2016 Federalist Society Lawyers Convention honors Justice Antonin Scalia
The theme of this year's Federalist Society Lawyers Convention focuses on "The Jurisprudence and Legacy of Justice Scalia." As the title indicates, a large percentage of the panels focus on various aspects of Scalia's jurisprudence and his impact on the law.
The conference is Nov. 17-19 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington. Speakers include Justice Samuel Alito, Judge Frank Easterbrook, Sen. Ben Sasse, former solicitor general Paul Clement and Professors Richard Epstein, William Eskridge and Akhil Amar, among many others. The Volokh Conspiracy is also well-represented, as my co-bloggers Orin Kerr, Randy Barnett, Ilya Somin, Nicholas Rosenkranz, and Eugene Volokh are all speaking at the conference. (I'll also be signing copies of "Business and the Roberts Court" on Friday.) The full schedule is here.
[Note: When I originally posted I neglected to note that Nicholas Rosenkranz is speaking too.]
