The Tsunami Conspiracies
"[I]n a disturbing echo of the Sept. 11 canard that thousands of Jews were warned to stay away from the World Trade Center," notes Sunday's NYT, "rumors have circulated [in Indonesia] that the tsunami was set off by an American or Israeli nuclear test. The supposed proof was the warning of the coming wave received by the American military base on Diego Garcia."
Variations on the theme (thanks to Chrenkoff) involve Wall Street bankers, as well as punishment for sordid Christmas celebrations and malfeasance by an alliance of the U.S., Israel, and India, both of the latter offered here.

Oh fer crying out loud!
There's got to be someone to BLAME!
I'm surprised Russia isn't included in the cabal along with the capitalistic perverts, Jews and Hindus.
All four of us are destined to rule the world.
Have we been blamed for Nasser, Sadat, Mubarak, Assad I, Assad II, Hussein, Pahlevi, al Saud, etc. as well? Don't they know we control all their minds?
[Maniacal laughing]
The color-coded terror alert system that is on the receiving end of so much mockery is really a cleverly coded tsunami-alert system to those "in the know".
It's not so far-fetched. Lex Luthor did it in Superman 1.
You know, the ayatollahs and mullahs never tire of seeing the hand of Allah in everything and justifying disasters as His righteous wrath. But thery also never seem to realize that Allah has condemned to eternal hellfire those who produce and sell the unholy black oil to the infidels 🙂
And so long as all the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ the trade produces can keep the otherwise worthless Arabian peninsula out of howling barbarism, they never will either. Otherwise, they might just realize how utterly irrelevant the rest of the world really thinks they are.
Paranoid blame engendered by natural disasters is sadly seen in the western hemisphere as well. There are a number of examples of crowds descending on the home owned by the "witch" in a tornado devastated area that was spared destruction.
The myth that thousands of Jews were warned to stay away from the World Trade Center might have gotten its start from the fact that two workers at Odigo, an Israeli instant messaging service company whose headquarters are in New York, received messages two hours before the Twin Towers attack on September 11 predicting the attack would happen.

Three data points:
1. Islamists (i.e., extremists) are reportedly providing aid.
2. The low amount of donations from the Arab world would seem to be a good win. Some won't give aid because they think the money will wind up in non-Muslim hands.
3. There's a UFO base in the Himalayas, and both China and India know about it. It's buried deep in the tectonic plates... (Includes bonus Bollywood coverage!)
Islamic nuts aren't the only ones who claim that the Tsunami is part of "God's" wrath. According to these Christian scumsukers. God killed all those children to prevent them from becoming idol-worshipping Hindus or bomb-toting Muslims:

Yup, everyone is in the conspiracy game now. Time for a libertarian conspiracy game.
How about this: the tsunami was created by the United Nations, in order to draw the US into international humanitarian releif, which would of course be led by the UN. Thus, the UN spider tightens the web on the US fly.
OK, that sucked. Anyone got a better libertarian-flavored conspiracy theory?
Let's be careful not to smear political conspiracy analysis via association with natural disaster conspiracies. It would be a tragic mistake for libertarianism to reject conspiracy analysis. To do so would be to assume that political power is never transmitted via the machinations of hidden collusion and miss-direction. Political reality just doesn't work that way. In the world of politics, what really happened is often in contrast to the picture offered by those in power. When you debase conspiracy analysis, you're throwing out an invaluable tool for understanding real politic.
I think we need to engage in conspiracy analysis to understand political power. We need to ask the question; who benefits? I like Rothbard's extension of common sense conspiracy analysis from small political situations (such as the collusion between labor and management to enact tariffs, which surprises no one) to things like entry into war, the creation of the Federal Reserve, energy policies, the IMF, environmental laws, etc.
When we can show people that there are lies and deception behind government programs, we will heighten the resistance to those programs. Folks don't like being faked out.
Akira MacKenzie,
Don't forget nut-ball Jews as well. Look at what Israel's Chief Rabbi said:
Israel's Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar commented on the catastrophe last week saying "G-d is angry" and "we must pray more and ask for mercy." In comments to the Ynet website, he said: "The nations of the world are obligated to observe the seven Noahide laws, such as prohibitions against illicit (sexual) relations... The deaths are very painful."

