)
Initiative 1053 2/3rd majority to enact Tax or fee increases
Yes
Initiative 1082 Privatize Industrial Insurance
Yes
1098 Enact state income tax
No
1100 Privatize liquor sales
Yes
1105 Privatize liquor sales
Yes (we had two of these. no idea why. I hope both pass and fuck up the whole state...so long as liquor is privatized that is)
1107 repeal candy and pop tax
Yes
US senator
Dino Rossi (R) (He is running against Patty Murry so I get a huge pass for voting republican)
Congressional district 4 US Rep
Doc Hastings (R) (there was no tea party candidate in the general...but doc voted against TARP and against Obamacare against cap and trade and against the stimulus.)
I am in Washington too - I voted nearly identical to you on all of the initiatives, and on Rossi. I didn't vote for any other candidates, I wrote in a bunch of stupid names from my kids favorite shows (i.e. Lightning McQueen). The top-two thing is stupid. It probably took me 10 minutes to draw that little line across on Rossi, but I figured this was the best way to get Murray out of office - otherwise she will be there until she dies from old age. Rossie will be a terrible Senator. I hate that I voted for him, but Murray is one of the heads of the snake in my opinion, she is a powerful, key Senator and one of the most important to be removed... in all truth, if Rossi pulls this off by some fluke, he will be a one termer... likely replaced by a slightly more fiscally conservative Democrat... which is about the best we can hope for living in Washington state.
Did I mention the top-two thing is stupid?
Did I mention the top-two thing is stupid?
I don't know...it is growing on me. In my neck of the woods it is all Republicans. So at least it is possible to hurt incumbents with it. In King county and other Democrat majority counties i see the same thing happening.
Essentially it hurts incumbents and it hurts the two party system. I am starting to like it.
But I am still not entirely sold on it. In Douglas county there was a really bad county commissioner that lost because another Republican ran against her in the general. That would have not happened without the top-two thing.
I voted the straight LP ticket in Texas, changing only to vote for the D in a school board race against a creationist R.
I would vote for a creationist who supports school choice vs an evolutionist who does not.
I took my toys and went home. Fuck voting, you're going to get shit on no matter what you do.
When I get an unlimited politician hunting pass at the polling place I'll begin voting. Until then the check of voting them out in god knows how many years isn't enough.
Pretty much agree with you... with the exception on bond measures and intiatives. Especially in smaller districts a few votes one way or the other really can change things. As for candidates... I have voted for very few candidates, and they have nearly always been where the alternative is Patty Murray style awful. Privatizing liquor sales helps my clients, helps me and is better for the Washington economy as a whole. There are some things worth sending your ballot back in for...
Since you didn't mention Insurance Commish, I'll have to default to whoever it was Martin Sheen told me to vote for when he called 6 times over the weekend.
Was he calling for YES or NO on 19?
When I felt the races really mattered (Gov, Atty Gen, US Senate) I voted for the R's. I held my nose and voted for eMeg simply to keep Jerry Brown out of office.
(Note: While tempted to say that Dale Ogden ran the worst statewide Libertarian campaign in CA history, that would infer that he did anything at all.)
I also wanted a Guv and a Attorney General from the R's so that CA would join the lawsuit against Obamacare and make the D's in CA go into meltdown.
The rest of the races (Guv Lite, Ins Commissioner, etc.) I voted for Libertarians. Gavin Newsom and Abel Maldonado can both burn in hell as far as I'm concerned.
In my Congressional race, I voted for the R incumbent as there was no Libertarian present and the only minor party candidate is an American Independent (Constitution) party guy who's to the right of Attila the Hun.
Proposition 19, Legalizes Marijuana
NO (no new taxes and regulations!)
Proposition 20, Redistricting Congressional Districts
No
Proposition 21, Vehicle Fee for State Parks
No
Proposition 22, Prohibits State Borrowing from Transportation Funds
Abstain
Proposition 23, Suspends Global Warming Law (AB 32)
Yes
Proposition 24, Repeals Business Tax Deductions
No
Proposition 25, Lowers Vote Requirement to Pass Budgets from 2/3 to Simple Majority
No
Proposition 26, Require Fees to be Approved by 2/3 Majority
Yes
Proposition 27, Repeal Prop 11 Redistricting Reform
Yes
No on 19? I get your point on no new taxes/regulations... but the one question I ask myself on ballot measures/initiatives is if it will increase the amount of liberty for the individual... in this case, you eliminate one set of onerous costs (War on Drugs costs - court costs for non-violent offenders, prison costs, etc) for a small amount of regulation and taxes, with a net gain of expanding liberty. Further paving the way for other states to follow suit. Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good... (especially since you apparently have the ability to 'hold your nose' and vote for people who are about as bad as they come, i.e. emeg)
I don't consider it a net gain, especially as the federal "war on drugs" won't end and liberty won't be expanded, while jurisdictions all over CA will line up to get a new slice of the pie and Ammiano is ready at the gate to introduce a bill to set up a whole new state tax structure for pot.
Not a net gain in my book.
I don't consider it a net gain, especially as the federal "war on drugs" won't end and liberty won't be expanded
Sigh...so given option A which will do nothing for liberty and option B which might do something for liberty you choose option A simply because Option B might not do anything.
You realize how foolish your decision was right?
No on 19 = you are a huge asshole and I hope that you get raped in prison fuck you.
That's more sex than you're getting now blogging from your mommy's basement.
"I'da voted for Satan, if he was running against her."
I think Miroslav is in fact looking for a job, but I don't think he's even a citizen.
F him. He scored 40 goals a year in Buffalo but they were the equivalent to ARod home runs. Never when it mattered.
That's more sex than you're getting blogging from your mommy's basement.
oops - wrong spot, sorry (see above).
