Is one of those disasters voting for Biden and his not so hidden plans the DNC openly published?
Hardly qualifies as a disaster; it is the will of the people.
Says so right here in the mainstream media, and all (valid) social media.
Welcome to the revolution.
(I really hope someone somewhere is going to put up a "miss me?" billboard)
"Don't blame me -- I voted Libertarian!"
Are you sure?

Cue the chorus of "Reason wanted this! They all voted for Biden!"
Oh, crap. Too late.
Would you shut it if I linked to comments where posts about sarc are greater than zero and posts by sarc are zero?
No, of course not. That would be honest.
And as productive as the impeachment of a no longer in office President for inciting a mob mentality riot now known as sedition.
At this point impeachment is about preventing him from holding office in the future. As much as I despise Pelosi, she had a point when she said the last few months of a presidency shouldn't be a license to do whatever you want because only a sitting officer can be impeached. Ugh, my skin crawls when I agree with that woman. But she's right. What if Biden or Harris pulls a bunch of bs in the last couple months of their term? Should they be immune because they exit office before the impeachment process happens?
Why would you vote for someone who'd pull a bunch of bs in their last month in office? It makes no sense. If you really fundamentally can't trust people then the only solution is to give them less power - reduce the size and scope of government. Primarily that means ending the wars on drugs and guns and abolishing social security and medicare. Sorry but there's no other way. Everyone's ox will get gored.
Government is a one-way-ratchet. You can't reduce their power.
Not without a reset. That isn't happening soon.
I mean you can volunteer to go against the wall first. Help America
Golly, I hope you're not talking about another inSurreCTion citizen.
Your lovely little AOC literally almost nearly could've died last time.
So, the people of the United States don't get a say in this?
Some rich tech executives and their enablers in the government now get to decide to ban someone from holding office?
And you're ok with this?
But you don't seem to be ok with the idea that Harris should be impeached for *literally* bailing out rioters? Rioters that attacked federal government buildings? And tried to kill federal police and civilian workers?
It’s all about the mean tweets.
She also literally made up confessions and evidence to find people guilty, and literally hid exculpatory DNA evidence to keep an innocent guy on death row
Yes, far better they pull the BS in the first months of their office so it can be firmly cemented in place.
At this point the impeachment is outrage theatre to distract the people while Congress sits on its ass and does nothing productive while trying to scheme a way to bail out the states who've run their economies into the toilet with horrible management.
So you'll forgive me if I have no interest in further nonsense surrounding the 'World Ending Assault on the Election!' and would prefer these idiots do something of some value. Perhaps they could consider the multitudes of EOs dripping from the pen of Joe 'I'm not a dictator, just a benevolent ole government guy' Biden, and at least show some semblance of doing their actual jobs.
I'm fine with Congress getting nothing done.
And with a record number of executive orders.
Hey, sarc knows Top Men are far more reliable than leaving the governing to congress.
This impeachment is strictly for scoring points and for revenge. There is no more basis for this than there was for the first one.
No argument. I'm just clarifying to the Trumpistas why their sworn enemies would impeach their Dear Leader for some reason other than to remove him from office.
Sarcasmic "clarifies" things by regurgatating DNC agitprop, but he swears he's not a Democrat.
This whole thread is you crying then arguing about why you cry. You’re so fucking broken. You should really take a break from here and pick up a new hobby. Like skydiving, or alligator wrestling.
She's never right. You have that in common
After you got embarrassed pulling this shit in the am you go do it again? Or are you too drunk to remember how bad you played yourself?
I'm finding people out there are becoming more receptive to libertarian values. Not because they like the ideology, but because the alternatives are worse. The main problem is that we're constantly vilified as open borders and autistic. There is truth to both of those allegations.
Well, not the open-borders one . . .
You must be a Jorgenson stan.
I don't understand. I thought we were supposed to be supporting the mainstream - because if they're wrong, at least they're wrong within normal values?
As such, where does that really leave room for libertarianism?
Passionately arguing for government schools (reopening) is an odd libertarian position, especially during School Choice Week.
Keep them closed. Close them forever.
Libertarians for Government Schools is one weird fluffing coalition.
How about this that I wrote elsewhere here as a consistently libertarian position that reduces both the problems of Government Schools and teachers unions:
Ideally, government schools will be reduced to one little rented office administering one little rented studio per state, offering remote learning as an emergency stop gap for those students transitioning to private schools. Willingly sending our children to government schools is a form of child abuse.
Innovation and adaptation, even to a horrible pandemic, bring general improvements along with their specific fixes for the problem at hand.
How about Libertarians for 'If your not going to open the schools and teach kids give me my taxes back.' And also for 'you saved enough not having to open all year so why do you need more gov money to open again?'
And also for ‘you saved enough not having to open all year so why do you need more gov money to open again?’
This is Reason. Government shutdowns are expensive because it costs more money to reopen. What we really need is UBI.

