Kevin P. Alexander is a producer at Reason. His short documentary, Why Is Nike Stomping On Independent Creators? resulted in Nike filing a $4 million lawsuit against the documentary's protagonist. After a year of stalling in court, Nike dropped the suit. Kevin has also produced several Reason interviews with artists, including Tom Sachs and Stefan Sagmeister.
He was formerly a producer for New York's PBS affiliate, WNET, winning a New York Emmy for his documentary Treasures of New York: Art Underground. His short films have played at Academy and BAFTA Award-qualifying film festivals, including Boys & Toys (2020), which won the Special Jury Prize at the Independent Film Festival Boston. His debut feature, Hunter&Game (2014), won best feature at the L.A. Indie and Art of Brooklyn film festivals.
Kevin is a Brooklyn native who still lives and works in the city.
