Any Suggestions for Automatically Feeding Our Posts to MeWe?
We'd love to have our blog automatically feed to a MeWe page, as we do on Facebook, Twitter, and Parler; but MeWe doesn't seem to offer such a feature, the way dlvr.it and similar services do it for Facebook and Twitter, and the way Parler does it automatically for us. And while we theoretically could just hand-post each new post to MeWe, practically that wouldn't be sustainable.
Can anyone suggest any product or code that can be used or adapted to do that? Thanks!

Sure - just send me your bank account number and I'll send the instructions to your account plus your $10,000 lottery winnings.
/strictly a joke
Would it be that hard to code something quickly that does that? Facebook's api is sort of intuitive, and it isnt hard to create a program that automatically posts to Facebook from your computer, I've done it. I don't know anything about MeWe's api.
But I'm sure there is some sort of program somewhere, if a barebones api exists for MeWe.
Have you considered directly contacting MeWe? You're big enough they'll probably give you substantial help.
I have, and they keep saying that they're going to have something like this Real Soon Now, but they keep putting it off.
I suppose they are a bit hammered at the moment.
Seems fairly simple: https://github.com/theabbie/mewe/blob/master/index.js
You need to get the token somewhere and I don't know how long it lasts. Ideally this would be a properly supported mechanism and the token lasts indefinitely
While we're on the topic have you guys considered joining decentralized (federated) social networking? Like the Fediverse? I think this is an extremely important thing to consider especially as censorship ramps up here and abroad.
I've never even heard of the Fediverse. The real question is how we can do this easily, with automated posting of our feed to whoever wants it.

The remedy? Seizure in civil forfeiture, on the spot.

It's not Facebook's news blockade that's killing the web, it's the news outlet's demands that Facebook pay them royalties/fees for links to said news outlet's websites posted by Facebook's users.
The news outlets' demands have not yet been enacted into law. Facebook imposed its blockade as a protest against the possibility of the ban being enacted. So yes, it is Facebook's fault.
Of course, the news outlets might want to talk with their colleagues in Spain, who get a lot less traffic since a similar law was enacted there.
Would that law even be before the Australian legislature if the news outlets hadn't been lobbying for it?
What an amazingly uninformed piece. Clearly the author has no memory or perhaps knowledge of the internet back in the walled garden days of AOL, Prodigy, and Compuserve. Today's Facebook may also qualify as a walled garden but it has no way to keep anyone there the way the big three were able to limit internet access through their portals.
Would limitation on access include charging to get in? If so, is there something wrong with it?
Is there a way to make the Comments transfer automatically?
lol, call me if you need a guy. My comment awaits moderation.
