I almost didn't recognize Takings, looked too skinny. Has he been on a diet?

    Excellent skit.

    Well, edit is still busted.

Anyway, I said "Great closed captioning" and pointed out the sad puppet noises

The pocket Constitution does not come close to the just compensation requirement that mandates (among other things) “a full and perfect equivalent for the property taken...' Pretty easy case to win. But if you are going to whine like the puppet and believe the BS heard in the video, then you are going to lose the fight before it begins. On the flooding case it currently has 80 plaintiff's and is now active and will be argued before the Supreme Court - which took the case under certiorari (99% of which requests are rejected) - the video lies with it's 'tough luck' nonsense (Texas has waived it's immunity) making it sound as if citizens have no recourse.

The Constitution hasn't been worth what it's written on since John Adams threw newspaper editors in jail for insulting him, just 7 years after the First Amendment was passed.

Bet you complained Alice in Wonderland wasn't an accurate representation of reality after you saw it too.

Observe that ALL arguments to the effect that the Political State MUST NOW send men with guns to coerce or we're all gonna die base the claim on imaginary facts that will only materialize if certain presumptuous assumptions are not falsified. Here the assumption is that Long Dong, Palito, KKKavanaugh, Gorbasuch and Mutterkreuz Mom will take time off from enslaving and killing women (because TR and Herbert Hoover's "New Race") to see outcoes about the Texas horse ranch being inconvenienced. We'll be back to this story after customs libel, faith-based asset forfeiture and robbery with service pistols complaints are all laughed out of La Suprema. Stay tuned...

      Tell that to Kelo

Secondly, citizens have no recours *unless the government waives its self-granted immunity from lawsuit*.

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there were discussions and plans for high-speed rail projects in Florida, but no high-speed train was operational without subsidies at that time. Plans for high-speed rail development can evolve, and new projects may have been initiated or completed since then.

If there is a specific company and high-speed train service you are referring to, and it has started operations without subsidies, I recommend checking the latest news sources, the official website of the company, or other reputable news outlets for the most up-to-date information. News articles, press releases, or official statements from the company would provide details about the current status of the high-speed train service and its financial model.

Keep in mind that the status of infrastructure projects can change, and developments may have occurred after my last update in January 2022...
