Brickbat: Sign Here, or Else

An Oklahoma City police officer has been placed on paid leave pending investigation of an incident in which he slammed 70-year-old Lich Vu to the ground, reportedly causing a fractured neck, a brain bleed, and memory loss. Video shows the officer telling Vu that he was being issued a ticket for an improper U-turn. Vu, who appears not to understand English very well, refuses to sign the ticket. The officer says he'll take Vu to jail if he doesn't sign the ticket. Vu gets out of the car and the two continue to argue. At one point, Vu appears to tell the officer to "shut up" and taps the officer's chest with the back of his fingers, which prompts the officer to slam him to the ground.

...taps the officer's chest with the back of his fingers, which prompts the officer to slam him to the ground.
Officer Joseph Gibson was itching for that. Worry not, he'll be back on the street taking down old foreigners again in no time.
If the dude has enough English to get a drivers license he should be able to understand that placing your hands on a police officer is never a good thing.
(L)itch had it coming?
Another sickening video courtesy of a pig in blue. Unfortunately, the pigs' scum colleagues and attorneys have so much experience with similar cases, anything resembling justice is a long shot.
Ship Vu the fuck back to from wherever he came.
No excuse for elder abuse. Unless you're a cop, then you get a paid vacation.
You sassing me boy?
See! Just another blatant example of these damn law breaking foreigners. Run them all back to where they came from.
Must be from one of those primitive societies where the elderly are treated with respect.
"Eh! I am a COP, and you will RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH"
“ taps the officer's chest with the back of his fingers”
Were they assault fingers? Able to touch a whole bunch of people without reloading
Go ahead and use your non assault fingers to start tapping cops on the chest. Please video and post your results.
Some would claim that people making improper u-turns are a threat to society!
A few more details...
He is from Vietnam - you may remember that we had some difficulty there in the 1960s and '70s and offered safe refuge to people to come to the United States to avoid those evil communists
He apparently also has bone cancer. One of the accounts indicates that his improper u-turn resulted in an accident.
Well there is no precedent case that says that you can’t slam a 70 year old, 5ft 3, 115lb, bone cancer victim on his head … so how is an officer supposed to know that it’s wrong ?
Qualified Immunity achieved !
