Meet the Trans Activists Fighting for Sex Worker Freedom
Decriminalization bills have floundered in recent months in New York and Washington, D.C, but advocates hope that the latest push for criminal justice reform could re-energize the movement.
HD DownloadBianey Garcia is a trans woman and activist who grew up in the Mexican city of Veracruz. In 2005, she paid a coyote to smuggle her across the border, hoping to find a community that would accept her sexuality. "I didn't have [any]…family here….friends or [a] place to go," she recalls.
After living on the street for months, Garcia says she was taken in by a middle-aged Colombian man who used her immigration status to intimidate her into working for him as an underage prostitute. "He forced me to do it because he was threatening me by calling [Immigration and Customs Enforcement]," Garcia says.
She eventually escaped and landed a job busing tables at a Manhattan restaurant. When Garcia started taking hormones to begin transitioning, she says that her changing appearance caused her to lose her job. After three months of fruitless searching, she decided to do sex work. "This time, no one was forcing me to do it…I keep the money…I decided who…to have sex with."
Today, Garcia works for the nonprofit Make the Road New York on its campaign to decriminalize prostitution. Decriminalization bills have floundered in New York and Washington, D.C, in recent months, and the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted attention away from the issue. But advocates hope that the latest push for criminal justice reform could reenergize the movement. The first step is for policymakers to acknowledge that, for many people, selling sex is their best option for survival, and criminalizing that choice only makes their lives more difficult.

Meet the Trans Activists Fighting for Sex Worker Freedom
Nothing says 'freedom' like a man pretending to be a woman, advocating that men be able to buy and sell women like cattle*.
*An actual cow would actually be a much bigger investment.
Why buy a cow when you get the milk for free?
*fee.
I quit working at shoprite and now I make $65-85 per/h. How? I'm working online! My work didn't exactly make me happy so I decided to take a chance on something new…CDe after 4 years it was so hard to quit my day job but now I couldn't be happier.
Here’s what I do…..........>> Click here
The word "fee" derives from an ancient word for cattle.
This ones "milk" is loaded with trans-fats.
You can't get milk out of a steer.

While human males have less breast tissue than a female, what is there is fully functional. It is possible to induce lactation in an intact male, even if doing so is more difficult than inducing lactation in a female.
"Well, ahem, actually..."
Thanks for the human physiology lesson. Yes, men can lactate. Maybe you could research whether gender dysphoria and hyperprolactinemia are comorbid, and publish your findings here in this comment section.
Paying for someone’s time isn’t “buying” them.
In the immortal words of Chef: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jZDVSyEIrwM
Pretty sure someone who, to say nothing of misrepresenting their gender, paid a coyote to smuggle them across the border and was blackmailed into being a prostitute isn't arguing in favor sex workers' rights because of a fundamental believe in libertarian values either. Might as well feature a drug-smuggling Mexican heroin addict that advocates for safe injection sites as well.
"We should change the laws so that I can be more free of the consequences of the bad decisions and actions of my past." is not an inherently libertarian stance.
Bianey Garcia is a trans woman
FYI, media people, as long as you keep using this adjective before 'woman', you're essentially admitting that 'trans women' are fundamentally different than women. I'll let you work out the rabbit-hole logic on that.
In fairness to them there isn't any fucking logic at all left in political discourse. I mean currently the party of science crowd is arguing trump want's to cheetoh up the election by hiding mail boxes and destroying/hiding mail in ballots, while advocating for more mail in ballots.
There are conspiracy theories that Alex Jones types push, and then there are conspiracy theories that polite society indulges. The polite-society conspiracy theories are harder to fight than the Alex Jones types.
The polite society conspiracies most times make less sense and are more farfetched than the Alex Jones theories.
You are right, there's nothing going on at all.
Pointing to a CNN link about Russian Meddling in the election doesn't make the conspiracy more true.
That's the issue at hand here. If respectable people are pushing it, is it true?
In fairness, neither eunuch nor CNN are respectable
LOL nothing is right.
Lol...

