More “mystery box” twaddle.
ya that was fun.
I was planning on Severance whenever it ends. Hopefully it doesn't get cut short and it gets an actual ending. I'm still disappointed Raised By Wolves didn't keep going.
I've been enjoying it quite a bit. But I do worry a little bit that they won't be able to pull off a satisfying ending. I love the surreal weirdness, but I really have no idea where it's going.
I've watched a few episodes with my wife and decided I don't have the patience for it. It reminded me of some suspense thriller meets a Wes Anderson film. The slow camera and plinking piano drolly playing through sloooooooow scenes with that edge of awkwardness like you see in Life Aquatic or The Royal Tanenbaums.
I can see how it's probably not for everyone. I don't find it to be awkward in they way the movies you mention are. But it is pretty self-consciously weird. I just hope the writers have some idea where they are going with it.
I fucking love it and have no idea why ... clearly they have no idea why either.
I swear to God if the writers are just winging it with the actual show I'm going to lose my shit.
the writers are just winging it with the actual show. ~~mme. dillinger
I'd like to imagine they aren't just winging it, but past experience shows that all prestige TV series writers are, in fact, just winging it.
that was almost European
... or did I just watch a perfume commercial?
The poor federal workers!
