Speaking in Bethlehem, President Trump said he would do "everything I can" to secure peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
140 characters at a time.
The US has wasted decades trying to secure peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
Lets try a new approach, we ignore both of them.
Way ahead of you there.
Given that a large portion of the Middle East seem to be seeking the peace of the grave, bringing peace to the Middle East is as easy as pushing a button.
He called the terrorist who blew up those kids "losers". Sometimes a severely limited vocabulary can be an advantage. Like when posting on Twitter.
He will get that Jew/Muslim deal done. Believe him. Believe him.
If they play their cards right, and they manage to get a deal done, the Israelis and Palestinians could be at Mar Lago this time next year eating beautiful chocolate cake with the President. He should probably just send them a menu from the club as further enticement to make something happen.
Why not? The Russians, North Koreans, French, British and Chinese will be there -- if not in person, through their assorted bugging devices.
Bacon wrapped shrimp
"Bacon wrapped shrimp" was DanO.'s nickname in his college freshman dorm hall.
Hello.
RIP.
Torn? Taylor?
Roger fucking Moore. The best James Bond they ever had. His smugness alone defeated Christopher Walken. That, and the stupid ass airship he decided to flee in.
Not the best decision a Bond villain ever made.
Two men were publicly caned in Indonesia as official punishment for having gay sex.
Indonesia is on the other side of the International It's-The-21st-Century Line.
If they're into masochism there's no problem.
They might even get government jobs.
Or..... at the cutting edge of the internet live-streaming BDSM revolution...
Yeah, what happens if the dudes enjoyed the caning? Cane 'em again?
Then you have to cane yourself.
Masochist: "Hurt me baby!"
Sadist: "No"
President Trump asked two of the nation's top intelligence officials in March to help him push back against an FBI investigation into possible coordination
the art of the squeal. i assume this has been done already, i dont care.
+1 Deliverance
"President Trump asked two of the nation's top intelligence officials in March to help him push back against an FBI investigation into possible coordination between his campaign and the Russian government, according to current and former officials."
Bureaucrats fighting bureaucrats? What, is he crazy?
It happens all the time when one bureaucrat is operating outside his swim lane, doing something that is not in his bailiwick or trying to take someone else's unused funds at the end of the fiscal year.
Update: Florida man accused of choking his girlfriend during oral sex is acquitted of her murder after arguing that it was an accident and he has a large penis
Remember kids, if you are engaging in a carnal act with someone and that someone dies, just show your lawyer your large penis, and you will not go to prison.
Tagged: Florida Jury
I guess large penis is not always welcome.
Great GirlBand Name!
The defense lawyer: a flaccid penis is completely irrelevant, your honor, it needs to be erect.
Ain't that the truth!
"Marquinez 'accidentally choked on Patterson's penis during consensual oral sex'"
"If it doesn't fit, you must acquit."
allright if no one else will..."know who else had a large penis"?
Your mom?
oooh feel the bern, just when you thought it was safe to go back to the school yard...
You walked into the school yard with that one.
Former FBI Director James Comey's planned appearance this week before the House Oversight Committee has been postponed.
But I bought all those perishable impeachment snacks
Comey wants to have a sit down with Mueller.
No word on whether they'll do it on airport tarmac, but it does seem apropos.
Former FBI Director James Comey's planned appearance this week before the House Oversight Committee has been postponed.
His ghostwriter is demanding so much of his attention these days.
Fox News employees are horrified Sean Hannity is still promoting Seth Rich conspiracy theories
Why is everyone so afraid of the truth?
Where's Mikey? Did Hildog's Hillbilly Hitmen get him?
Hard to say which is the "afraid of the truth". Botched mugging in which all of the valuable items are not stolen despite the absence of witnesses is a problematic. As is the Vince Foster style conspiracy theory.
Hard to say which is the "afraid of the truth"
Hey, we're all just asking questions.
It's literally the first crime in my entire life where the leftards are furiously insisting that it was a street negro.
You really wanted to say Nigger didn't you.
Nuggets
Autocorrects to nuggets.
are those different than Avenue-Africans?
That's... that's why it is a botched mugging.
Someone's afraid of the truth. Not all conspiracy theories are false.
Best Band Name Evah!
The last thing they want is to find themselves on the wrong side of a "botched robbery attempt".
That's a strange quote. I could have sworn that I saw "His family is angry with the DC police and calling it a cover up" as a headline last week. Maybe I hallucinated that part. Or maybe "fake news"?
Which do you think is more likely?
Well no anonymous sources were quoted and this isn't a bombshell, so there's no chance this is real.
