A spokesman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement say they have referred the arrest of Carlos Bolanos to its investigator general and its Office of Professional Responsibility. Video shows plainclothes ICE agents enter a home Bolanos was remodeling. They admit they have no warrant and insist they do not need one. They refuse to identify themselves and refuse to leave until they have arrested Bolanos.

The Democratic senators asked for results of any reviews of the incident, an explanation of policies that led to Bolanos' arrest, and for measures that may be undertaken to "correct inappropriate and potentially unlawful behavior" shown by agents in this and other incidents.

The legislative branch attempting to regain its oversight responsibilities. Isn't that cute.

May I suggest that, of the current 2.8 million federal employees, that actually firing the ones who blatantly break the law might, maybe, just possibly, help this situation more than additional training?

Clearly the founding fathers had a whole raft of exceptions in mind when they wrote the fourth amendment. I assume they didn't bother to write them down because they were so obvious, at least to the righteous to whom those exceptions would apply.
