After Hurricane Harvey, FEMA is prepared to stay in Texas for years.
Preparing Trump to take over as dictator!
After Hurricane Harvey, FEMA is prepared to stay in Texas for years.
Not like anywhere else wants 'em.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson insisted President Trump didn't speak for American values, only for himself.
And the Americans who elected him to represent them.
More evidence backing decades of libertarian warnings that it doesn't matter who we elect President.
Trump is expected to roll-back an executive order by Barack Obama that prohibited some military gear from being sent to local police departments.
He'll be sending the very best MRAP's. Very beautiful things. Wonderful.
Floyd Mayweather defeated Conor McGregor with a 10th round technical knock-out.
If McGregor would have won we could have called the celebrating on the streets of Ireland the "Irish Spring", but no, he had to lose and rob us of that opportunity.
Hard to see a $100M payout as "losing". The poor dear.
Floyd Mayweather defeated Conor McGregor with a 10th round technical knock-out.
Still waiting from Reason word on who won the Stanley Cup this year.
Just some white dudes.
They're waiting on ESPN to report on it.
There's a hockey game on TV right now.
Oops, never mind. It's just an antifa protest in Berkeley.
Trump is expected to roll-back an executive order by Barack Obama that prohibited some military gear from being sent to local police departments.
I bet its because he wants to prohibit all, not some, military gear from being sent to local police departments.
Lc1789's not here, man.
I'm right here goober.
Law enforcement should get zero military surplus equipment. They are police not armed forces and should dress and act like it.
After Hurricane Harvey, FEMA is prepared to stay in Texas for years.
If FEMA opens their Winnebago concentration camps Alex Jones will be proven right.
Left-wing violence at an anti-Marxist rally in Berkeley.
On many sides, Krayewski?
Left-wing violence at an anti-Marxist rally in Berkeley.
Protip: anytime you find yourself punching someone for having an opinion you don't like, you're the fascist.
Ace of Spades has a cool set of pics up that juxtaposes the Berkeley Antifa actions with the rescues occurring in Houston. After looking at them, you'd much rather choose to be in Houston over Berkeley right now.
No separate link for the photo montage, but if you want to take a gander, it's under the header "I'd rather be in Texas."
Okay, but which one would you rather be five miles from?
Left-wing violence at an anti-Marxist rally in Berkeley.
Honestly, would it surprise anyone if a majority of every rally is comprised of agent provocateurs?
Uber selects a new CEO, formerly of Expedia.
That was quick.
The Make America Great Again swimsuit loved by Trump-supporting women - including Tomi Lahren, Willow Palin and a host of stunning models
TW: It's a risky work link because it could inspire a reluctant wank.
This is the fourth most regrettable boner i've ever had.
Not-so-fun fact: number two was inspired by this woman.
I shan't tell you how, though.
How YA Twitter Is Trying To Dismantle White Supremacy, One Book At A Time
Heroes!
every child sees themselves accurately reflected in literature.
Just pick up a copy of the Time Person of the Year issue from 2006.
A concerted effort on behalf of the YA community to make sure that every child sees themselves accurately reflected in literature.
You'd think an endless parade of characters demanding government entitlements and blaming whitey for all their personal and social ills would get tedious after a while.
By encouraging children to write their own stories with themselves as the heroes?
Granted, that's what I did, but it seems like the only solution.
The condoms designed to make HER feel good: School friends create range 'by women, for women' after being left red-faced buying garish packets made for men
Is the packaging that off-putting?
Condoms don't make anyone feel good; quite the opp-
It uses the finest ultra-thin vegan, 100 per cent natural and fair-trade latex
Oh, they didn't mean physically.
Heh.... funny!
My first thought on reading "designed to make HER feel good" was isn't that one of the most famous tag lines in all of advertising? Ribbed for her pleasure?
Also, other than ram's bladders, is there such a thing as a non-vegan condom?
Also, also... you aren't supposed to eat those things, are you?
you aren't supposed to eat those things, are you?
Way to other the Cocaine Mule-American community, Cyto.
Oh.. good point. Sorry about that.
What the heck is non-vegan latex?
Trump is a novice protectionist
Safety first.
Ehhh.... So..... Why are we paying for all of that riot gear and all that overtime again?
The other money quote: 13 arrests, one for assault.
With at least a couple of dozen potential assault with a deadly weapon charges caught on camera, the best they could do was catch 12 people with "contraband" and 1 assault.
Is every police department in the country this afraid of being caught on camera dragging some screaming protester away? I know the Boston PD certainly have no trouble beating the crap out of an unruly fan at a Patriots game.* I wonder why they have such trouble arresting people in the act of vandalizing cars or stores?
* True story: I went to a game in Boston and the kicker missed the net on a field goal. The fans in the end zone started throwing the ball around instead of just tossing it to the ball boys. After about 3 or 4 throws, the police started streaming up into the stands. One guy caught the ball and threw it farther up right before the police got there. Three of the officers jumped on him and beat the crap out of him with their flashlights. Then they dragged him out of the stands, presumably arresting him for disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer.
Is every police department in the country this afraid of being caught on camera dragging some screaming protester away?
Well, in a way the police are in a lose/lose situation - either they cordon everyone off and use violence to enforce the barriers, or they don't. I am sure a department like the NYPD would strictly enforce those barriers and not feel guilty beating the snot out of they felt was a threat, and apparently the Berkley PD doesn't.