CNN, lol.
And yet you'd bitch about Brietbart or the Daily Caller if someone ever posted them.
How about all caps WOMAN. Like a regular woman, but more stunning and brave (aka obnoxious and overcompensating)
I'm trying to be as neutral as possible on the subject. The trans-activists have claimed that trans women are women, full stop, no further adjectives required or desired. But the media (for whatever reason) keeps calling men who have transitioned to women (the overwhelming majority of trans people) 'trans woman'. So I honestly don't know what to make of it.
It seems that their culture's method of determining one's worth, I.e. their place on the stack, requires that they announce being trans or risk losing their place of prominence.
This is what I suspect. One author put it as "equal, but also better, at the same time".
"The trans-activists have claimed that trans women are women, full stop, no further adjectives required or desired. "
Literally the only reason they do that is to see who hasn't been adequately brainwashed yet.
^
I’m trying to be as neutral as possible on the subject.
Why?
So I honestly don’t know what to make of it.
Personally, I think it fits. I think trans women are the ultimate victim-Karens trying to collect all the perks from both sides and deserve to be called out as such.
According to the media, transwomen are real woman but real women are people that menstruate.
ENB likely orgasmed reading this.
ENB is pissed somebody is stopping on her turf. If someone else starts writing about sex work ENB (the one trick pony she is) becomes completely redundant.
nah.
Just as most bigots capitulated on gay rights a few years back, they will capitulate on trans rights in a couple of years. They will find some new minority outgroup on which to take out their frustrations.
Forget which sock you were using Rev?
Yeah, that was straight up Rev's ass. Just like the gap toothed extras from Deliverance.
Gay rights: (major example(s)
Right to receive the benefits of marriage and divorce Right to serve in the military without hiding their sexuality
Trans rights: _________________________________
Please fill that in to a specific, major legislative battle currently taking place that will dramatically change the lives of trans people attempting to navigate public life.
Gay rights/local level: Legislation banning 'conversion therapy'.
Trans on conversion therapy: Hey, look, your shoe's untied!
Subsidized or "free" hormones and reassignment surgery
Chemical castration on kids?
They didn't capitulate. They continue to discriminate against them over the back fences just like they did in the 50s.
You geniuses at the time knew it had nothing to do with official reasons or policies and made it illegal to use as official reasons or policies. You really tossed Br'er Rabbit into that briar patch. Things have gotten so much better for illegal tranny mexican immigrants that they've made the leap from blackmailed sex worker to voluntary sex worker. Another couple decades of this and, who knows, it might be teaching the kids they adopt to take up the family business.
CMW on board with "rights" based, literally, on feelings only.
I'm thinking being "trans (T)" trumps all the other letters in the alphabet soup of agrievement. It has the most power to bring our the hero label in the press.
If you're a young straight white male, living in a prog city, start wearing a dress to work. Immediate career boost and insurance policy on cancel culture. Survival in U.S. prog cities.
Klinger tried to get out of the military with that one. Now it actually works.
I expect to start seeeing an SJW trigger warning at the beginning of every M*A*S*H episode.
It's human trafficking no matter how you dress it up.
Have some dignity.
"activist fights for cause" sufficient. its identity doesn't matter.
Since plastic surgery has been around for quite awhile, the idea of changing one's appearance from male to female by removing/adding parts is simply an extension of that.
However we need different pronouns to avoid confuse between biologically male/female and surgically male/female. Perhaps we could go with t'she, t'he, t'hers, t'his... for starters. Obviously, t'they are proud and satisfied with their reconstructions or planned reconstructions, so let's not force t'them to be lumped together with the his and hers of the world.
Why don't we just go with the Canadian model:
(5) Refusing to refer to a person by their self-identified name and proper personal pronoun.”
Since the woke press uses Latinx even though most actual Hispanics have never heard of the term, we could just start using themx, or personx, or humanx. I'm liking humax. At least it's pronounecable.
That's how they do it in Wakanda!
Taxpayers should not foot the bill for hormones, surgery, STDs, housing, education, adoptions, shrinks, legal representation, daycare, or any other left wing utopian dreams for intersectionalitarians.
I"m fine with legalized sex work in red light districts of our cities, regardless of LGBTQXYZABCDEFG.
But here's the interesting thing: duty to disclose.
I think this should be true even without a commercial exchange, but let's keep it in the context of commercial sex work.
So prostitution is legal, and Joey hits up a prostitute samed Jamie. After the deed is done and payment has been made, the prostitute lets it slip that Jamie is actually short for James, and that she used to be he.
In my opinion, Joey now has a legitimate claim of fraud against Jamie
Criminal or civil fraud?
In Libertopia, where businesses are free to discriminate in their hiring practices, trans people will have no choice but to fund their hormone treatments through sex work and Starbucks tips.
Paid for in Bitcoin.
So only the good looking ones will be able to afford it? I'm down with that system. We could certainly use more of Bailey Jay and less of Jessica Yaniv.
Whoops, does ENB know someone is stepping on her turf?
Come now, we know that no young girl, or boy who will eventually be a girl, wants to grow up to be a prostitute!
Therefore it is our bonden duty to fuck with them as much as possible so as to make it too criminal and difficult for them to do so.
Then we can all go home feeling good about our moral selves, right?
Pass the chardonnay
"Meet the Trans Activists Fighting for Sex Worker Freedom"
The Platonic ideal of a Reason headline.
We should certainly make it easier for young girls and women that have been brutalized by sex traffickers to make it easier for those that follow that have lost all hope of normalcy to carry on in the life they have been relegated to. Those that have been made to feel their only chance for survival is selling themselves to sick people that want to use them should be legalized so the people that use them can do so with impunity. We can forget about the ones that are infected, beaten or murdered or the high rate of suicide.
This is the utopia promised by the left and should never be questioned. Give these women freedom.
This reminds me of those really cool made-for-TV movies from the 70s. Linda Blair, Eve Plumb....
Thanks, I needed the laugh. Unfortunately, I don't know what that picture is supposed to be, so I doubt I'll sleep tonight.
This comment not approved by Silicon Valley brain slugs.
"Bianey Garcia is a delusional man masquerading as a woman and activist who grew up in the Mexican city of Veracruz." There fixed it for you politically correct "Reason". Still trying to get invited to left wing cocktail parties I see, never gonna happen, the left still hates you.
