The Montana Supreme Court on Tuesday reversed a lower court's ruling granting a new trial to a man convicted in 1984 of a murder he says he didn't commit.

The 4-3 ruling also tossed out Barry Beach's post-conviction petition, meaning Beach, who has been free since Dec. 8, 2011, will likely head back to prison to finish out his sentence.