Well, I can tell you that for my part I vigorously boo'd the police when they beat that guy up. From my seat. Without waving my arms around or anything. I mean, they gave a couple of guys gratuitous shots for yelling at them while they were dragging the guy out. It was probably 30 yards away, but I wasn't taking any chances. Those guys were seriously dangerous. If 70k witnesses and a national TV crew didn't deter them...
#therealhero
Beating the shit out of one probably-drunk sports fan with 3:1 odds sounds way less dangerous than protecting some pissant civilians against hundreds of angry, violent "anarchists." Don't you want our Heroes in Blue to go home safe at night?
Is every police department in the country this afraid of being caught on camera dragging some screaming protester away?
In the case of Antifa, their MO is to act like a badass unless they get handcuffed by the police, at which point they go limp and start acting as if they're getting beaten like Rodney King.
Kids, save the act--nobody buys that the police are going to start clubbing you or shooting you for Rioting While White. You might get a nut-shot with a gas canister, though.
The mayor is a far-left agitator; I don't think it's any accident that Berkeley is the site of so much of this crap.
Trump Reportedly Fed Up With Rex Tillerson: 'Rex Just Doesn't Get It'
https://goo.gl/ovZPeL
Another week - another firing.
That's nothing... the federal budget fight is coming up.
I doubt Trump will actually refuse to sign any budget, thereby shuddering government for a few weeks. He will get some of his campaign promises in there and watch the lefties scream away.
Hey, turd! You lost!
Trump is expected to roll-back an executive order by Barack Obama that prohibited some military gear from being sent to local police departments.
Lol libertarian snowflakes - if you don't break the law you won't have to deal with the cops.
You might want to read Cato's comment above on the cops at a Patriots' game.
Hey, look everyone! I've been promoted to an institute!
Does this mean I get to offer internships? 'Cause that Clinton fella gave me some ideas.....
You're gonna finger some fours?
'We Are Living Through a Battle for the Soul of This Nation'
Drama queen gonna drama queen.
Diamond Joe's just mad because he's out of primo Albemarle kush, and hasn't been able to get in touch with his Charlottesville guy since the riot.
Did we think the charlatans and the con-men and the false prophets who have long dotted our history wouldn't revisit us, once again prop up the immigrant as the source of all our troubles, and look to prey on the hopelessness and despair that has grown up in the hollowed-out cities and towns of Ohio and Michigan and Pennsylvania and the long-forgotten rural stretches of West Virginia and Kentucky?
"Just ignore the fact that we didn't do jack-shit to address the economic meltdown in these areas the last 30 years, either, and decided that pandering to minorities, treating working-class whites with utter contempt by using stupid buzzwords like "white privilege" as a rhetorical club, and kvetching about who could use the bathroom was the future of our party instead."
Nations don't have souls. People don't even have souls, man.
Amazon Cuts Prices at Whole Foods by Up to 43% on First Day
The downside:
-sharing a store with garbage people - they pollute the air with their onion breath and body odor.
-we will end up with Amazon controlling the world, forcing us to sing their Corporate Anthem before violent sporting events involving roller skates and James Caan.
How are people going to virtue signal while simultaneously flaunting their wealth? This is a disaster!
$9.99 for a rotisserie chicken is still pretty pricey.
Speaking of grocery prices...
I was in northern Wisconsin this summer. Eggs are like, $0.50 a dozen, or less. Is it that way any where else, or is that just a local thing? Eggs were so cheap you kinda felt like you had to eat eggs every morning.
Prices have really fallen here in south Florida, but they still cost almost 3 times that much.
My circular (Massachusetts) shows them at $0.69 (save 50 cents). Don't buy eggs often enough to know the normal price or if it is 50 cents off every week.
Yeah, pretty sure I'm paying about 4 times that.
Oh man, I'd be eating even more eggs than I already do if it were $1 for two dozen.
I'm paying $1.79 for 18 in NYC, though most places start at $2 a dozen. At least they've fallen since the Salmonella outbreak a couple years back.
"$9.99 for a rotisserie chicken is still pretty pricey."
They're organic chickens, I tell you.
Organic.
Yes, organic.
Don't you know how valuable "organic" is?
Did I mention they're organic?
Organic
Not so pricey now are they?
Free-range, fair-trade, non-GMO, and gluten-free or GTFO
You left out "living wage."*
*would apply only to egg layers, not rotisserie chickens, for obvious reasons
I'd probably still go with the "conventional" Fujis.
Lower prices, for a time anyway, is OK by me, especially since I may have to start relying on WF more. I'm comfortable with corporate overlords.
I'm so old that I can remember when Walmart was going to rule the world. Now it's Amazon.
Lemme guess. The ribeyes are down to 16.99 a pound from 18.99.
Another leftard shithead in the JournoList admits that he's mentally ill. Thanks for telling us what we already knew pal, but at least you recognize the problem and are trying to get yourself help (attention Dave Weigel, attention Dave Weigel).
Back when Elizabeth Nolan Brown fabricated that bullshit story about Eli Lake, this loon was like the one guy who tried to defend her, when everyone else called her out as the dishonest cunt that she is. Great friends you have there honey.
Left-wing violence at an anti-Marxist rally in Berkeley.
"Peaceful leftist flower children peacefully assault people with whom they disagree."
After Hurricane Harvey, FEMA is prepared to stay in Texas for years.
Have they managed to make any progress on the Hurricane Sandy affected areas?
I still hear regular stories about people complaining that the government (city, state, federal - take your pick) isn't replacing their ocean-front homes for free fast enough.
FEMA is incompetent, not stupid. They're not going to work themselves out of a job.
