According to the president, "I came up with it a couple of days ago and I thought it was good."

You don't want to know what he was doing at the time.

He was trying to repair a well, obviously.

Do you think Trump pulls an LBJ and makes most of his calls while on the can? That's always a hilarious thing for a president to do.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein reportedly "threatened to resign after the narrative emerging from the White House on Tuesday evening cast him as a prime mover of the decision to fire [James] Comey and that the president acted only on his recommendation."

    You're fired.

    1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

This is a news report about supposed threat to resign and we all know how truthful those are.

If it is true and Rosenstein publicly will not stand by his recommendation to fire Comey, then Trump should fire Rosenstein too.

      1. Liberty, Truth and Honor   8 years ago

It's not that Rosenstein doesn't stand by the memo you fool, it's that he won't stand by and allow Trump to tell lies about how it all went down.

        1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

I have received the attached letters from the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General of the United States recommending your dismissal as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I have accepted their recommendation and you are hereby terminated and removed from office, effective immediately.
Its not about that either fool. Its that the media and the left has no credibility to complain about Comey being fired and they are still making stuff up. The media has done a 180 and now Comey is their little darling.

Did the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General recommend Comey dismissal? Yes. End of discussion.

          1. Konima   8 years ago

I wish I were capable of deluding myself on various subjects as you seem to have done with Trump. That you've witnessed such gross incompetence and continue to slurp his jizz is fascinating to me. To be able to view everything occurring through this lens which distorts reality to the extend were you sound like an insane sycophant... Even if I had voted for Trump, I would have been off the train long before now.

I admire your loyalty in a sense, but hope to never be such. I can feel the panicked pace at which you type simply by reading your words. Such desire to parrot opinions that are not your own in an effort to persuade someone out there that everything is okay, but failing to realize that you are speaking into the abyss. Good luck, friend.

            1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

As someone who did not vote for Trump, I cannot let those who want to make shit up get away with it.

Even more scary to people who swallow the lefties narrative and ask for seconds, is that people like me have no loyalty to Trump and if he fucks up we are bitching about that. I just do not want to let things like how wrong getting involved in Syria is, get drowned out by non-stop nonsense of Comey's firing.

No abyss here. You read my comment and felt the need to dismiss it as insane sychophant behavior. Typical non-Libertarian behavior. I touched a nerve with my dissent of the lefty narrative and the left cannot have that.

            2. Red Rocks Baiting n Inciting   8 years ago

I wish I were capable of deluding myself on various subjects as you seem to have done with Trump

Well, you've certainly deluded yourself into think this has anything to do with the Russians, so congrats for finding a kindred soul.

        2. ThomasD   8 years ago

          Yeah sure.

Because vague unnamed sources in the WaPo are totally being totally honest about "how it all went down."

          1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

Exactly. Trump and his cabinet keep the media at arms length and the media acts like they have back-stage passes.

            1. Crusty Juggler aka "Chad"   8 years ago

You do realize these stories are heavily sourced because there is so much infighting in the Trump administration, right? That doesn't make the stories correct, but it is usually more than vague gossip.

              1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

Infighting with Trump movers-and-shakers or bureaucrats trying to undermine an American presidency trying to drain the swamp?

Funny how the media lies and creates lies and pushes lies and spins lies. Now all of a sudden, everything coming from the media is gold. Call me skeptical.

Its almost like some people want to use THE RUSSIANS to scale back cuts to big government.

                1. chemjeff   8 years ago

Why, Trump is *trying* to do the right thing! He only wants to drain the swamp! Really he does! And all of these mean menie press people keep bothering him and making up LIES about St. Trump! LEAVE TRUMP ALONE!!!!

                  1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

I know draining the swamp scares you so you have to say that Trump wants to be Caesar.

Firing Comey is one step closer to draining the swamp.

                    1. Konima   8 years ago

Please explain what Trump has drained. Why are you posting here? Seriously.

                    2. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

Konima: Comey is a corrupt bureaucrat. The swamp is a bit more drained.

Crusty: I am not saying dismiss information that shows corruption. I am saying that the media has zero credibility, so they cannot just throw out headlines like these and expect people to accept them:
The White House explanations for Comey's firing are crumbling before our eyes WaPo
Here are the three dumbest defenses of Comey's firingWashington Post
Was Russia the Real Reason Trump Fired James Comey? The Atlantic
Prove what they are saying and the bigger burden is on the media.

