Brickbat: Father of the Year?

In Texas, the Port Arthur Police Department and Child Protective Services are both investigating a TikTok video showing a man use a child to clean snow off his car. The man can be seen laughing and smiling as he wipes the child—reportedly three months old and heavily bundled up—across his windshield and hood. After the video was posted, officials conducted a welfare check and found the child was unharmed. But Police Chief Tim Duriso still plans to pursue child endangerment charges and called it "a sad situation."

So, this is dumb. Obviously.
Also dumb, splashing this kind of thing on the internet hoping for lols and clicks and "friends."
It's like transing your kid. It's for your benefit, not theirs. Just, don't do it. Even if it's just for your lols. It'll never end well as soon as other people find out.
IDK, there's a cultural exposure thing that doesn't happen otherwise. I certainly don't disagree that social media is structured well or a good idea, but if pro-abortion videos are going to get 100K likes, unless you talk about Dad's getting harassed by DCFS for benignly using their toddlers as squeegees, the bubble never really pops.
I bet the kid was laughing.
^^ this! my pops did the same thing with me & my brother and I'm only semi-functionally disabled now
See, TikToc is a danger to Americans, if your harmless video is seen by law enforcement.
Looks like this father/son playtime...

...snowballed out of control.
Yet another example of a 3 month old American doing the jobs that immigrants won't do.
The sad situation is you going after a dad playing in the snow with his kid.
This!
People all gotta lighten up and get a life.
Typical terrible reporting. Neither this story nor the linked article mention how fast they were driving down the highway when this happened.
Shirley they were going quite fast for the pearl clutcher to complain…
Police Chief Tim Duriso...called it "a sad situation."
Yeah, it was, for the Port Arthur Police Department and Child Protective Services; neither of which should have gotten involved.
