"Missing link", huh? That's some stunning science journalism there.
Could newspapers just hurry up and die already?
PS I think I'm so educated
and I'm so civilised
'cos I'm a strict vegetarian.
Can it the person taking his place?
Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens prepares to retire.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Still nothing about the gold and silver market manipulation, huh? The National Inflation Association has picked up on it now, along with FBN and CNBC. Just Google Andrew Maguire.

If the national rifle association is pro-rifle, is the national inflation association pro-inflation?
Ha ha. Not quite. Actually, GATA and Zero Hedge are much better sources on this. And The Daily Paul has been covering it, also.
You shouldn't trivialize issues of health and safety by calling them nanny issues.
I wonder if he knows how clueless he sounds (the NYT reporter).
INTERVIEW HAS BEEN CONDENSED AND EDITED.
As if there was any doubt.
Why would they condense and edit an online article?
Electron shortage.
Caused by electron hoarders. Rationing will fix that.
We'll see. It is an electron year.
"It is an electron year."
Congressional elections are more about hole flow.
And spin.
You can say that again.
Valerie Jarrett gives me an electron.
What about me? I'm absolutely cuter than Valerie.
You're a fat and jolly woman, Christina, but you're not my type.
You have no idea; we'll pass it so you can see what's in it.
That's exactly what I said to my gastroenterologist.

Missing link between man and apes found
So that's what turned Australopithicus all homo.
Well done.
Neat find on the skeleton.
This proves nothing. God is testing our faith. Repeat.
This evidence proves God wants us to understand evolution and still have faith. Repeat: knowledge and belief are not mutually exclusive.
God gave me a brain but he told me not to use it. It says so in the Bible.
I said your little brain.
Afghan investigators charge the U.S. with covering up a bloody blunder.
Ask Tricky Dick. It's the cover-up that will bite you in the ass every time. Mistakes happen in the fog of war. They're regrettable and forgiveble. Cover-ups are inexcusable.
These guys have all the relevant qualifications for service in any stateside SWAT team, so I think they'll have no trouble getting back on their feet.
I read absolutely nothing about their dog-killing prowess.
They shot pregnant women. That's like the equivalent of three dogs and an old black woman. They'll make fine SWAT Officers.
True, true, true.
Here is the part I don't get. If you are going to dig a bullet out of a dead body, then why use alcohol? Alcohol is a disinfectant and if the person is dead why do you care about the person developing an infection.
Not saying the murders didn't happen but something with the story ain't right.
I wonder if they were trying to remove taces of DNA or other chemical evidence that might have been discovered in a forensic investigation.
What ever it was, all their actions after the original foulup seem to have been directed at misdirection.
Will religious experts be allowed to examine and fingerbang the remains?
you disgust and amuse me
Are you old enough to drive?
Bravo! That was good.
After years as justice, John Paul Stevens wants what's 'best for the court'
Nice title. Too bad there wasn't a "finally" preceding "wants".
I would be more impressed if he wanted what's best for the nation.
?sed s/nation/constitutional republic/
I'm a King Kong man
I'm a voodoo man
I'm an apeman
Yesterday was bad poetry day. Stop it.
In man's evolution he has created the cities
And the motor traffic rumble (brum-brum)
But give me half a chance and I'll be taking off my clothes
And living in the jungle.
Extra-nerdy morning metal
Excellent find. I like the treatment of Moonlight Sonata.
I once played with a guitarist who wrote something based on one of Scarlatti's pieces. Awesome guitarist, before he went insane.
Should we assume the Constitutional-Scholar-in-Chief will appoint Goodwin Liu to SCOTUS as Stevens' replacement?
I thought Steve Smith was the missing link between man and ape?
Likewise.
The existence of Steve Smith has been known for some time.
Speaking of nannies, the person representing the nanny side during last night's snus story on 60 Minutes was predictably incoherent: first it's smoking that's evil, then nicotine, and now addiction itself is evil. And products which are safer than smoking are bad because... they lead to more smoking. Or something.
Did you throw anything at the TV?
Nah, I just laughed.
""Speaking of nannies, the person representing the nanny side during last night's snus story on 60 Minutes was predictably incoherent:""
I saw that. It really was sad. Her zero tolerence approach to addiction is idiotic. The one guy, Swede I think, was on the money.
I think this is the story

Actually, no, the group attacked a U.S. consulate in Pakistan. According to the story the one that was attacked happened to be in Peshawar.
Their are several U.S. consulates in Pakistan.
Consulate serve a different function than embassies. I'm surprised at the number of people who seem to be unaware of this fact.
Actually, no, the group attacked a U.S. consulate in Pakistan
You are correct. Fixed.
Shouldn't that be an U.S. consulate, since the abbreviation starts with a vowel sound?
No. If it sounds like "you," it gets "a," not "an."
"an umbrella"
"a unicorn"
"an harmonica"
But will it core a apple?
