Brickbat: What a Drag

In Tennessee, the Rutherford County Board of Education has fired Walter Hill Elementary principal Helen Campbell for unprofessional conduct, conduct unbecoming, insubordination and neglect of duty. Campbell and teacher Bonnie Marlar were caught on video dragging a special education student by his ankles some 200 yards through the school's hallways, causing minor injuries to the child. Both were charged with child abuse/neglect and endangerment. Campbell was also charged with attempted destruction of government records for trying to tamper with the video. Both received probation after pleading no contest. Marlar did not have tenure and her contract was not renewed. Campbell had tenure and was placed on unpaid suspension until the board fired her.

Reading the headline, I (wrongly) assumed it had something to do with cross dressing. Good to know some principals are going back to corporal punishment.
You’re assuming Charles didn’t misgender the student.
Well, he's not a biologist.
Two people to drag a student 200 yds. and failing to figure out how to work the technology to delete the video. What else do you need? Paychecks sealed in a pickle jar or put up on a high shelf?
I’ve made so far this year working online and I’m a full time student. I’m using an online business opportunity I heard about and I’ve made such great money. (res-35) It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. Here’s what I do.

She didn't drag the kid in a professional manner? What, one has to hire a professional Drag Queen to drag the kids, in a more PROFESSIONAL manner, or what? Must one get a Master's Degree or PhD in being a Drag Queen or a Drag King or a Dray They, before one can do this correctly?
Inquiring minds want to KNOW, Dragonit!
" . . . was placed on unpaid suspension . . . "
Well, this is a news site after all.
I never knew there was such a thing for teachers.
What about for cops, bureaucrats, and politicians?
Teachers are part of a union after all. Dunno about principals though, are they considered labour workers or management?

Past 19 cops, who had been there for an hour.
Nice touch with the video of a cowboy being dragged by a horse around an arena. Almost makes you feel like you were there.
I didn't see it so I'll ask, why aren't the parents suing both of them in civil court?
On a similar note, why hasn't DCF taken their children away?
"Both received probation after pleading no contest."
I bet they have welts on their wrists after all that slapping.
How much longer will voters ratify taxation, truancy laws, collectivist conditioning and shooting sprees before they finally agree to auction off government schools and exempt them from tax-crazed looter ideologue depredations? For 50 years now they have had a clear choice. But thanks to Nixon's anti-Libertarian law making people aware of the alternative is micro-aggression.