Chemjeff: The mainstream media has zero credibility. WaPo, NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, etc. They have to prove their allegations. I know its hard after giving Obama 8 years of investigative journalism hiatus.

                    3. Konima   8 years ago

Infighting with Trump movers-and-shakers or bureaucrats trying to undermine an American presidency trying to drain the swamp?

Since we don't know for sure which scenario is true, the news stories should not be automatically dismissed. It's really not complicated.

                  1. chemjeff   8 years ago

Oh no no you have to get on the BLAME THE MEDIA narrative train. The media is always wrong, always full of liars and shills, until they say something bad about the other tribe, in which case, they all deserve Pulitzers.

                    1. ThomasD   8 years ago

                      Yep, it's FAKE NEWZ

"No I'm not quitting," said Rosenstein.

                      http://tinyurl.com/lpajdw7

                  2. ThomasD   8 years ago

News stories? No, they should not be automatically dismissed.

Entirely unidentified sources paraphrased in the WaPo? Not dismissed, so much as kept as possible evidence of mala fides. Because, viewed in toto, the accumulation is appearing quite damning.

And the obvious repetition by others evincing a designed narrative.

                    1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

I just point out to look at motive. The media would obviously defend itself against allegations of bias, since their livelihoods and self-described jobs being propaganda pieces for the left depend on it.

Why would lefties defend the media so hard when clear bias exists? One explanation is that they know the media works for their team, so its in their self-interest to act like no bias occurs.

I point out media bias because its there, invasive and the left is trying to hide it. I wish the media just reported facts and didn't spin events for their team.

                    2. ThomasD   8 years ago

And just to be perfectly clear, the repetition is that every sort of error in reporting about Trump falls in one direction, and one direction only.

At some point those aren't mistakes, they are habit.

Neo-Nazi Who Officially Changed His Name Says, 'I'm The New Hitler'

A Pennsylvania resident with a penchant for naming his children after Nazi figures has officially changed his surname to Hitler, local news site MyCentralJersey.com reported.

As of Monday, the man formerly known as Isidore Heath Campbell can now legally identify himself as Isidore Heath Hitler, an expression of his admiration for the Nazi leader who was responsible for the execution of 6 million Jews and other "undesirables" during World War II.

"It's great. My driver's license is changed over, my insurance, my registration, all that I needed is changed over," Hitler told MyCentralJersey.com. "I'm the new Hitler."

White House says James Comey committed 'atrocities' as FBI Director

Ms Huckabee Sanders said Donald Trump had considered firing director James Comey since "day one," but made his final decision after receiving written and verbal feedback from Justice Department officials.
"I think also having a letter like the one he received and having that conversation that outlined the basic, just, atrocities in circumventing the chain of command in the Department of Justice ... When he saw that, he had to speak up on that action, and I think that was the final catalyst," Ms Huckabee Sanders said.

Fired FBI director James Comey allegedly told colleagues that Donald Trump was 'crazy' and 'outside the realm of normal' back when the President claimed Obama wire-tapped his phones.

The New York Times reports that Comey made the comments to associates after being left shocked by Trump's wire-tapping claims back in March.

In turn, Trump became outraged when Comey publicly dismissed the allegations. When deciding to sack the FBI director, Trump allegedly told his aides there was 'something wrong with' Comey.

The prog media - of which TREASON is a member - are refusing to give this story the coverage it deserves: Hunt for mysterious nude man who was pictured straddling a dead shark - as Jimmy John's founder DENIES it is him

The hunt for a man pictured nude and grinning while straddling a dead shark continues after several high-profile suspects disavowed involvement.

Jimmy John Liautaud and Florida Gators football coach Jim McElwain have both denied being the man in the shocking photo, which began circulating widely on Friday.

'Who is this man?' British wildlife TV presenter Anneka Svenska asked in a desperate plea for information on Twitter Friday.

It definitely looks like Jimmy John, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone from PETA doctored this photo because they felt he got off too easy with the earlier animal-hunting photos.

Heart Attack Risk With Painkillers Starts Within a Week: Study

The study doesn't mean that everyone should avoid taking the pills to treat headaches, lower fevers and reduce aches and pains, but does suggest people who know they have a bigger-than-average heart attack risk should avoid long-term use and high doses, the researchers said.