"rumors have circulated [in Indonesia] that the tsunami was set off by an American or Israeli nuclear test."
I just finished reading and replying to the article right above this one. The one about the "moral high ground."
Certainly the conspiracy rumours are naive. However, they're not surprising, in light of present American actions in the world. You've got a well-earned reputation. Learn to live with it.
I hate religion.
What does it take to get across to these people that I'm pissed at them? I carefully placeed that tsunami so that it would maximize muslims deaths and minimize all others. What could be more clear?
Oh well, I'll come up with something even more spectacular. That firstborn thing seemed to work last time.....
Douglas,
AMEN
You've got a well-earned reputation. Learn to live with it.
Somehow, I think if we really had a reputation for exerting god-like powers against our enemies, people would be a lot nicer to us.
Akira,
Yes, it's true that the lunatic fringes of every major religion are going to trot out the strange conspiracy theories. The difference is that while Christian extremists are fortunately confined to backwoods websites equivalent to obscure caves, the Muslim extremists are getting quality airtime on state-sponsored television in various regions of the world (at least according to the Middle Eastern Media Research Institute).

"2. The low amount of donations from the Arab world would seem to be a good win. Some won't give aid because they think the money will wind up in non-Muslim hands."
The Saudi government pledged $30 million to the tsunami relief effort, another ~$100 million by individual donors, and the Islamic Development Bank based in Saudi Arabia pledged $500 million. Other gulf countries pledged nearly $70 million. That is more than what the US pledged (especially if you consider the GDP of each country).
" The difference is that while Christian extremists are fortunately confined to backwoods websites equivalent to obscure caves..."
You mean like the Oval Office?
I've checked, there are not many atheist helping out in the relief effort. Apparently they are to busy bashing my people for providing the bulk of the charity.
...and why is Australia not mentioned? we are a mini America who can see the potential for money making in Indonesia. We gave over 1 billion dollars - however I can assure you we will get back ten times this much in political strategy alone. I am not saying that this is a conspiracy, but it seems a tad odd how everyone was rushing to help the inflicted countries except the United States. Was it a case of Bush whispering to Howard 'Okay we got Iraq, you can have Indonesia...'
These asian countrys that were victimized were successfully independent from global banking which is controlled by Jewish plutocrats, and the real estate of these countrys is prime real estate which would offer great profits, to the owners (and it was, to the Indonesian owners, 3 billion a year in Indonesia as reported by CNN).
To take control of their lands to profit by their lands, a tragedy of some sort to make their country collapse economically would have to happen. If the Government of the United States was designed as it was to combat conspiracies, in that men with money will conspire as sure as the sun will shine the next day, you can be certain that the Tsunami was man made.
The biggest revealing factor is that all positions of politics in the two hardest hit countries were all restaffed with brand new heads of power, shortly before Dec 26th. That is not a coincidence, and it's very strong relative evidence.
Not to mention the seismologist centers didn't simply make a phone call of which is no effort, to the head of state or emergency. You know, a phone call, like when hurricanes and typhoons and those events that have hit the countrys previously of which they received warning, the warning system clearly is/was intact, yet for some strange reason didn't work that day, eh?
You guys are really dumb or part of it, I'd say.
It was Martians. Oh wait. No. Jews. No wait. The Vatican. Oops. I meant the Illuminati.
NO. I'VE GOT IT!!! It was... GOOD SPELLERS!!!!
I find it really wierd that on a Christian holiday, a huge wave wipes out a mostly muslim country, then all these western countries are donating millions of pounds to them for aid, i keep seeing an illuminati -type auora around the whole situation
