Brickbat: Fashion Police

The Chinese government has proposed a law that would ban wearing clothing or symbols that "undermine the spirit or hurt the feelings of the Chinese nation." Those who violate the law could face up to 15 days in jail and a fine of up to 5,000 yuan ($685 U.S.). The proposal comes after police in Suzhou detained a woman for wearing a Japanese kimono and after people wearing rainbow-print clothing were barred from attending a concert in Beijing.

And who gets to decide when the country's feelings are hurt ?
Yeah, I thought so.
I'm making $90 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning 16,000 US dollars a month by working on the connection, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply. Everybody must try this job now by just using this website... http://www.Payathome7.com
Proposed has an entirely different meaning in the land of the CCP.
Finally, earth has found its ultimate safe space.
Well,, China is officially communist, so it tracks.
Do NOT re-elect Trump! Else we will wake up one day and find that...
The Trumpian government has proposed a law that would ban getting vaccines, hiring un-Trumpian ferriner-type employees, buying un-Trumpian ferriner-type products, or engaging in ANYTHING that "undermines the spirit or hurt the feelings of the Trumpian nation."
Laugh derisively at my supposed exaggeration at your own peril! This kind of Karen-ish micromanagement of your political-tribal loyalties IS rampant over here ass well! Don't forget that VP Mike Pence's "Team R" loyalty (and also his loyalty to the USA cunts-tits-tuition) was NOT enough to keep the crown from chanting "Hang Mike Pence", and to keep the Esteemed POTUS from agreeing with the crowd! Ye MUST be loyal to TRUMP above all else!!
Yawn. Four comments in, and here comes Trump. I know this isn't a record, but it's still annoying.
Agreed! Here comes Trump again... WHY won't he GO AWAY? Admit he lost his erections for starters... We all get old eventually, and various body parts stop working very well! Complaining about this helps NOTHING, and just annoys people! And DON'T run again (threaten our democracy again), because ass we can see, MANY-MANY on "Team R" put Trump WAAAAY above mere "despicable democracy"! This is all VERY annoying to fans of democracy and enemies of one-party rule!!!
That thing which posted is not actually sapient. It's an NPC, the meat equivalent of a spambot.
How does one hurt the feelings of an abstract entity?
Going back to the gray Mao suit?
>>The proposal comes after police in Suzhou detained a woman for wearing a Japanese kimono
quick! find a way to keep this chick in jail
I'm guessing I wouldn't get away with running around in public in a poo bear costume.
Well, at least they weren't wearing clothing with the Gadsden flag on it.
“undermine the spirit or hurt the feelings of the Chinese nation.”
There’s a reason why tyrants word their edicts broadly and vaguely. There is no objective test by which one can tell whether one is violating this law; and no objective way for a judge or jury to determine guilt or innocence with this wording. My feelings, for example, are whatever I say they are; and a nation cannot have any feelings at all under any circumstances! And how can anyone undermine the spirit - of a nation or of anything else? What is "spirit" in the first place?
So why confuse the issue with a picture of a woman in a qipao?
According to Wikipedia, this style of garment was introduced by the Manchus when this relatively small tribe conquered China and ruled it for 3 centuries. Could it be considered a symbol of Chinese national humiliation?
But it appears that if they started arresting women for wearing it, they'd have nearly half the country behind bars, so probably not.
Well, they obviously have an inferiority complex, and given their sorry history and culture, it is easy to see why.
Confident, proud nations don't need to penalize "hurting their feelings".
What truly sets Mason Easy Pay apart is their convenient payment system. As someone who loves to shop but hates the hassle of multiple payments, their easy pay option was a game-changer. I could choose to pay in installments, making it much more manageable for my budget. It felt like I had my very own personal shopper, taking care of all the financial details while I indulged in my retail therapy. The quality of the products I received was exceptional. Each item was carefully packaged and arrived in pristine condition and you can also explore more reviews on https://mason-easy-pay.pissedconsumer.com/review.html . The footwear was comfortable and stylish, and the clothing fit like a dream. It was evident that Mason Easy Pay takes great pride in curating a collection that not only looks good but also feels good to wear. Another aspect that impressed me was their customer service. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, their team was prompt and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that my shopping experience was nothing short of extraordinary. It's rare to find such dedicated and friendly customer service these days, and it made me feel valued as a customer.
Well, the worst thing about a girl's appearance is a sloppy, too bright manicure or very long nails with a bunch of details. Looks like bad taste. Everyone has different tastes, of course, but I believe that the simpler the manicure, the better. You can even use just rubber base gel with some shade or transparent to make your hands and nails look really luxurious.