"Don't Wait For (Any More) Disasters To Adopt Libertarian Values"
I...What?...Do you...I can't even.
They went full retard. You never go full retard.
Too late for him
There's nothing but disaster heading for libertarian capitalists for the next two years. The only question is whether the first 100 days of Biden's presidency will be excruciatingly painful or merely awful for libertarian capitalists.
It will be fun to watch those who wanted Trump to lose eat crow every day for two years, and when it's all said and done, the only way out of our two year nightmare will be to urge people to vote for Republicans--even Republicans who are far less libertarian and Capitalist than Trump.
After all, the only reason Democrats can savage our rights, liberties, and markets for the next two years is because they control the White House and both chambers in Congress, and the only realistic way to bring that situation to an end is if enough Americans vote for Republicans.
There certainly isn't anything for a libertarian capitalist to cheer for in any part of the Democrats' agenda. Even Biden's immigration policies violate the separation of powers. For any libertarian who wanted Trump to lose, the next two years will be non-stop series of embarrassments.
My advice: Plead ignorance. It's the only explanation that really makes sense.
Libertarians...ha ha ha...you guys had a movement back in 08 with Ron Paul...best chance you had and you got caught up on "abortion" and "immigration" with policies that alienated 90% of those joining up..the focus needed to be on the authoritarian Fed and deficit spending and foreign intervention pushed by the neocons/globalists. You lost the moment...as old Ron said it was "sound money, free markets, limited govt, and peace". But you went all woke and spent your days not fighting the bolsheviks who are running academia, non profits, media, govt but under the bed boogiemen....
+ some random integer
LOL that's quite the headline coming from this group.
Take your own advice. Or better yet, get replaced by real libertarians.
Too bad "libertarian values" includes ignoring elected officials' actions and choosing to support freedom-haters based on feeling bad about words.
Hey, those mean tweets hurt people's feelings! The only remedy is the impeachment of a private citizen to make sure he can never hurt people's feels again!
The tweets were so very, very, very mean, and nobody fancy liked him.
Hello
"Don't Wait For (Any More) Disasters To Adopt Libertarian Values"
That's some REALLY good advice for MOST Reason Writers.
We all saw articles swinging into more *emotional* based prejudice driven TDS than "Reason" about policy. Heck; some are still battling with their own TDS bias. Boehm just wrote one of his few "good" articles and put Trump deregulated at a rate of 3.2 -to- 1 and immediately stamped contradictory bias (but Trump grew the Authoritarian State)..... I mean seriously WTF?

So you're worried about choice? In the big scheme of things choice of schools seems secondary compared to the right of free speech, the right to bear arms, the right to just conduct business.
But carry on
Nothing like liberaltarians at Reason, which demonized the most libertarian president since Cal Coolidge (and the most supportive of school choice) while campaigning for Joe Biden (or Jo Jorgensen, which was also a vote for Biden in swing states), now lecturing libertarians on the benefits of school choice and libertarianism.
If they want to be taken seriously by real libertarians, they should first apologize to readers for sabotaging school choice and libertarianism (by defaming Trump and by campaigning for the least libertarian and most partisan president who opposes school choice.
An even greater threat to America is posed by those who falsely claim they support the US Constitution, free markets and free minds (than is posed by those who publicly disdain the US Constitution, free markets and free minds, including Democrats, Socialists, Antifa, BLM, and the left wing media propagandists).
I've decided that I just can't accept Reason as a serious effort of supporting the virtues of capitalism. It displays such incompetence with its complete inability to block the massive amounts of 'work-from-home' spam in the comments. No business that fails this completely for so long is worth much.
Reason's "libertarian values", a true oxymoron.
"Libertarian values" have contributed to the catastrophic death total from COVID 19 in this country. Had the government gotten involved earlier and implemented much more aggressive actions, we would be in a much better position right now. Instead, Trump and his ilk whined about their "rights" while refusing to take even basic precautions to mitigate the pandemic. Now we have over 400,000 dead, an economy in tatters, and a nation of children falling behind in basic education. Thankfully, the Biden Administration has more sense, and more responsibility.
Lol! This is a fact free post. Just your opinion that things would be better if X happened, and now that Y happened things will most certainly be better.
Can you close it if I connected to comments in which sarc posts outnumber sarc posts by a factor of ten?
No, no, and no, no, and no, and no, and no, and That'd be straightforward.
best regards: MyArticles
what is that mean libertian values ?? pls explain this.
It seems to me that this is just whipping up a tense atmosphere, and nothing more.

Wow
Pretty sure the Benedict Arnold's ran away from Ashli Babbit, until one of their hired thugs shot her.
The word "Implicit" followed by a strawman. *yawn*
Congress will not bother to act as a check upon the executive.
"EXCUUUSE ME! That's what impeachment is for!"
Actually no, that what the Senate convicting on a bill of Impeachment (something the Senate has never done to a US President) is for.
You still haven't bothered to look up what "strawman" actually means I see. That offer to buy you a word a day calendar still stands, you know.
Also, was that exaggerated yawn you included one of these? Do you need some help?
