Given that there are more than seven billion people in the world, can this statistic be used to highlight how small the chance is that a journalist will be thrown in jail? This will be helpful any time sad journalists want to complain about journalists being thrown in prison by some government or other.

An Egyptian court has sentenced singer Shaimaa Ahmed, known as Shyma, to 2 years for a racy video, "I Have Issues," that included lots of sexual innuendo featuring a banana.

She was found guilty of inciting debauchery and publishing an indecent film, as she was suggestively eating a banana in the video that was found to be obscene by the court.

The music video director was also sentenced to 2 years.

On her now deleted Facebook page, she wrote "I didn't imagine all this would happen and that I would be subjected to such a strong attack from everyone."
