She's commentating on MSNBC and doesn't have Health Care?
I guess MSNBC isn't into this whole social justice thing.
Welch talking about throwing bombs while split-screened with POTUS? I smell a visit from Janet Napolitano in Matt's future.
There is a Matt Welch who's a Republican strategist.
And I don't recall this supposed other Matt Welch here ever distancing himself from him(self).
Neocon!
MSNBC ever use former-Reason Democratic strategist David Weigel?
Matt, you should've specified VERBAL bombs. You're in deep doo-doo now.
FUCK YES. That was so exact. So cutting. So beautiful. How did it feel to call him out like that? Oh, god, I bet you loved it. I loved it. I loved it!
...okay, I need the weekend to be here already.
The girl told a lie right off the bat. She can get health "care" - but I'm guessing she is likely associating health care as health insurance, so not only is she probably lying about not having health insurance, it's usage of bad semantics. Even if she really did not have health insurance, she should be able to get it no matter what state she lives in.
No kidding. Geez, Matt, you had an opportunity to trip her up right at the get-go.
"Wow, I feel bad for you that you can't get health care. Has state medical association blackballed you? Does the local hospital have a criminal trespass warrant out on you? What did you do to deserve that?"
Welch seems to be more of a persuader than a confronter.
Gillespie, on the other hand...
That is the mark of a strategist, not a bomb-thrower.
