Brickbat: Buying the Farm

The government of the Netherlands said it plans to buy and close 2,000 to 3,000 farms and businesses to meet European Union nitrogen pollution-reduction goals. The government insists it will offer more than the farms and businesses are worth. But Nitrogen Minister Christianne van der Wal warned that if the owners do not voluntarily accept the offer, it will, "with pain in the heart," force them to sell. "There is no better offer coming," she said.

I get paid over 190$ per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I’ve been doing..

Old MacDonald was dyslexic. I-O-I-O-E
Nothing could make it plainer that they intend for people to die. It's not an unintended consequence or an unforeseen result of sharply limiting the amount of food that can be produced, it's exactly what they want. When the food shortages hit and people begin starving to death (as they shiver in the dark and the cold due to fuel supplies being scarce and expensive) people won't have to wonder any more why the Jews under Hitler didn't rise up and fight back but instead just quietly went to their deaths. The French are rounding up guns from the populace as we speak, the Canadians have started a gun crackdown, many other countries have long restricted access to weapons. Time's ticking people, wake the fuck up!
Right…due to the nonexistent problem of an exploding overpopulation. Are these idiots even aware that the population is shrinking? Never mind in Europe, where that’s been the case for decades. Everyone knows it about Japan, but it’s also seriously shrinking in China, and fertility rates at or a bit below replacement in nearly all the rest of the world.
Even in the few countries that still have high birth rates, it’s falling and continuing to trend downward.
Affluence leads to declining birthrates. Improverish Europe with all the proggies rules and you're sliding backward.
On the other hand, affluence also leads to calls for silly postering via government action.
Catch-22.

Let's cut our domestic food production to...huh...what?
I’ve made $1250 so far this week working online and I’m a full time student. I’m using an online business opportunity I heard about and I’AM made such great money. It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. Here’s what I do, .for more information simply.

You will own nothing and you will be happy.
I really have made $30,100 while not an uncertainty in about a month and a half decisively working part-time from my loft. Straightforwardly, at the same time as my (hvr-05) last business, I became depleted and luckily I pursued a choice on this high web-based task and with this I’m in a situation to get thousands promptly through my home.

Or at least compliant.
I really want to know what kind of dirt that real-life Blofeld with a lair in Switzerland has on nearly every world leader, regardless of party, that they ask him how high whenever he says jump.
One thing about the sort of power-hungry pricks that get to the top in politics is that they don’t want to be bossed around themselves. They want to do the bossing. So how does Schwab get them all to do his bidding, with no questions asked?
He doesn't need dirt.
He's a real life Richmond Valentine and they're all happy to join up with him.
So, basically Richmond Valentine and everybody else is stuck on Ehrlich's book from 1968. That bears repeating: a theory espoused in a book published in 1968! Meanwhile, in most of the world, depopulation is already becoming more of a problem than overpopulation.
What's next for these trend-setters? Will they work to withdraw the troops from Vietnam? Will they address the safety issues Ralph Nader brought to light about the Chevy Corvair? Maybe they can work on getting the publishing ban lifted on Allen Ginsberg's "Howl." LMFAO

...Nitrogen Minister Christianne van der Wal warned that if the owners do not voluntarily accept the offer, it will, "with pain in the heart," force them to sell.
Line those kulaks against the wall!
LOL. There's a "Nitrogen Minister".
Given that air is 78% nitrogen, she will have the power to regulate the air you breathe.
Voluntarily must mean something different in Dutch?
No.
It means the same here, as in mandatory volunteer work to get your high school degree, etc.
In the military you can get assigned volunteer duty.
Nitrogen Minister Christianne van der Wal...
WTF is a Nitrogen Minister?
A little googling shows that's short for "Minister for Nature and Nitrogen Policy", but doesn't clarify "Nitrogen Policy". Maybe it's about fertilizer runoff?
More like watermelon policy.
When your country has a Nitrogen Minister, your government is too big.
"There is no better offer coming," she said.
I don't think you understand how negotiations, or threats, work. My previous offer of of 'fuck off *or* die' is off the table.
The usual suspects will tell us that since these farms were sold voluntarily their was no government coercion involved.
Nitrogen Minister?
My thought exactly.
No doubt the Carbon Czar is next up.
> Nitrogen Minister
My brain just just a few cells reading that.
Textbook Nitrogen narcosis.
But Nitrogen Minister Christianne van der Wal warned that if the owners do not voluntarily accept the offer, it will, "with pain in the heart," force them to sell.
1. Nitrogen Minister? Wait until they appoint an Oxygen Minister.
2. Van Der Waal forces are a bitch.
2. Van Der Waal forces are a bitch.
Both the unionized and unionized ones.
Fucking WEF fascists.

The Netherlands may be wide open when it comes to drugs, assisted suicide, and whom you can marry, but when it comes to farmers’ property and managerial rights, the place is a hell-hole.
Consider that after WWII, it was decided that there were too many small farms with tiny, scattered land holdings, and old farm houses. So a referendum was held amongst the farmers to consider if they should neaten everything up, swap land around to create bigger holdings, and replace all of the old farm houses. The farmers almost universally either voted “No” or boycotted the referendum altogether. The government, in it’s infinite wisdom, decided that not enough people had voted (the right way), and created enough additional votes so that the referendum passed.
More recently, concerned about cows producing too much methane, dairy farmers were required to keep their cows inside year ’round, with some sort of methane recovery system. For reasons I can’t recall, the concept went bust, and the cows were released back to where the farmers had claimed they needed to be to be happy (and productive): outside whenever possible.
Nice place to visit, but a pisser to live in.
I'm surprised so many Americans wish we were more like Europe.

This comes as Belgium’s federal prosecutor confirmed to Belgian public service broadcaster RTBF on Friday that one of the parliament’s 14 vice presidents had been taken in for questioning as part of a probe into corruption involving the European Parliament and a country from the Persian Gulf.
Corruption in the EU Parliament? What a surprise.