Please name the sources.
I guess there's now Kim Dotcom, as contradictory as that is, though I believe today is his put-up-or-shut-up deadline.
They're only now figuring out what a dumb ass Hannity is?
How and when was the theory "discredited"? I read that he was shot twice in the head and no money was taken
Is that not true?
Why would they murder him after he supposedly leaked documents? How would a murder at that point serve any purpose? Hannity is just so fucking stupid. And then when you compare the way Hannity examines this Rich case to the way he deals with the accusations against Trump it's mind blowing.
""Why would they murder him after he supposedly leaked documents?""
Really?
I don't know if it is true or not, but revenge would be a reason.
Deterrent to others.
Same reason china killed a spy in the parking lot of a government building.
Yep. This is how organized crime rackets work, and the democratic party is the closest thing we have in America today to the Cosa Nostra.
Speaking of coda nostra, it's safe to say if anyone important killed this guy, there would be no body. He'd be ground up and his remains dropped down some drainage ditches like probably happened to Hoffa, or at least at the bottom of a river.
I'm supposed to believe these uber secret powerful conspirators would just kill a guy and leave his body in the street? And not think to take his watch at least to make it look like a robbery?
Again, they did not kill him and leave his body in the street. He was taken to the hospital and was talking before he died.
Because he's not Russian and it wouldn't fit the narrative?
Well, it is DC, so the odds of him being randomly targeted by a random hood rat would be higher than most.
"Why would they murder him after he supposedly leaked documents?"
I'm going to pay you a compliment by saying you're too dumb to be a murderer.
One of the hot questions of the last year has been, "who leaked the emails to Wikileaks".
If it was Rich, murdering him is a handy way of stopping him from ever going public.
There's at least as much evidence that Rich was involved in the Wikileaks dump as there is that the Russians hacked the election or Hillary's server or that voter fraud is a real thing. Only one of those unfounded and discredited and evidence-less conspiracy theories requires 24/7 news coverage of the speculation, however.
It is not true.
It should also be noted that this conspiracy theory was revived due to Rod Wheeler going on the DC Fox station and lying, which he later recanted on Hannity's own freaking show. But Hannity continues to roll with it. And people who sarc about anonymous sources making up stories are treating Wheeler's weak shit as if it was credible.
Anonymous sources are only bad if they appear in the NY Times.
But anonymous sources reporting on Seth Rich conspiracies? Totes legit
And people who sarc about anonymous sources making up stories are treating Wheeler's weak shit as if it was credible.
Hey, at least Wheeler publically went on the record, which is more than we can say for anything else coming out of the Trump/FBI drama circus so far.
Wheeler is WaPo/NYT in this instance. He is not the source of the information that revived the conspiracy. He was also repeating what an unnamed source told him, and he started to walk it back when people asked questions.
It is true, and Julian Assange has already done pretty much everything except directly say "Yes, of course he gave me the e-mails."
Anyone who seriously believes that Assange putting out a reward to find his murderer is just some weird coincidence is a pretty sad hack.
Furthermore, neither the FBI, the CIA, nor any law enforcement agency has ever directly examined the DNC servers that the Russians supposedly hacked into. Gee, I wonder why that is!
For a guy shot twice in the head, he was apparently quite lucid while being treated at the hospital.
Anyone who seriously believes that Assange putting out a reward to find his murderer is just some weird coincidence is a pretty sad hack.
Just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber...
He wasn't shot twice in the head, he was shot twice in the back. Although I wouldn't be surprised if you don't know the difference between your head, your back, or your ass.
"I read that he was shot twice in the head... Is that not true?"
Are you looking for reading comprehension from Simple Mikey? Well, stop.
If we can't believe Sean Hannity, the leftist CNN press has won.
What was taken from Vince Foster's office? What happened to the docs Sandy Berger stole from the 9/11 Commission?
STOP FEEDING THE FREAK
or you'll end up with a fat freak, and nobody wants that...
Wait do none of you seriously whiff the foul smell of conspiracy in the air?
You recall that wikileaks put of a $10k reward for info pertaining to the death days after it occurred, and retweeted the fox story after it broke.
Do you guys seriously believe that America is the only country in all of time and space and history to not kill his own citizens covertly?
Wait do none of you seriously whiff the foul smell of conspiracy in the air?
Huh? This place is filled with the foul stench of morons perpetuating this bullshit.
Don't fall for this nonsense, dude. Take a breath, check out the actual evidence available, and if you're gonna go into conspiracy theorizing mode, consider the motives and logical actions of the various parties. Until someone can offer something beyond innuendo to substantiate this story, there is no reason to treat it seriously.