Nobody is having sex during the week

Research shows that weekends are the prime time for between-the-sheets action, particularly Sunday. An analysis of Instacart data, which offers grocery and other delivery from local stores, from this week shows that Sunday is a very popular day for buying condoms. And a British study of 2,000 people released earlier this year found that Sunday morning was the most popular time during the week to get frisky, followed by Saturday.

    1. Citizen X - #6   8 years ago

      Monday nights here, what what.

    2. Meh.   8 years ago

This makes sense. The article doesn't say, but I would assume condom sales spike on Sunday morning, around 12-3 a.m. Although I feel like buying this stuff is embarrassing enough, I can't believe people order them from a grocery-delivery service, but whatever works.

      1. Crusty Juggler aka "Chad"   8 years ago

They are much cheaper online, too.

Although I feel like buying this stuff is embarrassing enough

        Why?

        1. Meh.   8 years ago

Ha, I don't know. I do realize that the cashier really doesn't care. It could be something to do with outdated gender norms and societal expectations, but with all the female sexual liberation going on now, it's probably just a personal thing, mostly a hangover from my religious upbringing. My bad if it seemed like I was projecting that onto everyone, because I was just trying to make an observation on why I personally would never have someone deliver condoms to my door.

          1. $park? leftist poser   8 years ago

No, I was just curious. I bought some a couple weeks ago along with a pack of "massage oils" and the ancient lady at the register just smiled and took my money.

In the past I ordered online and that is definitely the more economical way to go.

    3. Stormy Dragon   8 years ago

Sunday is a very popular day for buying condoms

That's like concluding I don't eat all week because I usually only buy food on Sunday.

      1. MarkLastname   8 years ago

Was gonna say that. Date of purchase means nothing.

Maybe I'm just in denial though because I want to believe I have a chance of getting laid on a Tuesday afternoon.

The entire source for the Rosenstein story is a single unnamed "person close to the White House" coupled with vague allusions to other likewise unidentified "White House officials." there isn't a named source in the whole article.

        2. chemjeff   8 years ago

No one falls for your schtick. We all know that your "blame the media" crap is just another rhetorical game. Who reported all those stories about Hillary's email servers and her Russian uranium connections and her husband's airport meeting with Loretta Lynch and her pay-to-play nonsense with her foundation? It was that very same media that you now claim is just full of lying liars. Gee I wonder why.

          1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

Reported the fact of the events you mentioned or spun the events to fit the lefty narrative?

The media cannot simply report that Bill Clinton met with Attorney General Lynch. They spin it, to explain away any notion of corruption. Joseph Goebbels did the same thing. I wonder why the media did not run headlines that pushed Obama to fire Lynch?

The media were technically propagandists since they were doing the dirty work of the government spinning stories to suit the government.

Now the media is self-tasked with spinning anything Trump does into something nefarious. The media has purposely pushed opinion pieces as news for a long time.

      4. Azathoth!!   8 years ago

So you don't grasp that the only reason that "unnamed sources are saying terrible things about Trump" is because it WASN'T 'unnamed sources saying terrible things about Hillary'--it was Hillary's own emails and advisors--with her and their names included.

It was--and is, always-- here's X's email or here's X, on video, admitting it.

It was never 'an unnamed source, close to Clinton'.

        1. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

No. I am saying that they are actual sources that don't exist. In other words, the media is making shit up and hoping nobody will make a big deal about saying there is a source when there is not one.

Clinton conspired with Russia to trade uranium for political influence. I have an unnamed source...inside the Clinton family. See its that easy.

Isn't that the truth. It's certainly is a relief to know that making fun of the President is no longer the capital offense of racism. And Trump certainly is ripe for humor. But most of what is being directed at him isn't even funny, it's just distilled rage and contempt.

      Now this is funny.

Donald Trump told The Economist that he invented the phrase "priming the pump." According to the president, "I came up with it a couple of days ago and I thought it was good."

It's really sad that I no longer know if the people writing for reason understood that Trump was screwing with the interviewer with this.

I know that there are far too many people who consider themselves educated and enlightened, people with advanced degrees, people who fucking love science who will see this and simply take it as a given that Trump REALLY thinks he came up with that phrase.

I watched as they took a turn of phrase by Spicer and turned it into a history of Russian dressing--all so they could call Trump stupid.

    1. ThomasD   8 years ago

Wait until he's on a hot mic saying he just signed legislation banning Russia and we begin bombing in 30 seconds.
