Sen. Rand Paul's (R-Ky.) team denied the lawsuit he filed Wednesday was stolen from attorney Bruce Fein, who leveled the charge earlier in the day.

The executive director of Paul's political action committee, Doug Stafford, said Fein helped with the 18-page complaint filed against President Obama and the National Security Agency. Fein was paid for that work, Stafford said.