Why do you accept "shot in the back for no reason" at face value? Honestly it's a bit perplexing to me, I mean sure it could have been a random murder but I'm not going to eat what they spoon feed me without speculation.
I mean considering all the mitigating circumstances you accept the narrative without question?
"No reason"?
And not without question. But presumption goes to the simplest explanation. White boy walking in bad neighborhood at 4 AM gets mugged. Puts up a fight and gets shot. It's almost been a year, and there's no evidence contradicting this story. Pushers of the alternative narrative have had plenty of time to present evidence. They've only offered speculation, and most times they pair it with lies or misleading characterization.
Weighty presumption + dishonest conspiracy theorists with nothing to show = no reason to treat it seriously as of now.
I just heard someone say Seth Rich had a copy of the REAL birth certificate - and you won't believe what it said!...
Speaking in Bethlehem, President Trump said he would do "everything I can" to secure peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
Just hire the West Wing writers
""""Former FBI Director James Comey's planned appearance this week before the House Oversight Committee has been postponed."""
He is too busy being the Washington Post confidential source and moving flower pots around the Watergate building?
Remember deepthroat was the deputy FBI director and was pissed he was not promoted
British police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the Manchester attack.
This quick of an arrest? I give the odds he had anything to do with it at 50/50, unless these were known threats that they had under surveillance but who got away from them.
But also, nearly the entire UK is covered by CCTV, so some clues could have been obtained quickly like that, innit?
Homey please.
Known wolf. As was the guy who has been named as the bomber.
Nice.
I'm torn on this one. If they really have been telling him that there is nothing there and that he's not under investigation, why wouldn't you say "then let's wrap this up"?
Of course there is the other possibility: That he knows they are getting close to uncovering his plot with Putin and he's trying desperately to intimidate them into shutting it down.
I just can't see Trump being competent at anything. So it is hard to imagine him brokering a secret deal with the Russians that was only discovered because of the diligent work of our surveillance state in it's counter-espionage mission. As we have seen, a Trump conspiracy with the Russians would have been revealed by about 1/3 of the Trump staff, speaking anonymously with reporters.
Or, Flynn was his long-time supporter and Trump wanted to help him out. There doesn't have to be a secret Putin plot, the motivation could simply be that Trump was trying to help his pal.
General Cheeto loves and admires his real generals. He envies their power, their ability to inflict pain and torture and death on total strangers. And when they are loyal to the Don, the Don is loyal to them. Trump's inability to ever admit he was wrong -- about anything -- explains his tenacity in defending Flynn. It may well prove his downfall. That and a thousand other crimes and misdemeanors.
Or that Trump's "obstruction of justice" amounted to a request that the Intel folks correct the record as to whether or not there's any evidence supporting the FBI's investigation of Russian election hacking. This is WaPo, after all, they have a habit of spinning the story, twisting words and reporting rumors as facts.
Kind like the "threats and coercion" aimed at Comey in a note that essentially amounted to "I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive this guy." If you squint just right and assume Trump's a Mafia don, a friendly suggestion might seem like a mortal threat, but the plain reading of the text is that Trump was simply asking for some leniency, not making any demands.
That's my suspicion.
"Or that Trump's "obstruction of justice" amounted to a request that the Intel folks correct the record as to whether or not there's any evidence supporting the FBI's investigation of Russian election hacking."
I'm still waiting for the "details" of Trump's "interaction" with the Russkis that "hacked" the election, which details were to be announced "Thursday" according to a DoJ announcement along about 12/28/16.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the announcement was the first week in January, 2017, but plenty of Thursdays done come and gone and the "details" still seem to be lacking.
Pretty sure WaPo suggested they were a "bombshell!!!!"
I think it is more like Trump is treating the bureaucracy like it is part of his personal staff.
Imagine for a moment if this were all about, say, his fraud lawsuit with respect to Trump University. It is not at all unthinkable or unreasonable for Trump to tell his legal staff "hey, I'm innocent here, let's wrap this thing up and move on to something important" or some such thing. I think that is how he is treating the Russia investigation. He thinks the NSA guy and the CIA guy as just another part of Trump's entourage, rather than the heads of their own departments with their own responsibilities. I don't think it adds any nature of real guilt upon Trump, but he doesn't seem to get that it makes him look more and more guilty every time he starts ordering people around like they are just another personal assistant.
This could be a very fun summer.
It'll keep me entertained at least until the new season of Game of Thrones comes out.
"British officials say the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
British police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the Manchester attack."
