L.A. Reasoners: Love Comics? Come Hear Doherty (and Friends) Talk About Them Tonight
Marking the release of the nifty new book Best American Comics Criticism, edited by Ben Schwartz (Fantagraphics), in which an essay by me appears, Skylight Books in Los Angeles is throwing a little discussion/reading event tonight.
Panelists include me, anthology editor and comics historian Ben Schwartz, critic R. Fiore, and comic artists Joe Matt and Sammy Harkham.

Wow, I just clicked the link for a description of the book because I was thinking, "How interesting! Criticism of comedians. I wonder what the essays are like."
