Well that was a lot of tsouris over nothing. President Obama's speech to the children comes across without controversy or (except for the "I'm working to get schools the resources they need" bit) politicking of any kind. Even the inevitable say-no-to-drugs reference was veiled, with a simple reference to avoiding kids who want you to do something you know you "shouldn't." The only weak point was when he followed up an admonition that kids shouldn't pin their hopes on becoming entertainment celebrities or sports stars with two examples of successful people: J.K.