He must have been all over the place.
+1 Humpty Dumpy and the Queen's men
A Special Forces Sniper Just Killed an ISIS Thug From 1.5 Miles Away Using the World's Most Powerful Rifle
It was like a game of cat-and-mouse
You know, if cats had access to high-powered firearms, satellite surveillance systems, and the full backing of cutting-edge military superpowers.
well yeah, always bring enough gun...
World's most powerful rifle?
Hmmmmm.... not sure about that. A "rifle" by definition is a gun with a rifled barrel. Presumably also a long barrel, but not necessarily, I suppose. Somehow I think there are loads of rifles that are much more powerful than a sniper rifle.
This rifle requires a railway car to move it.
Figuring out "world's most powerful gun" must be really difficult. This website thinks that the Tommy Gun and the AK-47 are two of the world's 10 most powerful guns.
The sniper rifle in question is a .408. Holland & Holland makes a .700 rifle for big game hunting. The GAU-8 Gatling gun normally mounted on the A-10 is a rifled 30mm gun. It shoots through schools (Johnny Dangerous). And tanks.
Seven al Qaeda militants killed in Special Forces raid in Yemen: U.S. military
Luckily they all turned out to be al Qaeda.
Well, thank goodness the Congress authorized another war in the ME...

Hobby-horsing craze in Finland manifestation of girl power
HELSINKI (AP) ? Sporting a black leather jacket, dyed red hair and a tattooed arm, Alisa Aarniomaki looks like she's on her way to a rock band rehearsal session.
But instead of carrying a guitar, the 20-year-old Finn gently holds on to something else: a puffy stuffed horse head on a wooden stick complete with glued-on eyes, mane and reins.
Weird, i didn't know i was into that.
I would have thought that only Americans were this infantile. I need to get out more.
That's pretty racist, dude.
When I was girl in Finland we all had hobby horse. My brother had hobby horse, my sister had hobby horse, and I had hobby horse.
Some kind of serpentine caterpillar chain circle jerk kind of thing?
Why would you move from a hobby horse country to a non-hobby horse country?!?
Damn, you beat me to this!
Aficionados take high pride in the sport's do-it-yourself attitude, and very few industrially made hobbyhorses are seen at events because they are "lower-caste horses," said Venla-Maria Uutela, a spokeswoman for a registered informal hobbyhorse society in Helsinki.
When everything is a sport, nothing is a sport.
That explains your mom.
you have to remember it's Finland after all, not much else going on there...

Well, if you're making $87 an hour and $52k a month, you're working over 19 hours a day.
I expected a lot more howling this morning.
Where did all the howlers go?
"?British police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the Manchester attack."
I checked the link. That's not the headline, that's the entire story.
I guess it's better than "the cops arrested somebody for something", but not by much.
Humm, an unnamed source read something to a reporter and we suppose to take that as evidence.
Kim Dotcom has said he will give a written statement that the wikileaks documents came from Seth. Another person came out an said he flew to DC to get the documents. Yet that is a conspiracy.
Btw, not saying any of this is true.
Kim dot com would be a great name for a North Korean President.
or a really stupid name for a delusional fuckwad...
Kim Dotcom has said he will give a written statement that the wikileaks documents came from Seth.
Put up or shut up, with the actual evidence such as an email from Rich with *any* of the docs attached.
Kim Dotcom can write? who knew...
I'm starting to suspect you don't like Kim Dotcom.
""Put up or shut up, with the actual evidence such as an email from Rich with *any* of the docs attached.""
I agree. For anything to be considered actual evidence, you need to present some. Kim Dotcom saying he has some doesn't mean much. In terms of evidence, it means nothing. Claiming an unnamed source read you something on the phone isn't evidence either.
I missed this news - the foundation of the CFPB is being examined by the DC Circuit Court.
It's odd that a supra-governmental agency specifically set up to be free from any control by Congress or the President would somehow screw up by not making sure it's free of any judicial oversight as well. Maybe they thought the Chevron deference policy was sufficient for the courts to acknowledge that it's none of their damn business what the CFPB does or how they do it.
So the brave jihadi who martyred himself while taking out a bunch of tweenage girls has been identified as 23 year old Salman Abedi.
No official word yet as far as I know about whether he was a good, well-assimilated natural born Brit, or whether he was a refugee or an "immigrant" or an "asylum seeker" or whatever other fucking government-approved term Nick Gillespie thinks we should use.
time to call in Robby Soave!!!
He was born in Manchester from "Libyan descent".
Do I sense a connection to Benghazi? Mike is on the case!
