In the central-planning fantasy of American lefties like Christopher Hayes, it's always assumed THEY themselves would have a role on the People's Planning Committee, financed by a nice, fat government stipend.
It never occurs to them their own personal freedom and livelihood would ever be at stake; only someone else's.
Sadly, history disagrees..."intellectuals" were usually the first to be shot.
Was Hayes being agreeable because you guys are old friends? Interesting discussion, but I didn't see much debate here. I didn't detect any rah-rah Obama on his part.
