Brickbat: Fly the Friendly Skies

Denise Albert, who is battling breast cancer, says she was humilated by Transportation Security Administration screeners at Los Angeles International Aiport. She said they roughly searched her, including the area around her metal port, then when examing the contents of her bag mocked the false eyelashes she was carrying because the cancer treatment has caused her to lose her natural lashes.

how is TSA constitutional?
Because fuck you, that's why.
People will agree to most anything id they're scared enough.
Fear is the mind-killer.
That's the real first amendment.
You are asking a question that no one in the government has ever asked.
Fuck the TSA and cancer sucks, but this woman seems like a bit of a drama queen.
If security were provided by private companies that worked for the airlines, security members wouldn't treat the airline's customers that way. Rather, if they did, they'd be fired.
It's absurd that any customer should have to be subjected to the snark of some unionized jackass just to fly somewhere.
The minimum wagers that work the counter at McDonalds treat customers better than that. Mediocre managers that run fast food restaurants fire employees for treating customers like that. They train their employees not to treat customers that way. Repeat business is highly dependent on hoe drama queens are treated.
'
Dealing with drama queens properly is called "customer service". Drama queens shouldn't be forced to associate with anybody they don't want to associate with either.
Airports are free to privatize their security.
NSFW back-scatter images in article, bonus points for imbedded link to Remy's TSA video, minus points for Remy not having the sense to set his video to that Exile tune - I Want To Touch You All Over.
It goes without saying that if the people of any country want something done efficiently, and in the most cost-efficient manner, they do it themselves or outsource it to private third-party service providers, instead of entrusting it to a bunch of bureaucrats and unmotivated government workers.
But then again, maybe this guy's just an idiot. Or new to this planet.
"The minimum wagers that work the counter at McDonalds treat customers better than that."
Actually, they don't. Automated kiosks can't come fast enough as far as I'm concerned.
The Trumpian Terror is the worst.
Why won't he leave us alone?
Chemotherapy and breast cancer is no excuse for wearing fake eyelashes. I mean what's next, fake tits? What a vain bitch.
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
if you can't do the makeup don't do the disease?
You have nothing to worry about if you have nothing to hide.

are your papers in order?
I've flown once in the last 7 years. Wouldn't you think by now that the airlines would realize that the TSA is discouraging their customers from flying?
Passengers aren't the TSA's customers.
they're actually paid by terrorists, otherwise known as Congress
Neither are they the airline's customers.
The TSA's customers are the pants-wetting masses who will give up anything to be safe. They seem to significantly outnumber those who are more afraid of government.
When you're TSA, you humiliate travelers. It's what you do.
