On Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 12 to 2 p.m., the Federalist Society will be hosting its annual Supreme Court preview at the Mayflower Hotel here in Washington, D.C. I'll be one of the panelists, as will Professor Samuel Estreicher, Kyle Duncan, Andrew Pincus and Carrie Severino. Jan Crawford will moderate. The event will be live-streamed at the Federalist Society's website, and you can register to attend here.

I plan to talk mostly about the Carpenter cell-site case, and I might also cover the Justice Department's pending cert petition in the Microsoft Ireland warrant case. The Georgetown Supreme Court Institute just released its summary of granted cases for the new term, and there are lots of really interesting grants. So there will be good stuff to cover.
