    The John Galt Rises?

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    I DON'T KNOW ANY OF THESE ACTORS. Except of course for Leland Palmer.

  • Caleb Turberville||

    You don't know Samantha Mathis? The greatest Halloween date ever?

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    It should have been Elizabeth Banks.

    oooh she played princess Daisy in Super Mario Bros.

  • Caleb Turberville||

    Whatever happened to Roxette?

  • Caleb Turberville||

    By the way, you are reading that right. Indeed, that soundtrack brought Megadeth, The Divinyls, and Marky Mark together.

    It couldn't be worse than Part I, could it?

    I thought the trailer made the movie look like there might be an exciting plot. I'll have to watch it again.

    They did recruit several well known TV actors like Michael Gross and Diedrich Bader.

    I will go see it but with low expectations.

    Looks Horrible!

    The Strike? What kind of subtitle was that. They should have gone with Electric Galt-a-loo

    I have not read the book but i think it is a reference to it.

    A bunch of rich creative people go on strike and leave to start a new country or something.

  • Chris Yoder||

    The basic premise of the book is that crony capitalists use the government to secure their own business because they are too big to fail while attempting to smash their competition (sound familiar). So people like John Galt, decide to go on strike and set up a settlement in Colorado (?) to wait for the current system to destroy itself and then come back into society.

    Hank Rearden from the first film was much better.

    Could these lines have been said with any less effort?

    "I won't be a slave."

    "They will try like hell to stop you."

    Esai Morales is good. Too bad he couldn't play all the parts.

  • Caleb Turberville||

    Dude, just wait for Part 3.

  • BMFPitt||

    In Part III they will just be using random stock footage with voiceovers.

  • obijuan||

    What would be funny is if you have these first two movies, mediocre at best, and then for the third they are able to snag Liam Neeson, Daniel Day Louis, and Isla Fisher/Amy Adams.

  • Mr. Soul||

    I was thinking Leslie Neilsen, Carl Reiner and Cloris Leechman.

  • C. Anacreon||

    Much more exciting trailer than the first, can't tell if it will deliver though. First movie Dagny was much hotter, but I am getting the impression this Dagny might show boob.

    Nice to see Laura Palmer's killer again, perfect guy for Wesley Mouch.

  • Finchster||

    Just rent "Pump Up the Volume." Her boobs were 20 years younger.

    These movies are the secular equivalent of the "Left Behind" movies, in that you can get some enjoyment out of them if you're drunk and/or watching them ironically.
